Agreed. Haven't rolled one in almost 30 years. This was the very first one ever -ever - that was just for me. I never had enough on hand to be able to stuff one. This one was the perfect size actually. Stoned.

Nice one 36. :laughtwo:

Don't make me post pictures of the bazookas I roll!

Can anyone point me in the direction of some tea recipes?! Not exactly sure what to google, but I will try now. Any info would be great.

I'm just starting into Callanetics now, but I'll post some easy ones later Boogyman. Anyone else - jump right in. Do yourself and your plants a favor though and source some malted barley grain.

I can get this at a beer brew shop perhaps? Will have to look online!

Yes - all home brew supply stores carry it...and you will get a huge selection to choose from.
I wonder if the malt extracts work for tea?? That would be easy-breezy.

What you're looking for is 6 row malted barley grain. 2 row will suffice, but 6 row is preferred. That enzyme tea I use packs a powerful punch.

Done with my lead-in stretches. On to the Big Show. Callanetics keeps me strong and centered. If I stay consistent with them at 2-3 sessions aa week maybe I'll be able to keep the panic at bay better. The laughter you guys generate has been my balm, but my body needs to be fit as well. Well, there's that growing younger every day thing too. :green_heart:

What is the balted Marley tea mix? Will be picking this up ASAP :) Also going to try and get my hands on some pure coconut water.

Re: Sweetsue's Tiny Closet - Second Grow - Sweet Dark Devil & Bomb Berry Bomb - CFL -

I said that in jest, but now that the idea has come out it sounds almost plausible... we should definitely consider it sometime. I'm trying to list off all the East coast growers I know of on here...at least the ones I have spoken too....Rad, You (sue), Supergroomer, Massmedman?...oh wow I know there are more and I can't bring myself to remember them. Somebody help me out!

Include me in the right coast list there CC

Cheers

Hey there Boogy - I just did a tutorial on Mung Bean tea over at my journal - just go to the end I think it was my last post yesterday. I'm really diggin Mung Beans - they sprout super fast so I can have a tea ready for the ladies in 30 hrs start to watering. That's pretty fast. Getting awesome results too. One of the benefits of the sprouted seed tea is the enzymes that make the side colas think they are the main cola and all my side branches have almost doubled in length and are packing buds on as well with the main cola staying the same but getting fatter as expected!

Of course the malted barley will be ready I guess over night?? Sue how long do you leave it steep?

Say "hi" to Dale from the 420mag crew... one day at a time there SS... breath and be diligent. The nurses are on your side but you gotta stay alert, they have other patients worse off than Dale (not excuse but real world), they can be distracted.

I'm all about easy. That's why I'm so deep into BlueJay's No-till Gardening thread. He's all about easy too. The easiest way to introduce the highest quality of enzyme tea to your grow is this recipe, gleaned from the pages that thread.

Clackamass Coots Malted Barley Grain Recipe

- Grind 1 oz malted barley grain per gallon of usable tea into a fine powder.
- Add to about 1/2 gal dechlorinated water and 2 tsp reconstituted kelp meal and bubble 4 hours.
- Strain and drain into bucket. A paint strainer is the perfect choice to strain through.
- Fill with dechlorinated water for the volume you need.
- Add 1/2 oz/gal Ful-Power fulvic acid and 1/4 c/gal Aloe Vera juice
- Drench the soil.
- Watch leaves pray to the light.

So to answer an earlier question, the malted barley grain tea only needs to bubble for 4 hours. Seriously, only 4 hours. In fact, BlueJay no longer even bubbles. He puts the finely ground grain and kelp into a container and lets it sit for 4 hrs, stirring once in the beginning and once after everything else is added and as you drench.

Do this once a week, like clockwork, regardless of the stage of plant development.

Can we get any easier?

A companion recipe:
Reconstituting Kelp Meal

1/4 c kelp meal + 1/2 c water
- let sit 30 min.
- drain excess
- purée and store in refrigerator, lower shelf, in the back (coldest spot in the fridge)
** 1 TBS purée + 1 gal water for a drench or spray

Costco sells coconut water under the brand "Kirkland", 12 bottles for under $10. Worth looking into.

I'll be posting a few other easy recipes later. I find the basic recipes a smarter choice. Once you have your initial tea bubbled and have introduced those biota to the soil they will continue to increase populations based on the available food sources. There's no need to continue adding more as the grow progresses. Focus rather on enzyme teas and drenches that include Aloe/coconut water. Help your worms make better castings for additional micro nutrients many try to add in by tea or drench. Worms transform those building blocks into more dynamic additions by passing them through their gut.

Now, let me get my update done.

The pot got a 1/4 turn and both reservoirs got topped off to the tune of 3 1/2 cup in the Devil's pot and a full 5 cups in the other.
