Stocking Up For The Apocalypse: Goody's Perpetual Grow By The Beach 2020

Looking good over there Goody! That Wedding Cake is a looker. :p So happy that little freak NL turned herself around. She owes it all to you! :bravo:

So many good things growing - I want to grow them all. Did you make it back from Vegas with $$? :laughtwo:
Thanks so much, very nice of you to say.
No, Vegas was supposed to be this coming weekend, but unfortunately due to several things, I am in the process of cancelling. My girlfriend is supposed to start a new job the day after we get back, but with new restrictions she would need to quarantine 2 weeks once she gets back. There’s just no way. Plus the airlines suddenly moved our plane tickets without explanation and makes them both really inconvenient. Plus I don’t really want to head into a crowded place at the moment for some reason lol At least now I don’t have to depend on someone else watering the wedding cake while I’m gone. She’s sensitive ;)

Looking good. Very sensible not to travel at this time

Sounds like binning off the trip is for the best. The plants are looking great. Which breeder is the wedding cake from? @Dope-Seeds.com sent me a couple of the Blackskull ones.
Thank you! The wedding Cake is Barney’s Farm, seems like the real deal so far.

Oooo great news! I have a few of these. Exciting!

Triple bonus!! (I can hear the machines at Vegas now; WHEEL OF FORTUNE!!!)
I played an awesome “Big Lebowski” machine last time, I can still hear it. Slot machines are so giant and crazy and loud now!

Gorgeous, 13g13! Am I right in thinking its effects are fairly well balanced? I want something that isn't quite so sedating!
I don’t know if I can say that. Depends on the type smoker you are. I kind of went after it for the sedation qualities and its taste ...It’s balanced but it is heavy which I love. It says restful and euphoric indica on the breeders site ;)

Cheers for the heads up! I'm still excited to run it but I will look elsewhere for a headier buzz :thumb: :thanks:

Look up Killer A5 Haze from ACE they are a sponsor this is the description

Killer A5 Haze is a sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain that Ace Seeds created by crossing an A5 Haze female plant with the Killer Malawi strain. Extremely high THC production along with high yields make this a must-try for Haze fans.

The A5 Haze mother is a hybrid of Northern Lights #5 and one of the elite Haze plants bred by Nevil Schoenmakers in the late 1980s. The Killer Malawi father will need no introduction to followers of Ace Seeds' land-race strains. The Killer A5 Haze remains a manageable size even when cultivated outdoors. It is a highly vigorous plant with multiple branches and a medium-spaced inter-nodal distance.

This is one very hungry plant which will require high levels of nutrients and plenty of light, both indoors and outdoors. Indoors it is very amenable to SCRoG techniques due to its well-developed branching. Outdoors it can be grown successfully between 0° - 43° but it thrives in warmer climates and will need good autumn weather if it is to fulfil its potential. Killer A5 Haze has high resistance to both powdery mildew and high temperatures as well as spider mite and white fly. Yields are exceptionally high although we have as yet no figures to back up this claim. Indoor flowering takes 9 - 12 weeks, depending on the exact pheno-type, while outdoor crops will be ready in late October/early November in the northern hemisphere.

The scent is very complex and includes a deep, incense/Haze quality along with that of meat, rotting/organic notes, compost, resin and seasoned wood. Terpenes found are myrcene, limonene and beta-caryophelene. THC production varies between 23% - 30%, the latter figure believed to be the maximum that cannabis can produce. Its effect is definitely not for the novice or the faint-hearted. It is incredibly strong and psychedelic in character, utterly trippy with commensurate alterations to perceptions including visual, auditory and tactile changes. The disassociative psychedelic phase leads into one of hilarity before eventually becoming very heavy and narcotic. The inexperienced smoker will not be able to handle it, treat with caution!

Damn pretty girls in your grow. Love the experiments on autos. I've never grown them because seeds do not seem to like me. I have to nurse them along and clone any I can get into veg. My in laws live in Fairhaven - looks like it could be close to where you are - maybe I'll come squeeze and smash with you one day.

Fairhaven as in Bellingham, WA? That’s a little over an hour from me.

Hahaha yes this is legendary! Unfortunately I don't have the space/time for a cultivar like this quite yet. But I do have other Ace sativas, their Panama and Panama crosses (x Malawi, x Golden Tiger) which I could try. Thanks PCaddict!
