Summer Grow - Sativas In the Balcony

Good morning weed danishoes. Grow is looking good and the flowers are starting to fill in a little. Good stuff. Happy Skunkday my friend.

Slow on the flowering transition huh?

Looking nice and green. :surf:

Yeah they are taking for ever, and the weather is not helping anymore... we just drop like 10 degrees in one week, average temperature now is between 8-15 Celsius, Im not even sure they can finish outdoors by the way things are looking we could get snow Next month... and as you can see they don't even look half way thru bloom...

Good Weed to ya Bee, yeah they are taking their time to fatten up, but my main concern is the Cold weather we are now in the low 10s and it seems we could get snow in the next weeks... If they can't finish outside they always have their little indoor bunker.

Some flower Shots.

This next two weeks the girls should start ripening, as I see more and more calyx development. Also the touch feel on the leaves is different, its not the silky glowing feeling when I touch them is more rough feeling. For now the buds are filling up little by little every day. :cheertwo::cheertwo::cheertwo::cheertwo:

Thanks Lester :thankyou: How are you enjoying the fresh buds you recently cut ??

Really enjoying them. They taste like candy and are really potent - the BB x SM that is.

Interested to try the Maui Waui when it drys, I have a feeling its gonna be more of a day time weed though, not as frosty and more floral and upbeat smelling. The one I cut came out pretty leafy so maybe next year I can grow a nicer more compact pheno.

The Blueberry is a keeper tho ;)

Crushed eggshells are an awesome source of calcium but in my experience it takes time for them to be broken down to be usable - I always put them in the cooking compost pile for next year or the year after.

Looking really good danishoes. Buds a building :passitleft:

I would enjoy very much an upbeat medication like you described Lester, thats why I choose all sativa dominants for this grow, I got enough of the indicas for a while, the entire cannabis market in the city is Indica dominants, Im looking for that day med euphoric determined etc etc...

True, but I have plans for this girls so I need all the natural supplements possible, Im planning a reveg on the plants and see what happens, I sometimes recycle the soil so the eggshells have time to break down.

Thanks :thankyou:

Good Sunday fellow Growers

Heres a close up on thing around here, 43 something pictures... Trainwreck is ahead, packing some weight and crystallizing more and more. Fruity smell and sweetness, buds aren't super dense but she still has some time to beef up. Claustrum is very Sativa so buds are very airy and spacious in between buds, she has long time to go, still not crystallizing with trichomes and calyxes seem very premature in comparison with the trainwreck. Brainstorm is also packing some weight she had a hard time during veg so Im glad to receive what ever comes out, the Jamaican Sat. is doing really nice, the purple kinda shades off in certain buds, but she has a nice coloration to it and very pungent smell like citrus skunk every time I smell it I can't really identify but its very citrus pungent, the Jamaican is slowly building up the resin and buds seem to be getting fat little by little.

Today I sprayed with the same solution for the foliar feeding and watered with half litre of plain water. I don't want to stress my babies but I wish they could explode a little more since time is running out, they have probably a month to go...

Are you planning on letting the girls finish up in the warm tent Dani? Or just fighting against the colder weather at the moment?
Over here we are starting to see colder morning and nights, plus dew in the morning, times are changing, it's going to start getting quite chilly. Your girls seem to be beastin' through and pushing out calyx/trichomes! And they are super healthy so all is looking keen for these girlies to finish up for some smoke for daddy :) Little drive by Dani, I have a couple pages to read through, til next time bud :peace:

CA broda always a joy to have you around :cheertwo: Cant wait for you to start a new journal, hope everything is smooth around your area broda.

For the ladies up north here, its getting too cold to the point that I think they were getting stunt, so Im doing the old switch in & out, around 8 in the morning girls go to claustrophobic heat and low Rh% of the tent temperatures go around 20-25 Celsius, RH% below 40%, then around 4 pm they go back to the cold windy dark night going as lo as 8 Celsius and Rh%70-80. Its a little extra unplanned stress but they gotta go thru.
I plan on repeating this until harvest.

Stay safe broda and thanks for dropping by
