Stinky Snid's Nursery & Flower Shop - Welcome To My Perpetual Adventure

:Namaste:

Definitely keeping it green over here :thumb: your garden is looking great Snid:bravo: keep up the good work
Thank you Dirt, as always you're a stead fast supporter. Not only of me but so many others. :circle-of-love:

Holy cow O.O Explosia must have 40 tops at least. WTG!
I couldn't keep track, but I counted 28 tops. There's a few smaller shoots just below the canopy too. I'm afraid she got out of control, but in a good way. Lol. Thanks mouser.

Forgive me for going MIA?

Your garden is stunning! Can't believe how much I've missed.
It's been a little while smokiebear, we missed you. I just put the inline fan to use, my thanks to you once again for that. I hope all is well with you and yours. :circle-of-love:

Will take me some time to catch up Snid! Looks like the show goes on in your Garden ;) Looking forward to what's to come
Take your time Growlow, it's still a ways off from a harvest. And yes the show must go on, and on and on, and on... That's why is a perpetual :high-five:

Great pix.
Now I have a craving for Doritos,
Don't we all  damn MSG...

Always top shelf plants Bro :bump:
Seriously explosia is reaching for EPIC :bravo:
I appreciate the kind words Deprivation, I try to make my girls make me proud. It's a good system, they've treated me well in the end, even while I've poked and proded them for months. Not bad for someone who's been at this for 10 months...:Namaste:

July 23rd, Daily Update

I could no longer take the excess heat, not only am I suffering from this summer heat but the plants are too. I've not been able to chill the auto tent down with the old configuration. Even with 400cfm of fresh air going in it wasn't enough exhaust power from my measley 120cfm duct fans to dissipate the built up heat above the lights. I've been averaging highs of high 80's and even I to the 90°f's. I've created a exhaust system that draws from both tents making use of a T-connection.
20160723_211436.jpg

The photo tent now has a 4" carbon filter installed. (Now I can grow some stinky photo strains) this is being drawn by a 460cfm inline fan that I've suspended above the Tents. It runs virtually silent compared to my little duct fans... Incredible that it's so quiet, the hanging eliminates vibrations and therefore noise. Temps are now steady around 82°f, a great improvement! Let's check on the girls...

Notes ~
Jawsephine is nitrogen toxic, I'll not be giving her any more from here on out. If it's got any N in it it's not going into the feed solution. Madeleine makes me smile every time I smell her. This is a strain I am going to be reordering next time I make a seed purchase. Bobby sue is much more Stinky smelling but still just a mini me. Hailey and Bailey are showing pistils just as they reached the edge of the pots, these girls are going to be great auto topping examples. Kailey is slowly catching up, with her spindley limbs and non seraded leafs. Crystal will surely surpass her by the end of the week. She is tightening up her nodes as a sign of pistils to come in the next couple days.

It's been a quiet few days for the photo girls. I've been busy doing things and not getting home till after lights out. Today they got an extra 10 minutes of light time hwilr I was scrambling to get the exhaust system finished. No harm done... I hope. Explosia is showing her first tiny little pistils. Ella, Explosia and Bella have been put on pedestals to elevate them to be at Cleopatra's level. Cleopatra is just immense in volume, I'm really hoping for Lots of 33%thc buds. All these ladies are coming along great.

see you on the flipside

Nice job on the ventilation. Too bad you LED guys can't air cool your lights. I honestly didn't know it got that hot in Canada. Learn something new every day.

Cheers brotha!

im trying to come up with an LED cooling setup using square venting with 6in round ends...i dont see why it wouldnt work.

I am glad you got the temps more under control. I was suffering from high temps as well and I went the AC route. I am so pleased i did as I was hitting 82-83 and was concerned. After a few config changes I felt I had two choices. AC or CO. I chose Ac and now I am steady... where ever i set it ;) (75)

I am glad venting helped you. Heat sux.

Nice work Snid:bravo: maybe give jawsephine a good flush with a light nute mix, might help pull some of the excess N out of there. Keep up the good work my brother:thumb:
Thanks for the advice, well taken. I gave her double water and half the nutes. No nitrogen. The plasticky look is diminished already.

It's really hot because of all the humidity. It's not a dry heat that for sure, we're getting 30-40°c with excess Humidity it's literally killer.

That's an ingenious innovation mouser, let's see the prototype, and designs yet?

A new little portable AC unit would have been my last resort. I've had this inline fan for while and it's been sitting unused. Things are good now, temps are steady with a high in the mid 80's. Thanks for the support and advice with my current issue

That t for the fan is a good idea two birds one stone. Girls are looking great as usual. I am just getting a seed shipment together I'm so neurotic that I've got to look up and research every strain that drawls my attention to see which ones are best for me and my little space. But it's fun for me. One day I'll have a photo and auto separate rooms one day lol

All in good time brother, knowing what your growing is like a science. Your setup is much better now then before, your plants will Reflect that.

I have to agree with Dirt,
Explosia is a great looking plant
Thank you very much rookie, I've got high hopes for her.

July 26th, Daily Update

All systems are nominal, new exhaust is working like a charm. It's even quieter then the previous setup. My only problem with this setup is the suction it creates and sucks the tent walls, I lose a 4-6" on every side. I've made some stop gap retaining rods to prevent to walls from crushing the plants. Let's take a peek inside and see what the girls are up to today...

Day 2

Notes ~
Diesel Berry seems to be stalled, she's super slow compared to her counter part my very own Stink Widow. SIGH... Kailey is a total hermie, definitely a bad genotype. I am very surprised since I've got 3 others from the same seed pack going strong and hermie free. This plant is isolated in a window sill until I decide wether I want the pollen or not. I may put it outside and keep it for hash making, I don't want to smoke seeds that's for sure. On a better note, Hailey and Bailey are into flower, I've started to let them rise in unison. Bobby sue is very dense and her aroma is very curious. A sweet skunk smell, very cannabis like. Madeleine is nearing her harvest flush, I'll. Guesstimate harvest is in 18 days...Jawsephine is taking her time with her late flower phase. It feels like I'm grabbing someone's arm when I hold her Colas to clip and remove some yellowing leaves.

Cleopatra is looking better every day, she's got such a pungent Odor it burn the nose when you sniff too closely. (like science class, it's best to woft the aroma) I guess it smells like 33% thc eh? Ella and Bella are doing fine aswell, I've picked off quite a few yellowing leaves from within the canopy.

I do hope you're all enjoying the updates, have a good day! See you next time...

I think I got a hermie too.
Not sure. Look like seed sacks?
I posted some pix yesterday, if you get a chance, do you mind having a look see?
Appreciate it.

July 28th, Daily Update

It's been a busy week with my side projects, and I'm not spending much time with the girls. Exhaust fan is holding its own, temps have been regulates back to acceptable levels. I've had to create a tent wall retention system to prevent the negative pressure that sucks the walls in, as to keep the walls from crushing plants. It's time for some pictures, let's take a look eh.
