Stocking Up For The Apocalypse: Goody's Perpetual Grow By The Beach 2020

Well for now I’m going to get this going

The seed was floated (and sank) overnight, and is going straight into the soil like I usually do.
This time instead of my normal 3g plastic container, I’m using a 5g bio/fabric pot from the prize package @Mars Hydro sent me last month. This variety seems to want to be a big producer, and I know a 3g pot has its yield limits (about 7.5 oz it feels like), so this seems like a good time to implement other items in my inventory.

Whether I succeed or fail, you guys will be here with me. So off we go-

How will you be training your crack? I’m specifically looking for some new trimming techniques....
Been having success doing my version of a hexline, though I need to work on continued training to try to keep this one short. I sometimes tend to train for a few day then just let it go and it still gets too tall anyway, going to try and avoid that. Says it’s a heavy feeder/producer, so I want to get it nice and stout so it can support its own weight. I like to move my plants around too much to ever do a Scrog again.
I’m open to suggestions, I imagine this will grow quite a bit different than the heavy indica strains I’m used to.

At least the auto genes should tame it down a bit
I hope so cause without that, I think it’s generally considered a really tall plant. Everywhere I look it (the photo version) is listed as a tall Sativa. I’m gonna do my best to keep it as short as possible.

The Wedding Cake is done making white pistils or so it appears. 1 more week would seem about right, and would be right about as it was predicted by the grower.

The trichs on the flowers tell a similar story, just getting milky, ambering up on the lower leaves.

I’m going to plan on it’s last watering being Tuesday and it will get chopped sometime between then and Friday depending on amber.

Chopped down that herm and fed it to the livestock.
Next up in the little tent-
Green Crack because I need a little more sativa in my life.
What breeder is that WC? Looks amazing!

:ciao: Hi goody! Happy post Thanksgiving and food and football and....party on! Lol. You have done so well with everything you’ve grown... Im not sure what is different now (because I’m a stoned and paranoid newbie...hahahahaha.) just do what you’ve been doing. You are super good at it! Which is why you are doing a grow, no? You have quality seeds and a bitchin setup to do it in. AND, if for some reason it all goes to shit, I’m sure you got more seeds, right? You got this! :high-five:

Thanks Boo!
Yes most importantly the genetics. I can get good weed to grow just about anywhere. I’ve grown in the best aeroponic setups and in turtle ponds. I have a pretty decent setup but it’s pretty budget compared to many here. I was fortunate enough to win that light and tent last month, otherwise I run a pretty generic (mostly Chinese) setup. I love showing that it doesn’t take a huge investment to grow great weed. Speaking of that, I feel the best thing I’ve found in many years is Megacrop. It the glue that holds all this together. It makes it possible to grow great weed on a pretty slim budget.
Thanks for your kind words. I’m just a guy who’s lucky enough to understand the language of this amazing plant.

The Babushka Black is BIG. Even next to the Wedding Cake, which is nothing to shake a stick at. This is the WC in the front and BB is in the back

It appears to have a bit of foxtailing, and is supposed to be done soon but appears to be continuing flower. So I dimmed the lights about 50% and cut back on its MC dose a bit. The WC loved all the light but this plant may not be responding quite as well. One good thing though, the K and Cal problems seem to have cleared up and this thing put on some SERIOUS weight in the past 2 weeks

WC trichomes should be about where I want them by the end of this week

Still very clear, this one still needs a while

I don't know what magic you used to make that but it looks awesome.
Thanks, my friend. It’s just a negative of a high flash pic that has a black surround. Came out looking cool, kind of unexpected

I'd have that on a t-shirt
One day maybe it will be :p

It was one of these pics that had a bit too much flash

It’s tough when the plant has so much reflective white, a REAL good problem to have though!
