Summer Grow - Sativas In the Balcony

Likewise broda, I will get something going shortly I miss sharing pics/info. Until then I will keep stopping by everyones journals for some eye candy :high-five: Just got all caught up, almost about to be seeing snow over there? BrrYikes! Would be sweet to look up & see a greenhouse up on a balcony eh? ;) Sounds like you got it all planned out brotha take care of your part and the girls will do the rest :Namaste: Positive vibes as always :surf:

Its getting so cold here we might have an early snowfall in late October, this climate change is affecting everyone, short steaming hot summers with long unexpected freezing winters, there is no in-between seasons like autumn is probably a month long and spring likewise. I like the Idea of a greenhouse but I can't seem to even start a design, I feel I don't know enough about the subject. Im open for suggestions so I can't get my greenhouse running for summer next year.

Meanwhile Im already planing my winter grow/experiments, Im gonna go mad scientist on this one, Im planing a reveg on all my 4 summer plants and crossing with pollen from my last experiment to see what I get from them. Maybe throw in a couple of Indica seeds to balance up my All sativa harvest.

Welcome to stop by anytime broda.
Positive Vibrations are always welcome

After couple of days in & out of the tent, finally some decent weather, this is how they look today.
The trainwreck is not far from harvest, I'd say a good 2 more weeks... Im gonna give the others 4 more weeks, so end of October sounds good for a harvest. They are slowly fatting up and starting to develop their scent each one very distinctive smell, the Jamaican Sativa has the most powerful pungent smell, train wreck having the most sweet fruity smell.

Also I have tried 2 samples of the trainwreck and its pretty pretty darn good but It makes me think a lot LOL, can't wait to harvest my girls, they will return all the love I put in to them for the past 4 months...

At the same time today I started the germination of Blue Berry and Lemon Kush for the upcoming Winter grow thats gonna go along with my 4 current plants that will be reveg to later pollinate (Experimenting genetics part 2), so busy winter ahead.

Thanks for the kind words Bee, process is a slow process but Im happy where Im at, considering last summers fail. I feel the quality of the meds are gonna be 10 times better than the quantity but Im glad to say I managed to keep it strictly organic.

:Namaste: :thankyou: Bee as a matter o fact I did, since last week. the weather here is way to cold and humid, Im not taking any chances we have all suffered enough this season with bud rot, PM, aphids , white flies and so on... So they are all in the tent following the diminishing light schedule in accordance to the real day time, I figured it would be less of a stress because we are now below 12 hrs of light we are near 11:07 hours of "sunlight" here is avg 10 Celsius.

Thanks for the kind words, and yeah Im really in to this grow, they are really getting sticky with nice aroma and filling up the buds.

:rollit:

Buds buds buds! Happy Shatterday Dani :Namaste:

You said it broda, buds:yahoo: buds:yahoo: buds!!:yahoo: glad to see you around CA, how are things going for ya bro, waiting for your next journal :MoreNutes:

Best Vibes

:surf: Mid Month Update :surf:

After a second week in the tent they really seem to have readapted to the new environment. I've been watering every other day I let them get really dry before watering. I figured that excess fertilizer from the last foliar feeding caused the minor burns on some leaves, but they look really healthy, texture more dry and rusty. Temp in the tent is 15-20 celsius avg with a 30-60% RH at night I let the temperutarue drop as low as 10 celsius. The trichomes are still clear so Im judging harvest time by the color of the trichomes because I lost track long time ago of the flowering weeks (they started pre flowering around august, then really hit bloom in september), if they have to go until late november they go in peace :allgood: I really want to let them mature. They are just putting on a show but they fatting up is taking time, cfls can only do so much...

Calyx stacking up, lot of frosty trichs, and she is putting some final colors, I do have to be careful with bud rot on this one, the buds seem to be getting dense and the air flow is not so good. Also a lot of dust from the fans, they all need bud wash when harvest.

The Brainstorm has a lot of leaf mater but she is developing her buds very slow, think she is behind the rest like 3 weeks. But Im glad she turn out to be nice and strong, she had a hard time during veg. Also has some interesting colors.

Really amazing color and bud structure, she looks really exotic. Smells very citrus and pine. She is the one drinking the most water.

Like bud on a stick, the Jamaican has that dark green reddish leafs, with some purpleness on the stems and sugar leafs, very intense smell fruity caribbean citric hints of skunk. I also like the bud structure very dense buds like bubblegum stuck on the stems. Very frosty.

:Namaste:

I Guess this is going to be one exciting harvest. Cant wait to :rollit: some of that love invested :green_heart:
