Sunni - a Pheno? Clone

Hi Horse, yah we took clones from our original (bag seed) seeded plants, tossed all the males clones when the original plants presented, and continued to take some clones. Sassy is the last clone of the S plants, We also had an A group. Annie was the last, let her go to long and she threw some nanners, never got amber. I do have 2 seeds from Alice and flowers(nanners) from Annie... might pollinate Sassy with that in one small area. Would not mind experimenting just for fun!!
But the real plan is to start some kush seeds after the Nov 15th. And pray for a female, of course will clone.

We got it shipped 200lbs. Was Perma guard brand. You can buy 1 pound on ebay or from some of the companys online. I would have to look up the rescues paper work to see who I bought it from. I was thinking Texas...????? We put it on the dogs, fed it to the dogs, put it in there dog houses, spred all over everywhere. Even in the house.

I finished putting Sunni in a jar tonight. Took a few photos. Just popcorn buds, but it will be tasty. Wish the pics were better.

Those are beatufil looking buds I wish my journal was getting as much activity but it has been boring as It goes all thru veg and all but my room full of sativas have finally stopped stretching but I got this one nice plant that I actually found out on a walk and didnt want to fuck up anyones grow so only took a small cutting and now it looks like this 17 days into flower,

I almost think I might have found a white widow someone was growing outdoors.
 
Wow Cat that is a beautiful plant! That is gonna be far better than little Sunni. Our big hopes are with Sassy now. Clone of Sunni. She has just started to flower. We did top her a few times and hope she does not stretch as much.

We took clones off an on for awhile so had occasional harvest and flowering.
 
I would suggest you give your plant lots of bondage Like I did I just bent it over and kept tying down the tops untill it was over laping the entire 3 gal pot it was in and it was only 8" tall but 14" across and then put it to flower it only stretched to 20 inches so far.
 
hi tmac, one suggestion on sassy keep the cfl tight (1 to 2 inches) along with tying mabe she won't stretch as much,your buds look great,looks like you dipped mthem in sugar.:rollit::grinjoint:

Hey HH, We tried a small bud from Sunni last nite. Hubby said it was much smoother than the the "A" group he has been smoking. I thought it was tasty too!

Had to raise one of the lights this morning, she grew right into it last nite!! trying to keep them close though..

Hey HH Always feel free to make suggestions, help keep me on my toes!! We kept the lights a little high the first day or so we put her in the flower room. Before that she had floro lite.

Heck I cant remember most times why I went upstairs!! (see para above) Get side tracked easy! Hubby looses his beer alot, cup of tea, pipe! We laugh alot about that!! I just know when he has lost something watching him, he hates to tell me coz I usually find it for him.

We walked out to our woods today picking up kindling as we went, walking down the way I look over and say "what is that??" He said "what?" I said "that!" I then said "dont you see that pot plant???" Here sat a 9" plant. Still green despite snow and freezing temps. About 3 little tiny sugary buds. He said "Now I remember, forgot all about her, closet got too crowded, she wasnt doing as well, so put her out here".

Not sure where this is going!!
Now... we had solar (outside), who begat solar girl and sunni, sunni begat sassy

Alice begat annie, abby, amy, we have seed and pollen from Alice.

Ms Alice Bagseed, produced nice sugary big colas, more compact, threw nanners very late in growth, never really got amber.

Ms Solar Bagseed, stretched alot, super resins, took longer, small harder popcorn buds, better taste, never got amber, but harvested all earlier than would have liked due to reasons. freeze, bugs.

I would like to fert Sassy (on one bud if possible) with some of Alice, just for an experiment to get some seed. Because of the records/photos I have on both thought it would be interesting to mess around with later on.
Now we grow only for ourselves, are retired, :) What do you think??

Personally I think I would make a cfl chandalier down into the middle of that girl and a few halfway down the outside as well if you can fully light the top 2/3 of that plant fully I would estimate that you would need 4 23 watt bulbs hung down into the middle of those branches and surrounding that top in the center and then about 6 bulbs around the outside of it about 12 inches below the canopy and you could actually get 3+ ounces from that beauty I know if I could toss her under my 1000w for you it wouldnt be unconceivable that it could yield over 6 ounces. At the very least you should consider getting one of those cfl reflectors that are designed to hold 2 125w 6500k bullbs and 1 300w 2700k CFL bulbs then build your present bulbs into chandeliers that will light the outside of the plant halfway down and for the small price of around 150$ you will increase your yield by leaps and bounds .

Hi Tmac ,pretty funny about forgetting the girl out side,did you try to salvage her?

It would be interesting to see you produce some seeds,good luck on that endeavor .I have been retired for 5 yrs now,haven't grown indoors up until a year ago.Between fishing and growing,keeps me out of trouble.lol

Thanks HH, we dried her and put her in the leaf bag for later goodies. Will have to figure out when is the best time to pollinate her.

Getting ready to leave for the weekend. Going to see Zonkaraz at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester. Back home on Sunday. We are raising the lites on Sassy a little. Gave her a good watering. Here is a few new pictures!!

A photo update on Sassy! She did okay while we were gone. But glad we came home coz Monday morning she was touching bulbs. Moved them real quick!!!!

Looking good there Tmac. Ever thought of a reflector for those 10 CFL's?

If they are 27 watts each and you have 10... easy math here people

270watt CFL reflector from dimpled aluminum would kick some ass and bring all of that upward light right down in your garden. You would be think you had 20 by the way they will spurt. I'm working on a reflector now for my 6 but may upgrade to 10 now that I see this and also getting another 400 watt HPS/MH combo soon for the veg room.

I know we both like the CFL's because you can hang em anywhere and get the lower leaves some light to increase yield, but the canopy is the most important part to focus on. Just my opinion of course and you will know best for what you want to accomplish.

Hi Herb, I have 10 - 26 watters. Also have one reflector on the floor we move around some. So that makes eleven total. I have white paper plates for reflectors on the hanging lites. Are you making your reflectors?? If so how??? We should get more of those at least. I will check the hardware stores.

Started the kush seeds yesterday.

Our power company is giving out 15 free CFL's!!
 
Go to the power company website, thats how I found out. They may give them out eventually. Promotional write off for them, I am sure!! Good for everyone else.
 
I will share my build with you...

All you need is a large diameter circular air duct as the reflector and a separate piece for the ends that be bent in to shape.

A simple version can be found here but we want bigger...

I saw a version of this on 420 somewhere and the guy used plywood half circles for the ends for stability and attached his lights like that so they sit horizontal.
