There's no cannabis for the first two days, I believe, and then you begin to gently reintroduce. I may be able to get the same results by simply avoiding cannabis for three days. There's so much stored in my cells that I'll continue to be euphoric that entire time anyway. Lol!

Remember the 7 weeks without in Pheonix, back in 2015? I was still slightly buzzed for almost two weeks in. :laughtwo: As someone who refers this technique to others it won't hurt to re-experience the entire protocol. I'll learn something new every time through, and my tolerance levels will be back to reset. I'm thinking this close to the holidays, maybe hold off until after New Year's celebration is done and over with. I'll probably overindulge all the way up to the drop of the ball in Times Square.

I just noticed that I slept until 10:30 this morning. No wonder I'm so hungry. :laughtwo: Let me rustle up some food and get out into the sunlight.

I'm enthralled. You wouldn't believe how many times I'm walking by and step in to get lost again. :dreamy: Smells strongly of berry and something with a harder edge that I haven't placed yet. I'm watching a video of a presentation by Mara Gordon of Aunt Zelda's collective in California and she was talking about how valuable Blue Dream is, if what you purchased was, in fact, Blue Dream, as advertised. Get the mislabeled chemovar and instead of delightful euphoria you can get agitation and anxiety.

Those of us out here without testing are living in faith. Grow the wrong one and you've wasted 4-6 months a needy patient may not have. It's one of those realities that pushes me to find ways to make any cannabis a useful medication for just about any patient. Terpenes can help fine-tune a regimen, but you'll get healing from cannabis no matter what. Grow a strain the patient can't inhale or ingest because of the terpene mix, and I'm gonna want another way to make that plant useful as a healing modality anyway.

In this case, I do believe the seeds MagicJim created are the terpene and cannabinoid mix anticipated, although Jim had mentioned the PineSol smell. Hmmmm.... That may be what I'm picking up. It's been gradually climbing in concentration over the past two or three days.

Oh Jim...... does this suggest I'm taking her at just the right time? :yahoo:

I'll be harvesting her on Day 56 of flower. I could go longer, but I don't care for any amber on my personal stash, and it'll be my birthday, which, to be honest, is the real reason for Friday. :laughtwo: This is such fun I may schedule a harvest every year on my birthday. :slide:
 
I was walking past the tents, on my way to my river walk, when I was compelled to stop and measure for another tent.

Just enough room to slip another 2x2 in there with space to get in and out of the closet. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I could make the closet dead storage and bump right up against it, but then what do you do when the inevitable moment comes when I need to get into dead storage, right? That'd most likely be at the point when it'd be most inconvenient to tear everything down and move it out of the way. Lol!

.....to this. No blocking of the light from the window, still able to stay stealthy. I can hang curtains up in front of them over here just as easily. I prefer the bed where the tents are now anyway. I can't abide having the air blowing across me during the hot months.

The blue dream is really looking great. Should be a wondeful holiday treat! Is she a hempy or a doc bud? Just dripping in frost!

So I have a quick question for you. If you don't mind . (And don't ask why I didn't think to ask sooner). I have a plant/ bush that was in doc buds soil (is that what they call it? Pro mix) and I up potted her to a 5 gallon homie depot hempy. Coco perlite packed in around her Pro mix/soil.

So my question is.... are there nutrients in the doc bud soil? Should I even be giving her nutes at all? I was feeding her my coco nutes and I just don't want to give her any nute burn.

Hey Dabber!

Before I run MY mouth, this is probably a better question for Doc :)

I believe Yes, there are nutrients in the Kit Soil--along with all sorts of other goodies--they come from First Run Amendment. I've never taken a plant out of Kit Soil to put into a hempy, but I would imagine that YES, at some point in the weeks after transplanting you'd want to supplement nutrients.

My special day isn't until Friday Dabber, but this is the whirlwind of my special week, and there's no conceivable way you'd be a bother. :hugs:

So.... She was in Doc's soil, and you've made her a hempy? But you kept the soil..... Oh, I get you. She was in a one gallon? Once the roots exit the soil and hit the perlite/coco mix you'll need them to find nutrients. Begin using your bottles before then so it's all saturated.

A five gallon bucket will require some creativity to get the root ball established. We've tossed around ideas like blocking the hole when you water to let it sit in the nutrient-rich solution for a bit before draining. This lets the perlite wick all the way to the top, at least initially. It'll start drying out quickly above 12". The perlite alone stops wicking efficiently after 8-12 inches. Your cocoa may make the difference there.

I've been a bit distracted lately and haven't been to Hempy Headquarters in a couple days. Are you sharing this adventure with the gang over there? :battingeyelashes:
