SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

Anyone know any breeders? I was wondering about mixing two strains into a new one. During the years I have grown many big-bud plants from seed. I kept the most special one of them as a clone. Big-Bud #3 - Purple pheno. I love the colors during bloom. Take a look!

Now I have this beautiful White Widow plant with buds that's completely covered in brown threads. I was wondering if I mix these - How big is the chances I will end up with some purple/brown plants (expressing both these plan't fine qualities)

Here's the White Widow I'm wondering about crossing with big-bud

White Widow #3

sue nothing like freshly washed buds i just got on your journal in time to see that juicy girl of yours that thing looks sticky as heck, and i have tried the refer method and i love it but my problem was i used the refer in the garage and the smell was emitting from the garage i had glade air freshners all around lol!

have nice day!

Here's how the lineage would end up after breeding these two together. Quite a nice list. Big parts of the world represented. I do have a feeling this could become a cool strain. Since I'm the DeVil I have to name it Devil's Widow.

WWxBB was one of the first plants I grew in my new digs...it was also the biggest yielder to date. Unfortunately, life got in the way toward the end of flower and I lost most of it to mold. I think they were free seeds by Female Seeds Co.

I want to make a pink/brown version :) The parents I have selected is selected for their appearance, not their yields. But initially it will be the same mix as the one from Female Seeds Co. It's a very good combination I hear so really a perfect candidate to be the first breeding project.

Ever the curious scientist, eh DeVille? :battingeyelashes: Breeding isn't something I've the courage or patience for yet. I like watching from the sidelines though.

Well, I'm sitting down for the moment, so let me get this post up.

Harvest Wrapup: CBD Critical Cure 2.2 (Day 111, Flip + 71)

350 grams wet, on the money. :cheesygrinsmiley: The equivalent of 2.5 oz dry. I appear to be getting better at the craft. :blunt:

The apical cola was a beautiful beast.

Combined with 437.5 ml of organic, non-GMO extra virgin olive oil she turned into a delicious and potent fresh harvest infused oil.

IMG_83298.JPG

Before squeezing the hell out of the plant material and reclaiming what I could with a pot of boiling water. The first squeezing always ends with me licking the oil off my hands. :cheesygrinsmiley:

IMG_83306.JPG

After said process of reclaimation. I'm good with that. :battingeyelashes:

IMG_83327.JPG

Leave no cannabinoid behind. :laughtwo: Cleanup had me blitzed. Lol!

IMG_83343.JPG

One more jar of stock. This one will hold us for a while.

IMG_83353.JPG

She was easy and undemanding, accepting her accelerated leap into flowering with casual joy. Frosty as hell, wasn't she? She made good oil. I'm floating on a cloud of her making right now. :battingeyelashes:

Her followup is already a week into her own flip. Only 64 days to go. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I dunno man... looks like you're just warming up to me.
I see you like digging up a $2 word on occasion... let's review a definition shall we?

hmmmmm....

Officially, the definition is "relating to or denoting an apex". Seems to me that calling any given point in any given action/knowledge/thing/whatever an "apex" would by definition include no further growth in whatever.
Nice bud, but I'd bet the apex is a shade further down the path... as always seems to be the case, but that's a different bit of dime store philosophy.
Walk on little lady... and impress us further in all the ways you do so well!

Apical, like acme, represents the ultimate AT THAT POINT IN TIME. It does not preclude further growth in the future.

Acme corporation products were the best possible solution until Coyote actually used them, at which point they were revealed to no longer be the best :)

Good morning everyone.

Today is hempy H2O day. I opened the early bloom tent to pull out Candy Cane and paused.

CBD Critical Cure 2.1.1 hasn't had a drink in over a week. This strain never ceases to impress me with its drought resistance. I'm waiting for her to wilt before I start the round of drenches in bloom. She looks like at least another couple days.

IMG_83384.JPG

Time to make some changes. Candy Cane went into the finish bloom tent.

IMG_83395.JPG

Ultra Dawg got flipped. I'll take a clone cutting after my coffee and conversation group.

IMG_83406.JPG

Oh look, after a week she's decided to start setting blossoms. :yahoo:

IMG_83426.JPG

Carnival 4.1 got the bump under the 3500K lighting in the tiny closet.

IMG_83435.JPG

It's intriguing to compare the two. Devil's Carnival has the leaf traits of the Carnival with the darker hues throughout that you see in the DDA.

IMG_83454.JPG

They both have that sweet new growth that reminds me of the headdresses of can can dancers. :laughtwo:

IMG_83476.JPG

I'll be transplanting and starting new seeds later. Until we next meet may I suggest you take the opportunity to be extra-special joyful as the continent celebrates independence in two nations this extended weekend. Be safe my friends. I want everyone in possession of all their digits at the end of festivities. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Back from my conversation cafe' with a cute gift. One of our members plays with origami, and she's been trying to find something that would resemble a cannabis leaf to surprise me with. Today she brought her best attempt with her. Keep in mind the woman has never seen a cannabis leaf in real life.

Wasn't that the sweetest thing? I took along a small jar of pain cream for another member who suffers the pain of bone-on-bone in her right knee. Hopefully the cannabinoids will bring her some relief. It's hard for me to stand by knowing someone I care for is in pain without offering help.

Before I left I had another request for some cream. I'll need to get a couple other plants going here to keep up. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Whoa..... what a day in the garden! :thedoubletake: I think I'll wait until tomorrow to plant the Jamaican seeds. I'm about gardened out at the moment. :laughtwo:

So....... Let's take a stroll through and see the many changes, shall we? SweetSue's been playing in the dirt. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Started led off by reclaiming the soil from yesterday's harvest.

IMG_83543.JPG

Then I moved on to transplantation, starting with Devil's Carnival, who got upgraded from five to ten gallons and was treated to a TransWater drench. I had to stake her in the end. She's gonna be a beast in flower. :slide:

IMG_83558.JPG

Next up, it's time to get Carn 3.1 and CBD CC 2.2.1 into their finish pots. They each went from one gallon of soil to seven and each got a TransWater drench as well.

IMG_83606.JPG

Last, but not least, I took a cutting from Ultra Dawg.

IMG_83635.JPG

IMG_83643.JPG

Thunderstorms just blew into the area. It's so cool to be up here above the rest of the community and watch these storms move into the valley. It's coming down pretty good out there. I'm sure glad I'm home for the day. :battingeyelashes:

This is a good time for a bite to eat and some visiting of the yards. I get so focused on the gardening the hours fly by, and somewhere in that frenzy lunch got completely missed. Now the stomach is growling.

Gosh, this was such a fun day. :laughtwo: I certainly hope you're having as much fun as I am. :hugs:

Looks nice Sue! Again, exotic and tropical! But I'm also jealous because I love thunderstorms! We rarely have them over here in the Netherlands. I aldo bought 10 Dutch Passion Blueberry regular seeds and 10 Hollands Hope regular seeds. Now I can start breeding like Feral and create insane strains! like Northern Berry or Mr, Bean's Delight!

Mr Bean's Delight has a nice ring to it rik. :cheesygrinsmiley: Holland's Hope is a strain Pigeons champions. May it strike you as profoundly as it does him.

Maybe breed some seeds and send it over to you guys... Who knows! Well, if I start a seedbank then I'll call it Cats N' Lizzards. Why? Because cats and lizzards are cute. And first I'll try to cross the Blueberry with a Northern Lights autoflower. Call it Northern Blues and then cross that one with a Hollands Hope anf call it Mr, Bean's Delight. I do have some crazy things in mind.

Well there ya go. :high-five:

You should share this success story with Lembatoast. He'd be so thrilled to see another member using his eccentric technique. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'm finishing up my day with a few hits of Hash Hound's Chem Dawg. Mmmmm.....mighty tasty. This is some of the tastiest I've come across. I'm going down fast. Lol! The eyes won't stay open anymore.

Thanks Hash Hound. :hugs: Mmmmmm..... a pleasant, long-lasting aftertaste.

 Dozed off there. Lol! Goodnight.

I stand corrected in the most interesting way. Fun. My English teacher sister would support your efforts of technical accuracy.
Then again, it sure can be fun to bend definitions to one's needs and hope nobody notices....

It's fun to watch your gentle introduction of the subject into your group. I can only think it will expand significantly as time goes by and the members become more comfortable with the subject.
