 I have no idea how they get their hands on the stuff, but I have heard it works. Collecting coyote urine sounds like something that should be shown on Dirty Jobs.

High Smokey,

We have deer and coyotes... one local ag store had coyote pee on sale for $1/bottle...nobody but deer will buy it anymore... they use it for cologne :grinjoint:

Actually, we have good luck with a stuff called Deer Off... just costs $100 gal.

:peace:
I was watching a show where the guy put deer off on him and well the deer did get off.lol sorry for the dirty humor:rofl:
They seem to know a gun when they see one.I would stick a scare crow outside with a shotgun lol.:bong:

Here is Sassy, so far gnat free, and with new growth.

Looking good, those are some crazy buckets you have you plants in. Nice looking snow you have there. Do you have to shovel yourself out when you go somewhere. Don't get any snow here. Its been in the low 80's and not a cloud in site. Anyway great job...

Thanks for stopping by sonzor! Those buckets are wearing white panty hose, queen size. Did not know what to do with the legs so wrapped them around and tied them. :grinjoint:

We are retired and unless desparate, just hang out til we can drive. Try to make sure we have everything we need. Hubby got stuck half way up the driveway coming home today. He went to the xmas jam last nite. Stayed over. Actually about a mile down the road they probably dont have any snow. About a mile above us, they will have double what we have. I think those photos of the snow flakes are pretty!

Hey Smokey & Herb, see my sassy has new growth!! I am soooo happy! Proves they can come back from a lot of problems!

Now there is a use for white panty hose! :cheertwo:

Glad the gnats are gone or at least hiding, they know they don't have chance now! ;)

Beautiful snow shots.....even the flakes! :)

Thanks OMM :) should have seen me there at the store, beige or suntan..:hmmmm: then I spotted the white... thought that would show the little buggers up better... also maybe reflect some lite as well... win win situation:cheertwo:! Also the way they fit over the top of the buckets, if I had to I could put a paper plate there to keep the flying gnats away from the soil. I know little reasons, but you never know if it will help!

Gnat patrol did not see anything to worry about today!! :wood::wood: They are either hiding or have flown the coop!

Hubby says we got 6 or more inches. Still snowing off and on. Got a few pictures while I was out bringing in more wood. Will put them on later. And this time we may have to :straightface:shovel:straightface:.... daughter coming to visit on Wednesday...she will need to at least get in the driveway.....Hubby has a hurt shoulder :helpsmilie:....not going to be fun..

Hi Young Lady :)

I have seen folks do that. Cover the soil with a paper plate. Works.

Jo never brought in wood for us! Your some girl! Oh! I see hubby hurt!;)

we once lived in NJ (yuk) and I was recovering from surgery, so she would dig out the car, then come in and get warm. I was looking out the window and watched a snow plow come by and cover the car up again! :yikes::yikes:

I was on some good meds and I ran down the street and raised hell with the guy! :goof::hmmm::goof: He came back and grudgingly uncovered it!
That was just too much! :thedoubletake::thedoubletake:

Glad your critters are gone! :)

LOL yah no kidding I was in salt lake city area and them darn guys racing them snow plows up and down the street barrying everones vehicles with snow.As if a blizzard isnt bad enouph lol.Good thing I have 4 wheel drive.:blunt:
Yah good call on them stalkings to cover your ladies.Best to make sure them buggers are prevented before hand.I would even maybe take some fine mesh screen and layer it above your soil so they cant dig in to lay there eggs.We do this with outdoor rodents dont like the feel of it on there feet but im sure if you layer a few sheets you can still water and also and extra measure of knat provention.Maybe sounds good any way.:tokin:
