SweetSue's Perpetual 3.0 - The Hempy/HB Hybrid Grow

What great timing! ***Happy Christmas dance!!*** congrats Sue. Well deserved and quite the catalogue you’ve acquired!

Thanks BudzFreak. :hugs: I'll join you in that happy dance. :laughtwo: :slide:

Seriously, what a score! Congrats sue. Best Christmas and birthday haul everrrr. Wishing you and yours a very blessed and special weekend .....

It's been a magical week, for sure Dabber. You have a wonderful Christmasy weekend, you hear? :xmas:

Morning Ms Sue, lol you beat me to it, was gonna say it’s always Xmas in Sues National Forest, Ranger Sue takes us all on the greatest nature hikes thru her forest......better than Xmas :circle-of-love::Namaste::cheertwo:

Have a fantastic holiday Garden Angel

Blessed Buds our friend and be well :passitleft:

I'm sure you're having a toasted holiday weekend AB. :laughtwo: Bet I'm ahead of you. The universe has begun to go out of its way to keep me smiling and singing a joyful tune. It's a subtle distinction, but an important one, that I'm not happy because all this deliciousness has tumbled into my life, but rather because I deliberately choose better-feeling thoughts and keep myself in a state of joyfulness the universe brings me more and more to be joyful of.

Being satisfied with where I am right here and now allows me to drop all the resistant thought that clutters up the vibration that makes dreams come true without trying.

Ahhh.... end of the year and a dish full of Blue Dream buds at my beck and call makes for lots of happy introspection. It's been a delightful year, hasn't it? Let me take another hit. RoorRip

SweetSue I got CBD Mass from Sherry too, can't wait to grow it. LOVE your t-shirt, you have quite the collection now.

You have so many great seeds, I love how organized your list is. ;)

Feeling pretty relaxed today, got a pair of reading glasses now. Seems like I'm studying so much I need 4 eyes now...lol.

Been amazing working with you, I'm here for the long haul...;)

much luv Lady G

Sherry shared with me last year that the CBD Mass was a chemovar that lit her up just smelling it. When I grew my only attempt it gave off a smell that did to me what the Jamaican does for my daughter. I was forced by circumstances to harvest mine early, so I've yet to explore the potential. It occured to me today that she's sent me quite a few, and that might just be the universe trying to catch my attention.

We may see one in the lineup in 2018.

It's a sweet pleasure watching you get your feet wet in the intimidating arena of medicinal cannabis preparation and dosing guidelines. It's all new ground, and we have a unique approach to the process. You fit right in. :hugs:

Great seed stash, SweetSue! I think you've surpassed me. You're now a member of the got-way-too-many-to-ever-grow club!

Sweetie, you have to put that Jamaican Dream into soil soon. It's delightful - you'll love it!

... and I covet your Huckleberries - that's a winner.

I hear you on the Jamaican Dream Graytail. She was just beginning to show her stuff when I chopped the first attempt in the emergency teardown. Geez.....leave that memory behind on the trail. :laughtwo: I'll put her up for contention in the new year. Did you see I got CBD Mango? I mean, how beautiful was that? :slide: That seed will definately see soil this next year.

Way too many for me to grow, but then amassing them for myself was never the intent. Give me a barn or better yet a greenhouse and I may be able to make a decent dent, but something tells me the universe has determined that SweetSue should never be without seeds. :laughtwo:

The Huckleberries, huh? What makes them so special that you'd covet them, my friend?

Happy shatter day Sue. :hugs:  :hugs:

G13 haze has been on my wish list for a while, I'll get there one day. So many strains, so little space.
Keep an eye on the barney's pineapple express, I had 3 for 3 come up male.

:passitleft:

Noted. :high-five: I figure let Hash Hound grow the G13 and then I get a taste without the work. :laughtwo: Maybe a clone too. You never know. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Good grief! I’ve been meaning to pop over to share congratulations for many days and then I turn around and there are 3 things to congratulate you on. You go girl! You rock!

First I want to celebrate your +3oz harvest .. Super You! And with the Blue Dream, how very perfect ;)

Secondly, on the installation of your new tent. Things are really cruising along for you now eh! Give us all more and more to enjoy
:circle-of-love:

And finally- goodness what a seedbank you have grown there :slide: - got any spare Blue Dream .?
I nearly fell out of bed laughing when you found a stray pack on your sock! I wonder if I should check my socks... .

I’ve been laying low for a while, trying to regain strength to do the update on my garden I’ve been wanting to post. Your journal here keeps a woman well entertained that’s for sure.

Wishing you everything that’s the best of what it is for you this festive season SweetSue

Oh, thank you on all counts Amy. It's been sparkly with wonder around here lately. Lol! It's been a while since I broke 2 oz. To get past 3 made me squeal with delight and do a little dance in the kitchen. :laughtwo: I once had a Dark Devil Auto that gave me 4 ounces. I remember thinking "This is the way it's meant to be." :cheesygrinsmiley:

The tent feels so right. I have a quick and impromptu review of it coming up below. Now I have four dedicated flowering spaces, three of which are in tents. That'll open up the closet so I can get back to growing my autos. I keep thinking an apartment dedicated to a grow space would be nice. Lol!

The seed bank is a wonder Amy. I recall in my first year, after I won the first MOTM contest, a member responded with an offer to buy me $100 worth of seeds from any seed bank I chose. It was the beginning of an unending stream of seeds from all directions. From the start it's been more than I'd ever be able to grow, so I figured I was a holding spot for the majority.

I'll admit, looking at the list is incredibly humbling. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

You share a lot Sue, but I didn't know you were into cordage!
Sorry, juvenile mind at play here ...

Peace
Keith

:laughtwo: As a matter of fact....... Lol!

Wow what an amazing amount of variety you have in seeds! Go big or go home right?

That seems to be the universal message dom. :laughtwo: Of the entire list I believe I've paid for maybe 10%.

An Impromptu Product Review: Mars-Hydro grow tent

I now have three of the 27"x27" grow tents by Mars-Hydro. The recent purchase is the one on the left. The other two were purchased in February of 2016.

IMG_70309.JPG

I paid essentially the same price for the new one, but let me tell you, the quality of the recent purchase is head and shoulders above the previous ones.

We know the light is on because it's leaking out of the open side panel near the floor.

IMG_702011.JPG

Where I don't see it is leaking through the zipper, one of those things we accepted with the lower price point. They may not have been light-blocking, but they blocked enough to get by without concern.

I see no light leaking out at all, do you? The lights are already out in the other tents or I'd be able to show you side by side. The older tents leak light all along the zippers.

IMG_702211.JPG

This new model also comes with a window at the top of the flap.

IMG_70238.JPG

No light leak from there either.

IMG_702410.JPG

On the right side there's a strap with a loop to attach to. I haven't determined the purpose of this strap yet....

IMG_703212.JPG

...but OMG, am I pleased as punch to find this one over here on the left, placed conviently for tying off the flap so you can work without the thing being in the way. One of my bigger challenges is finding a way to keep that flap open. I'll be looking for a way to create this same effect on the old tents.

IMG_70297.JPG

There's also a pouch with hangers for holding equipment or supplies inside the tent. I'll find a use for it, I'm sure.

IMG_70339.JPG

The fabric itself is a sturdier manufacture. New on the left, old on the right. The zippers are more solid too.

IMG_70317.JPG

That waffle surfacing is repeated on the interior walls.

IMG_70257.JPG

The result is a brighter interior.

IMG_70268.JPG

Happy, happy Malawi. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

IMG_70278.JPG

I'm mighty impressed with the overhaul and their ability to hold down price while they dramatically improved quality. Before they were a compromise, because I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I also wanted to support a sponsor of the site.

Now I can recommend them as a high-quality investment at a reasonable price. Well done Mars-Hydro. :bravo:

High Sue and good evening. :passitleft:
That is one heck of a seed bank you have amassed there.:reading420magazine:
It would take me a lifetime to run thru a third of those beans.
Congrats and happy birthday wishes.:hugs::hugs:

Good evening Stage. :passitleft:

Yeah.... It'd take me a lifetime to get them planted and harvested too. :laughtwo: Obviously, the universe intends I pass them along. I'm good with that.

1:33 AM and I'm tumbling through a delicious Blue Dream universe.

I don't know about you, but when I sit down with the intention of catching a buzz it's an all or nothing journey to free fall. :laughtwo:

Tonight I determined to start smoking Blue Dream and keep going until I couldn't smoke any longer. Half an hour later, and some minor distractions that keep getting in the way and I'm still at it. Lol!

A top-shelf chemovar. I can see how it's become a favorite. I haven't enough experience yet to determine what it is that I'm finding so enjoyable, but I have time to play. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I mistakenly left the jar sealed with the bag of rice inside overnight and when I got up this morning and remembered it the hygrometer was reading 30%. :laughtwo: I tossed in a large Boveda and left it alone. Last I checked they were sitting at about 55%. By morning they'll be stable.

IMG_70354.JPG

What I wasn't expecting was the terpene blast when I opened the jar to give everything a stir a couple minutes ago. The large jar is wonderful for getting a harvest stable. I was anticipating that grassy smell you get the first day or two in the jar, but not so with this girl. My whole body did a "Wow!" when it hit. The Jamaican is like that. I look forward to the daughter needing a refill so I can get a lungful of the terps when I open the storage jar. :laughtwo:

Hold on, another hit........ Haha! It was already loaded. I forgot it was there. :laughtwo:

I'll be back. Need to focus. I'm trying to see if I have a limit.

....... Maybe I won't be back tonight. :laughtwo: If this works, and I do have a limit, I expect it'll put me to bed. Lol!

:ciao:

Ooooo.... That's beautiful Hyena. :battingeyelashes: I haven't done a Christmas one yet. Inspiration'll hit soon. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Good afternoon everyone

I've been baking cookies for sharing and getting together goodies for a small celebration that'll go on for the rest of the day and into tomorrow. :slide:

Oh, look! Day 15 and CBD CC 2.7 finally burst forth in flower! :yahoo: :yahoo:

I feel kinda bad, having her in the closet instead of a tent, but she's a test case in a couple ways. I have another coming up right behind her, and one more behind that one. It frees me up to experiment. She looks mighty happy to me. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Be boldly joyful today my friends. Grab all the hugs you can and let that atmosphere of unconditional love you've so carefully cultivated bless the lives of those lucky enough to know you.

Merry Christmas Eve everyone. :hugs:  :xmas:

Passing to the left....... :passitleft:

Merry Christmas Sue!

:laughtwo: Thank you Doc. :hugs: Celebrating are we? I'm smoking my finest, and I assume you're doing the same. Have a wonderful day filled with love and laughter.

SweetSue, you have taught me a great deal. I have been able to look back and laugh.

Yesterday was the first time I used joy in a sentence, allowed myself a moment of unstolen, free flowing, non-apologetic, happiness for how far I have come. I looked around and thought for sure you must be close by, putting words into my brain. Because I don't use that word at all, it's like the middle finger from my past. A sid vicious reaction to organized chaos on a shopping day for commercial buyers.

But, I think you have found a crack in my shell and you are projecting Leonard Cohen rays on my seedling for a brain. Now I'm growing, and enJOYing the miracles that are happening around me, and for others. I feel like I found my calling. This xmas has been one of the best and I will remember it always. I'm happy to be spending it with you here.

Your xmas themed picture is quite homey. Cheers to an oil slickin' mega holly-daze!. ;):thanks::Namaste:

MERRRRRRYYYYYY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! Huggggssssss:volcano-smiley:

I want to wish you a Merry Christmas, SweetSue. Also nice Christmas wishes to all on SweetSue's thread. You all have been great people to try to get to know.

There's nothing you could have shared that would have warmed my heart the way this one did. :hugs:

Working the med threads can be at once the most rewarding and most terrifying thing you'll experience. I find it helps to suspend the ego and allow cosmic inspiration to flow. You feel like a natural fit. You've grasped the understanding that healing isn't something you do, it's something you allow. We're blessed to have the wonders of cannabis to assist us as we learn the gentle art of allowing.

I look forward to years of collaboration with you. :green_heart:

Merry Christmas Sue!

Merry Christmas Pennywise. :hugs: Fill the day with love until you can't keep going anymore, then sleep like a new babe in the arms of satisfaction. Have a wonderful day.

I want to wish you a Merry Christmas, SweetSue. Also nice Christmas wishes to all on SweetSue's thread. You all have been great people to try to get to know.

A hearty Merry Christmas to you and yours Bode. This is a most delightful community of like-minded folks. We kinda steamroll you with love when you show up new. Makes us a little addictive. Lol! I look forward to the next year of getting to know you better. :hugs:

Time for some Christmas music and Blue Dream. :slide:
