Thanks, and I should have included her, she’s really trying hard now

Go little one GO!:cheer: All looking great over there mate. That PL is beaut.

Looking good all around!
The young ones look perfect, the older ones look great!
Odd leaves on that PL, but the buds don't seem to mind...
The Wedding Cake- what a beauty.
She sure is!

Hey- the WCC is (finally) coming down tomorrow- still not much amber on her, but I think she's as ready as she'll ever be, she's already 24 days past the breeders estimate...She really turned out nice- not very tall, but plenty fat!

Is that the full moon coming up through the clouds on the left? Awesome shot mate :)
No it was a glare ;) Thank you Celt
This was the moon last night-

The Babushka Black does a really dramatic evening routine- every night a few hours before lights out, it really sags and looks like a completely different plant (like this pic) Only to be right back to spread out pointing at the sky by morning. Only 29 days old today- has a pretty good look to her, and she’s stretching nicely. Can’t wait for that purple to start popping up

And a bit of the PL purple for now

Went on a short hike today before football started. The shrooms are already everywhere. The temps are perfect, the moisture is perfect...things are popping. I love the smell of decaying forest floor in November.
Not exactly cannabis related, but some cool pics from that walk

I would have No idea if they would be Mushrooms that are good and which ones are poisoned so I don't know enough to pick the good ones from the bad ones.

The PL is starting to look like the “flowering time” they had listed was actually the time for the whole life of the plant, which would put it at done this week. The pistils are about 80-90% red (which means nothing, but it made me take a look at trichomes.) Still probably a week left, I definitely want to see them more milky.
I love the purple coming through in the micro pics, and there’s lots of resin on her

Decided to move a few things today- In the new @Mars Hydro tent I put the Wedding Cake (back) in with the Babushka Black since they are basically the same height/size. I want to see what it’s going to look like during the sponsored grow with 2 plants going in there. So far it’s a nice fit, I do love this new tent.

And the GTG bagseed, since it is a photo, goes in the smallest middle tent which can be on a different timer in the next few weeks. Thinking I might take a clone or 2 of her to mess around with, seems like decent genetics if it’s anything close to what I smoked. In the back you can see a little clone I got from the WC auto, it’s rooted but still deciding if it wants to do anything.

I have noticed something with these 2 plants that’s encouraging- so far there are no leaf problems.
Normally by now, a few are already discolored and then it starts to affect the rest like a virus.
I have done a few things different this time and hopefully it’s helping.

First I’m finally using promix. I don’t mix mine with perlite like some people but I do have a bag and plan to next time. It seems to work fine without as well.
Second I settled on adding acid to my water/MC to get it to 6.2, because my water is so hard. I’ve tried without pH and it just doesn’t work right. Also have not added any additional CalMag to these.
Third, and I don’t know if this matters- When I fill my water jugs, I have only used the cold water faucet. I used to put hot/cold same time because it was faster. But I have read there is a possibility of a bacteria that lives in hot water heaters that could affect people/plants. Not sure the validity of that but it’s not hurting.
Fourth I mixed my mosquito bits in with the soil rather than with my nutes, and water from the top about 80% of the time. So far no gnats this time at all, and less salt build up which may have been a big issue.
Fifth I went easy on supplements. I went slower on MC than before, though still running full strength, but very light on supplements.
Besides all that, they love this new light. I really enjoy seeing my plants react to a light like this, you can tell they are just drinking it in.

So far this Wedding Cake (top) is one of the nicest looking plants I’ve grown in recent memory. Excited to see what the next month does for it. Happy to see leaf issues not causing me Election-type anxiety

i too had similar issue with the last 2 soil batches of plants that i did with the discoloring / spreading. at least in my experience, the "you dont need to ph your soil nutes" is not true. it started to happen to my recent crop again, and i said screw it and started phing the mix a few feeds ago. they all look healthy as can be now. everything is looking nice.

The pH thing may be true in most cases, just not in mine (or yours) and I can’t explain it, but I found a sweet spot with this group. I’m sticking with what works, I’m tired of having a perfectly good plant just get a little “off” suddenly. Autos are fast so it’s usually not a HUGE deal, but I’d still love to see one finish without the leaves going funky.
This WC is going to be my Christmas candy, I want it to stay on the path it’s on cause it’s getting tasty looking already.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi goody. Looking good over there, I like your kitty avatar too.

Curious what your ratio of mosquito bits per gallon container is? :thanks:
Thank you, that’s my beach cat, Samson.

I put a large handful (say 1/2 cup) of bits in the top 2 inches of the soil. Their cycle seems to be broken and there haven’t been any gnats for a while, though I’m sure they will find a way back ;)

yea exactly! thats why i always say "for me", cause im sure other people are doing no ph to great success and have evidence to prove it. i think its something with my water maybe, so I recently got a nice RO system but havent had a chance to install it yet. my last batch was autos and sadly for most of them, the lockout came at the worst possible time. many ended up less than a foot tall and the average plant yielded between 10-15 grams in 3 gallon pots. luckily the lockout was resolved in time that they still made nice stinky terpy nugs (most of them) but most were still fluffy and a pain to trim cause of all the crispy calmag deficient leaves.

i wish you great success on the christmas candy dude. its looking great. i actually put my tree up this week just to put a little joy back in my life. tacky yes, but im italian, its what we do.
