Sweet Leaf's First Grow: WW Auto

Well you're going to need a 4" fan(look up something like vivosun) with a speed controller. The carbon filter is normally used during flower but I would wait and see if the other half minds or not. She may not mind so save the money.
Ok good idea i will wait and see. Definitely will get an exhaust fan. Thanks for bringing that up.

Ya for sure im very open to trying it. I wasnt set on the FF nutes by any means. Im easily persuaded lol
As a new grower it will be your best investment. The other nute lines have several bottles that you have to muck with. Megacrop is powder based and uses gram measurements so if you decide to go that route a small digital kitchen scale that measures in .1g is ideal and normally under 15 bux.

Oh ok i see. I thought megacrop was a soil or something. Ya for sure im very open to trying it. I wasnt set on the FF nutes by any means. Im easily persuaded lol
I'm in coast of main it's good and you dont have to do anything but water you plant. I like it cause I have nothing to worry about but watering.

Really, powder form. Im game for anything that makes life simpler. Ill will be doing my research!

Well that's not entirely correct. The image below shows when you need to start feeding in their soils. Also it's a time released soil so I never recommend those only because cannabis looks for nutes when it needs them, not when a soil decides to release it.

lol, wait 'til the lights are on and your plants start to transpire. That'll change :)

lol great, looking forward to it. I need your input on some ventilation q’s. So i was thinking of just adding a 4in booster fan for the lower vent hole to bring air in and a 6in clip on fan inside to just circulate the air. Do you think that will be sufficient enough? Or do i need to add another 4in fan to extract the air out as well? For it being such a small tent ive been reading mixed reviews. Not sure what to do!

Welcome! I'm going to follow along, if you don't mind! I'd think the fan would be better as an exhaust and leaving another vent open for fresh air. Hannah PH has been great for me. First time using one and once calibrated it is nice. What breeder on the WW? I have two going now in my journal from dinafem. They are growing nicely in my opinion.

Thank you. I dont mind at all, the more the better! Ok well thats a good idea and i dont have to fork out more $$$ if i do it that way. These are from High supplies. They actually just arrived today, yeehaw lol. I would like to do a test trial on my setup before i get these babies planted.

That's how I have my fan set up. Tent might suck in a little on higher settings though so test it out. I turned my stuff on and let it run a few days first like you say and make sure the temps and humidity look good. After that you are good to go.

My vans have all just and I meedto replace them. I've literally just posted in my journal about it...

So I've done the same as suggested to yourself... open the lower left vent for air to easily come in.. then have your fan pulling air out the top on the opposite side. This will give you a basic movement of air to keep things at bay untill you can get a fan inside (Which you will need) later on lmao..

The you will have circulating air on a constant draw. Which is the best you can provide really

The others have answered the same as I would have. There is no need imo to have a booster fan. I have a 4x4 with a 6" Infinity and the sides suck in as well. This helps with smell IF you decide to use a carbon filter. The round opening at the bottom(mine is 8" diameter opening) I place a long piece of flex duct, maybe 5' in length with some type of filter at the opening. This allows the fresh air to come in at the bottom while filtering the air and keeping the light out. Many use the passive intakes(the rectangular flaps) but to me it let's a lot of light in. By using the flexible duct you can run it long enough to keep the light out if your area around the tent is bright.
If you can, mount the fan outside the tent and suck the air out from the top. By keeping the fan outside it will help reduce the temps inside the tent and give you more working room.

Exactly... If it don't need to be in there.. have it outside. Especially anything electrical that produces extra heat
