SweetSue's Hempy Haven: Powered By Timber

I do occupational therapy for a living and make little things like that for my patients pants zippers. Or take key rings and put them on the zipper allowing for the same benefit of pulling with one finger.

Amy, try attaching a pull to the zippers. I use those craft strips I use to tie the branches to the bamboo poles. I have them looped through the zippers.

A metal coat hanger, bent into a 4" circle, works even better (IMHO). You don't even technically require hands to open and close a tent with one of those, lol; you can just stick your forearm through it.

@SweetSue are you flowering under your 4000k timber? I remember when you first started this thread you were only vegging with it, but circumstances have you flowering everything now? Just curious of your results thus far because most QB's I see in journals are 3000k or 3500k or different color boards in one tent. The ones that Dan hooked me up with are 4000k, that is why I am wondering.

That question was longer than I think it needed to be... :passitleft:

You wouldn’t think such a small thing would make as big a difference as it does, but this attachment makes it much easier for me to open and close the tent. It might help you too. :battingeyelashes:
Absolutely...
Already there! This was attached the day it was set up and i realised why that prices of nylon rope had been hanging around in my room for days.

I don’t even know where it came from, but there it was, so I knitted it and looped it onto the zip. I’m a camping enthusiast form way back ;). PLus I used to be in the circus (that’s not a joke) so i’m good with tents and ropes. (Although i need to redo it and get the knitted section closer to the tab - when the new one comes)

:thanks:Thanks for the tips folks. My life is full of little aids like this all over the place. All ideas are welcome

Some things should remain private. Such as:

I prefer waxing, myself. Just not... you know... waxing myself. ;)

Goodnight, all!

3:16....might be time to call it a day. Lol!

Goodnight moon.

Shhhh...... Lol! I once lit a fire among the oilers by suggesting this was possible. In the United States they add something to ISO to make it dangerous to drink. That product isn't acceptable from a strict medicinal standpoint, but if we're being honest, most of the alcohol is purged. Use a vacuum and you get even more out. I see no reason to vilify those who prefer an ISO extraction or use it because they have no other solvent available. Use caution and purge as thoroughly as you can. Consider other extraction options.

If your immune system is compromised there are better options for cannabis medicines by infusing. An infused oil is easier to dose in small increments, an important consideration when creating a personal regimen.

Now the ISO sold in the rest of the world doesn't assume we need to be protected from consuming it and they don't pollute it with additives. It's used for extractions all over the planet. Again, there are better options available, but why deny anyone this one? Just be aware of what you're introducing into your body and make sure you're comfortable with it.

For me it comes down to your intent. Who's this being made for and what's the intended delivery system? My preference is infusions. So easy to work with and the carrier oils add medicinal value. Win/win. :slide:

Thanks for that. It was what I had thought so was surprised to see it being used with such great success. Something I should steer away from myself, clearly :battingeyelashes:

I was thinking of a recreational extract, for use in my new VB11pen.
I need to make some hash - I might need the nephew for that.

:Namaste: Sue

I'm kinda a kiss guy

Keep is simple stupid Chris

If yer zipper has light leaks, just drape a blanket or sheet over the front. Lift it up, un zip, fondle yer girls, zip it up, drop the sheet, move on with life

But that's me

Hahaha! That’s exactly what I have set up with the curtains.

Of course, I don’t go in there to fondle the girls when the lights are off, which is when there’s a threat of hermaphroditism.

Good morning everyone

I’m off to lunch with the seniors. I’ll be back in a bit for more fun. :ciao:

I have zipper light leaks similar to your pics, Sue. Not entirely sure why only one plant hermed (Hermie bag seed) but all of my others showed no signs of light stress. The room always has ambient light and we go in and out of the room switching on and off the ceiling light carelessly. Perhaps dumb luck...

:thumb: I did actually consider this but it isn’t a practical solution for me - some things aren’t so easy.

Also - it isn’t just the zip - it’s the panels and most of the stitching. And the general lack of build quality makes it demanding to manage - so those combined are enough for me to justify sending it back. Bud thanks for the suggestion :) If it was only the zip, I would get someone to help me out getting something like the together.

...from my perspective, keeping it simple is getting a quality tent that I don’t have to f* around with in any extra ways ;) (and what sounds simple to some may not be simple for everyone). This one was more costly than others, including mars, so I’d expected much better than it is.

I’m sure the right one will arrive in time!

Good morning Sue n all - thanks for the healing hugs Sue :hugs::hugs: did you sleep?

Yes I did Amy, and good morning to you. :hugs::hugs: Slept a full 5 plus hours. I’ve already been to lunch and had coffee and cannabis with the daughter.

I just wounded myself by dropping a screwdriver into my bare big toe while sorting through a drawer of small tools, forcing me to hold off on drenches a bit while the cannabinoids do their thing. I’m stretched out on the floor getting ready to pull the DDA out. :battingeyelashes:

Hope your day is offering less painful ways to appreciate the healing potential of cannabis. Lol!

You are a trip, Sweety! :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:
