SweetSue's Perpetual 3.0 - The Hempy/HB Hybrid Grow

You do show your BIL more love and help than most people do their own blood, props girl. I know some of the heartache he has caused you, yet you still try to assist. May your dreams be answered!

Enjoy your new lights! It seems many folks on 420 didn't live through the 70s and 80s trying to grow indoors with lights that could cook a chicken in a couple of hours. I do remember once toasting marshmallows with sunglasses on! It's awesome how safe and easy LED technologies have made indoor growing, believe me, it was a bitch and downright dangerous 40 years ago. A major fire hazard that required substantial electricity to illuminate and cool the space ... we are so spoiled!

Peace
Keith

I missed all that growing up in a fundamental Christian church. I didn’t even smoke until I was 22, and when I walked through these virtual gates I was amazed that we could grow at home.

How far I’ve come, eh? What I see is how much more ahead there is to learn and share. :slide:

I can’t even imagine what you guys dealt with. I’ve never even been around one of those old lights. Did you manage to avoid fire growing cannabis Keith?

Oh..... I decided I really didn’t want to be growing in my bathroom anymore. That required tearing apart the library table behind the chairs I really didn’t need and making space for the tent in the living room.

Job completed, just in time for the qbs to find there way to my door. :yahoo:

I feel much better about that.

While rearranging I discovered that the folding chair with the plush cover I was using for backup seating had ripped apart underneath. I can only imagine how uncomfortable that had to be for recent company, particularly @Scottay. It was noticeable that he was uncomfortable there. My apologies my friend. :hugs:

I sit on the floor, and furniture is an afterthought. Lol! I’ll see what I can do about tracking down another, sturdier model. I’m down to one recliner and two kitchen chairs.... and the floor, of course. :battingeyelashes:

Brother in Law.

MIL = Mother in Law

Etc

:)

I thought the new system let us delete posts. :hmmmm: Rats.

I give it a month until you add more plants in the bathroom.

So how long have they had this system?

It was installed at the beginning of May. *sigh* I think we’re stuck with it as it is. I suppose we’ll learn to make it work to the best of our ability.

I overindulged last night so my eating window doesn’t open until noon today. I think it’s time for a righteous wake ‘n bake. Lol! The daughter and I are planning to go see The Incredibles 2 this afternoon and I’m trying to decide which chemovar to choose to start the ride. Lol!

That Red Diesel canary I had the other day’s been calling strongly. I may pop the bag open and pull some of the cob out to see how it hits.

Done! :slide:

I love the way the Timber Veros show off the true colors. I’ll have to set up a place to photograph the cobs over here from now on.

Now let me go and explore the euphoric wonders of fermented Red Diesel. :yahoo:

I’ll be back later. My smoke buddy just arrived. Lol!

Whoa! A devastating high. Lol! Three hits and I’m lost in the cloud of smoke swirling and dancing before my wonderous eyes, held there by the intense humidity of the rain rolling through the area.

Misty clouds of rain, creeping over the hills in ominous dark bands that fade out the landscape like a thin sheet of onion paper.

I love living here. :battingeyelashes:

Cobs..... you end up loving everything, deeply aware of our connections to all that is and wrapped in a warm universal hug. I’ve been giving thought to the way cannabis connects you to the cosmos. In conversation yesterday the daughter mentioned her fascination with a subtle shift in her perceptions, mostly a moderating of her fear response, that’s been gradually evolving as she’s progressed through her cannabis regimen and learned to appreciate euphoria.

Almost as much as her mother. :battingeyelashes: The girl makes me proud. When her partner returns from Los Angeles after being gone longer than a month he’ll find a woman a bit more resistant to smoking in the bathroom to spare him the smell. A month of smoking freely in your own home does something to your sense of freedom. It cements it. This may be interesting for the lad.

They’ll be so thrilled to be back together it may take a couple days to come up in conversation. Lol!

Sidebar.....the daughter wanders through reddit and the abundance of sub forums and recently she came across a fascinating one on Trees where people were sharing photos of their boxes.

That’s when we realized that we both have the same storage style - out in the open.

Hey guys! Quick question..what is the typical change in wt through the curing process? So for example..if you put 2 oz in the cob at appropriate moisture level how much do you have 2 months later? Ball park. And how does that compare to the typical dry wt after a couple months of jar curing? Thanks in advance.

The problem I’m having is that I consume the cobs as they cure, and I didn’t keep close weights on the first run, but I’d think the cobs are coming out ahead in the weight game.

That’s an excellent question for the cob thread. Mind swinging through and dropping it there? :battingeyelashes:

10-15% Mr Magoo. Depends of how loaded it is with trichomes. Drive-by Keepem Green

If you’re meaning the new website platform for the forum, it was late February that it changed over... I’m pretty sure. So it’s been quite some time now. :hmmmm::nomo:

Man I feel for ya. I've only dealt with sciatica on a few occasions. Old neurosurgeon told me back last century to walk 45 minutes a day. It made sense. It worked while I was committed to walking regardless of weather. Not so much today as I've gotten lazy and back is not worse but I still get a lightning bolt every now and then just to remind me. cheers :bongrip:
