That's young Lucy to the left.

From left to right: A BulBul, some Brazilian Sparrows, a Dove and a couple of Cardinals.
Maybe two minutes? :)

YUP looks like tis the season to hook the snow plow up to the ol ridding lawnmore.:bravo:

Hey Turttle, We got a new riding mower, but need to get a snow plow!! Darn, it might be something we want to get. Our elevation lets us get snow more often than the folks down the mountain.

Wow there are some birds I have never seen!! They would be a little cold here...Think it got up to 10 yesterday. My cardinals dont look like that! Love it! Took that picture of the bird thru my bathroom window without the flash. A dark eye junco. Love watching the birds here.

Young Lucy is looking fine today!

AHHHH!! Tmac I am so jealous! I want snow so badly.

:grinjoint: Come on down!! I am sure further up the mountain they probably got a foot or 2~~ We have learned since moving here that they are levels to where the snow happens. Since we are near 8-10 degrees different than town.

Yea, it sucks because I can walk out my door and throw a rock into the ocean so snow won't stick here for a little bit.

Guess I'm an oddball but I've always loved the snow. Grew up in upstate NY, when it started snowing I'd start shoveling, get to the end and start all over. I was little then and no way I could do it if I waited for all 2-3 feet to fall.

I have great memories of being out at night with the quiet and those huge snowflakes. Then that damn plow would come by lol! I couldn't even use a snow shovel to get through that wall, had to break out the dirt shovel.

Seriously though we'd have forts in the snowbanks that would be there for months... we'd make them huge!

At my current secret location, winter is just a pain. Enough snow to be annoying but not fun. Cold, grey, slush... ugh.

Wow thats some crazy snow! We have been getting a ton of snow flurries but nothing to crazy just yet. Last year in 2 days we got 3 feet of snow! It was crazy and that happened every few weeks it was impossible to clear the roads!

Anyway all your plants are looking great!!! Looks like there will be a ton of bud to harvest soon enough!

Here are some new pictures of Sassy. She is in about day 46 of flower, but has battled fungus gnats for quite awhile. It is unfortunate because I think she would have produced much more than will happen now. She has started growing again and is putting on some weight and swelling a bit. Producing trichs again.

She hardly has a leaf left due to the gnats. But she is still growing! Got to replace a bulb.

Great looking buds!

Thanks J4, not sure if the new growth is showing up to others, but I can see it! She had the most potential of the S clones, just sorry she did not get to achive it.

Beautiful Buds Sassy Has Sorry about the gnats,
however she will sure be easy to trim. :)

Your little bird picture was perfect, you could just feel the cold.

Yes she will be very easy to trim :) at least there is some advantage~~

I love watching the birds. I actually want a camera like my sister has.... with a long lens... but we are talking major bucks. I was with her when she was shopping for a new lens... $500 :yikes::biglaugh: Sorta cant justify that~ maybe someday. Saw my first indigo bunting last spring.

Yep, love the birds too!;)

We made a mistake with the Brazilian Sparrows. We thought that they were so cute. Little did we know that they are social birds. Next day 8 showed up and then 16 and then.........I would say we feed 500 a day now! We are trying to figure out how get rid of them all. :thedoubletake::yikes::yikes::yikes::thedoubletake:

Oh, yes we have a chicken too.....just showed up one day......last year a duck!
Took 3 of us to take him to the canal 2 blocks away. He was big and didn't want to leave! :grinjoint:

What you do with the sparrows is you get a sparrow house a big one and put the food there once all the sparrows move in go out and place 1 stick of dynamite inside the house with a wired detonator and wait till night time once they are all in hit the button no more sparrows. :tokin:

Or seriously there is a way of moving unwanted birds like these by using a sparrow house that is attached to a large 10" flexible pipe and a high power vacuum and they seriously suck them all out into a holding box that is padded it stuns the birds but for the most part doesnt do them any harm and its funny as hell to see the looks on there little faces when they arrive in the box they have a classic what the fuck moment look on there faces.

Sounds like OMM goes thru more birdfood than I do! Hey Cat not sure he has a place to take them, that is far enough away~ unless he wants to send them on the boat!
