Your plants are looking great, Stunger! I'm really liking the look of the Frozen Black Cherry. How many days into flower is she? What did the breeder say the average flowering time is?

Thanks HG!Your plants are looking great, Stunger!
I don't know exactly because I am always confused when one is supposed to start counting from. Some indoor folk count from the 'flip', others from when pistils show, but I am unsure if that means when the very first pistil is spotted somewhere on the stem, or when the first pompoms form at the top? When do you call the start of flowering?Stunger! I'm really liking the look of the Frozen Black Cherry. How many days into flower is she?
They give an estimate of 8-9 weeks. What did the breeder say the average flowering time is?
Pompoms for me.I don't know exactly because I am always confused when one is supposed to start counting from. Thanks Azi!Pompoms for me.
Looking great mate ,hopefully your seed production works out for youUpdate - Focusing on the Frozen Black Cherry - Buds and trichomes!
Greetings 420 enthusiasts!
This morning was nice and still with no wind/breeze so I did some selective pollination on 2 stems of the Frozen Black Cherry. She is the most advanced of the 3 trough girls and now showing browning pistils, so it's good I got my pollination attempt done today rather than leave it too late. I was surprised at how solid/hard her buds are. I think harder than any of the plants I have grown previously. I hope they'll be ok as the weather turns from Summer to Autumn/Fall. She is smelling nice, kind of fruity at the moment.

Sparklier than a sparkle explosion
Thanks Zeb! She's sticky and her buds are hard.Yes, she sure is looking damn good, the FBC .
Cheers Joe! She's got a fruity aroma to her, which I'll smell soon as I will go out and take a few pics in general.Wow, that Frozen Black Cherry is very impressive. It's going to be interesting to see the plants that come from the cross of her and the donor. We'll wait for DNA to be sure...
Thanks Carmen! I just try to keep them healthy.Frozen Black Cherry has such a stunning flower. Really very beautiful.
Cheers Carcass! The 2 Fluxed girls have 'non standard' profiles but this is my first time to train with Fluxing in the trough, and I've had gained some learnings from this which gives me some pointers to work with next time. She's grown up to be a real beauty, Stunger!
Thanks Roy! I just try to hold it steady!Superb stuff Stunger, appreciate the photography skills too
Damn .
That’s worked a treatUpdate - Plant by Plant & some grinder maintenance
Greetings 420 enthusiasts!
We're getting towards the pointy end of my plant's lifecycle. It's great to get here, but I don't want it over too soon.
Trough shot
The plants all seem healthy and robust, and loving the sun and wind on them.
Mulanje Sherbert
She is doing well and in the early stage of flowering. Her recent stem split doesn't seem to have bothered her. I am looking forward to seeing how well she builds her colas on her 6 stems.
Frozen Black Cherry
She is the centre girl of the lineup. And the most advanced, giving off a nice fruity smell. Her buds are harder at this stage than I am used to. Half of her genetics are Blackberry Moonrocks which is supposed to produce very hard buds.
Super Lemon Haze
A smaller plant overall and like the Mulanje Sherbert she is still in the early stage of flowering. But I think the trough soil might have been a tad rich for her liking and plus I trained her hard which I have read this strain doesn't like. But in saying that, her stems are building and I am looking forward to testing her when she is ready.
I have noticed in the gloom of the garage when I am grinding up bud to vape that my grinder is sticking, and to be honest, it has been like that for a while. A couple of times I have managed to pick off some of the 'grinder gum' from the teeth but haven't yet given it a clean since I got it a couple of years ago.
I took it into the house to open her up and get some light on her business end of things.
Just as I suspected! She needs a clean and probably has for some time. So out with the Iso, toothpicks, cotton buds. And half an hour later she's brilliant again! haha. I got a fair bit of the grinder gum off, but much remained and got lost in the Iso, but good to have it clean again.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope your own gardening is going great!

That's some serious build up came up well after a clean .
Plants are looking awesome nice work
Cheers Zeb!That’s worked a treat
Thanks SOG!Looking GREAT!
I like the trough growing IMO its the way to go , ultra sustainable and inexpensive once you get it going Plus lots of real estate for the roots to stretch out in to find the resources they need . Another opinion of mine is i think the plants interact with each other to help get the resources they need when through their exudatesThanks Abs!
Cheers Zeb!
Thanks SOG!
