SweetLeef's Gone Muy Loco! Tijuana EbbnFlow - 4 Autos in Supersoil

I know that problem all to well. My last grow was busting out of the cabinet. :goodjob::MoreNutes:

It's really fun having a plant this big :)

I hear you brotha. I'm doing hydro this second go around too. The growth rate is amazing.

You sure got a lot going on there. Great job with keeping it all going.

Thanks AllSmiles! THis grow is getting out of hand! I think I'll be alright, but there is quite a bit going on ;)

Sweet with your type of ebb and flow it would be hard to get the res. outside. But you could do an easy do it yourself E&F with a separate res that you could put outside of the tent. It could even use some of the stuff you have now like the pump and fittings. If you want I can PM you a link explaining the type of systems LA and I use.

Definitely the move is to cut the holes and keep it outside. As you saw with my grow, it can cost you 25% of your available space.
I will be moving it out for the next one, and converting it to top feed.

Man, thanks for that link! Super cool system. I will need to build myself one in the near future. I think it wont be too hard to figure out.

looks like you got a lot going on yourself Sweet :thumb:
Keep em green :high-five:

Man, I transplanted all the babies into their final homes today and my tent is full, and they are hard to get to

Alright, gonna upload some photos and it's update time :)

UPDATE TIME:::

Let's start with the little girls. Who have all received names today. And have all been moved into their final homes. #5Tall pots full of Super Soil.

Auto Blue Diesel will be known as - Crystal Gayle

Here is a look at her roots during transplant. It's the only root pic I got today. It didn't occur to me until it was too late ;)

Auto Critical will be known as - Janine

And Massive Midget, will be known as - Zelda Rubinstein

Of Course we cant forget about the twins....

and Tamera

Michelle Obama had a nice day at the salon today. Here's a couple before shots

And After
M_O_Defol.jpg

Man she's loving it! Probably a couple more limbs to tie down next week. No new training needed this week.

Princess Savina is taking her sweet time. Just like Aurora did, I think her buds may be starting to fatten up, but they haven't seemed to be doing anything for the last week or so and Aurora did the same thing :)
PrincessSavinaday66.jpg

And of course our monster girl. Rosie Cotton. The Hobbit.
She is awesome. I cant get enough of her and that's saying something because there is a lot of her :laughtwo: I think I have a plan that will lower her an inch or two. Rosies bucket is sitting on top of another bucket and lid. If I cut the top two inches off the bucket, I think the lid will fit on the next ridge down. It's worth a shot. at least. I could probably get away with 13 gallons in the res instead of 15, if need be.

Please, without further ado, Rosie Cotton

Michelle O is looking very cool, very pretty pictures ! I will need to look back at Rosie's strain. That SNS stuff worked great for me.
How are you going to process the roots and stems ? :circle-of-love:

Thanks MsBadger!

I want to try the SNS stuff, but my auto is doing so well, I don't want to mess with it. Maybe I'll try B on Princess Savina :hmmm:

As far as processing the roots and stems, I will probably just chop the roots up small and use them like trimmings. The stems I will probably dry and grind into a powder that I then add the grain spirits.

Oh, forgot to mention, I got one of those Boveda 62 packs. It's in the jar with the APwC, hopefully making it awesome!

I just checked on the ladies, and everyone looks great. Transplant was my smoothest yet! No problems whatsoever. Everyone is standing tall and proud this morning :)

Rosie has finally stopped her stretch and is starting on her buds! Man-O-War, I think she's gonna be a crazy yielder. she's got so many budsites It's gotta be decent. So excited to watch this. I will attempt to lower her a little today. I wont get her as low as the light manufacturer recommends but I can maybe keep her bud off the light :laughtwo:

Possible video update

Keep em' green y'all!

Ham-fisted SweetLeef didn't brake or bruise anything during a re-pot?? Outstanding!! I'm so proud of you!! :bravo::rofl::rofl::rofl: I LOVED the update and pictures today. You have your hands full but you are really doing a fantastic job!! Rosie is a beast! :green_heart::green_heart:

I like the name Chrystal Gayle! :thumb: The girls look so pink and happy. Michelle is looking beautifully restrained too. I always forget to do root pics until after. :goof:

Great to see your update. Been gone a while and things change fast this far along in everyone's grow.
:Namaste:
Bob ;)

I know right? I never knocked the babies off their swing, which I was actually very worried about doing. and 5 seamless transplants in a row! It feels so good when things go well. All the girls have gotten bigger in their new pots!

Keep up the good work!:yummy:

Thanks TH, I will certainly try to keep it up!

Great Update Sweet love them Roots :thumb:

Thanks Chron! I waited until the right time I think. My last grow the transplants had way less roots and it was much scarier. I feel like we could play catch with one :laughtwo:

Thanks Bob! It's nice to see you back around these parts. It is fun to see how far everyone's gotten while you are away, but some people journals can be quite intimidating in a couple days let alone a week or more

I checked Princess Savina's trichs with the usb micro last night and I think she's got another month left. I think I will nip the tips and backbud her tonight. If nothing else it makes for a nice little sample :)

Looking good my friend. Happy backbuilding :) :)

Thanks Light! Just gotta smoke this weed and it's time to get out the snips!

Looking good!!! I can only hope my plant looks half as good :)

:laughtwo: Thanks Jade, that's very kind. I have no doubt your ladies will be AT LEAST as pretty as mine ;)

Good morning Sweets! I just stopped by to say hello and see what was going on. I know I'm greedy, but I am ready for more pictures!

Wont hurt a thing......water an hour before you bend them.

Awesome! Thanks OMM! Now I know one thing I am doing tomorrow!!

That little fluxy is cute! Don't you think she needs some more leaves though?

Yeah, She'll have more eventually. She's just got another 2-3 months left, so if she gets more leaves now, she'll have too many come time to flip. To keep her under control, I pretty much have to drastically defol her once a week. I plan on letting her leaves go the last two weeks before flip. I am hoping to fill my 5x5 tent, wall to wall with an even canopy of buds. TheCapn style, vegged even longer with a LOT of LA inspired, hardcore training, is the name of the game in this journal :)

I am still trying to wrap my head around how to turn my system Into a multi-flow system. It needs to happen. If my autos are getting Into the 4' range in hydro, It needs to happen, and soon. ;)

So, I need two timers? One for each pump? I think I would have to do that. I cant see how one timer could do that. Unless it has something to do with the way we wire the float and switch? Still a lot I don't know, that I need to lean to make my own. But I will! I will make my own Multi-flow system!

Ok I've been giving your problem some thought. Let me see if I understand your current system. It is an E&F system Capn style with your res below your plant. You have one pump on a timer that fills your outer pot until it reaches the overflow return and shuts off after a set period of time and then drains back through the pump into the reservoir.

This is a crude free hand paint drawing so try not to laugh to hard:
Current1.png

You will have to convert to top feed here is what I came up with:
new1.png

You will need a new outer bucket with a drain hole on the side. That drain will flow to a control reservoir that will have a return pump in it. You current pump will take nutrients and using the timer will give a timed top feed to the plant which will drain to the control reservoir which has the return pump which will return it to the main reservoir. Both of which can be outside the tent. The only issue I see with this is that the return pump if started at the same time as the fill pump may drain the control reservoir and cause it to lose prime. Maybe a second timer set to come on a minute after would work. Not sure if this level of control is attainable though.
This would work, and is the way I am going to convert my system. The thing going for me is my control reservoir has some magnetic switches in it to control level so I won't have any timing issues. Maybe this can give you some ideas.
