It’s been awhile since the last update.

Light - Sylstar GL4000a
45,100 Lux —20” above canopy @85% power.
3gal Air pot
Coir/ Bokashi/Frass/Perlite.
Living soil Grow/Bloom/Bloom2
Bio Green XForce @ 0.15ml/ltr (weekly)
Hydroguard @ 1 ml/ltr now and again.
Gorilla Shorty tent.

Extraction.. Mountain Air silent 150cm.
Tap Water15ltr bottles ph 5.8
CaO @ 1ml/ltr
MgO@ 1ml/ltr
Temp 32c
Rh 45%

I’ve set up a mini hand pump irrigation for this girl.
easy enough to do, and I really like it..
I’ve started to release a 1/4 ltr 4 times over the day. No run off today, whereas if I’d put the 2 ltr in slowly over a 20 min period, I’d get at least half run off into the tray.

I’ve also removed some foliage to let some light in.. plus I’m still getting plenty of moisture in there from the transpiring
I removed 6 good leaves from the top and 4 dying leaves from the bottom.
I’ll take a few more over the next couple of days hopefully free up some more future bud sites.

if I’m honest, I think that the new growth is still a bit yellowish and rangy lookin.. what do you recon peeps? Lacking some N or something?

I’ve been lucky enough to have been given a great deal on the GL4000 from @Sylstar ..
Here’s a bit about the light from their Website.

Gotta be said… It is doin a great job on this WSE Chiquita Banana so far.
I’m impressed. And she’s in with some fine company up here.(Gavita 1700/Advanced platinum 1200 for previous grows)
I’ll be housing the GL4000 in the big girl tent as soon as it’s free.

This lady took a turn for the worse early on in the grow.. up potted into some no-dig soil from the veg patch,Living Grow soil top dress every 2 weeks… me tinks she’s bouncing back after a bit of time under the stars..
When it rains, she gets watered..

Not so for the Chiquita Banana back up.. she’s looking all weedy and has very little growth..
Deleted the pics of her though… Doh! I’ll take some more soon.

Canna BioBoost @20ml ltr (weekly)
Canna Bio Rhyzotonic @5ml/ltr (weekly)

She’s not looking too bad at the minute, let’s hope it stays that way till the end
I’ve added a little fan hung from the roof of the tent.. no more problems with the moisture building up between the leaves so far.
I’ve also added an extra home made irrigation ring closer to the plant .

So now I have an attachment that I can interchange between the 2 ltr hand pump and the battery operated tap that sits atop the 15 ltr water cooler bottle.
One runs both rings, the other just the outside ring..

that goes here

pop out the connection on the T joint and pop it onto the adapted sprayer..

why Bud?Why? Well quite simply…it’s because I can now press a button to water … I mean ‘press a button’ c’mon.. a button
I’ve got the extra ring in for when things hot up a bit during flowering.. At the moment I’m just watering/feedin with the outside ring to keep the roots searching a bit.. I do my best to follow Emilya’s correct watering strategy for pots, which in turn helps to create a healthy rootball. So the outside it is

she’s starting to touch the sides with a couple of leaves here an there

I’m going to let her do her thang till she’s finished stretching. Then I’ll give her a bloody good trimming .. if I don’t talk myself out of it when the time comes that is

What say you brother? Into the Decarb box wet or dry best?
Thinking bubble hash too, so if it’s better dry, this trim can go in the freezer for a bit..
I’ll use some bud and trim, once I’ve finished drying for the Magic Butter machine.
Ooooh.. I feel like willi wonka with all these options for sweets, cakes and tinctures..I’ve never had a tincture though, so I don’t know if I like them.. mmmm
Can’t wait to get going with it.. pricey though, with the bits and bobs about £250 all in…

I've yet to do the tinctures, but when seeing what you can make with it? Yeah it'll happen...I want to make Canna sugar lol.
