Stinky Snid's Nursery & Flower Shop - Welcome To My Perpetual Adventure

I never would have had the nerve to top an autoflower, after watching your work,I had to say thanks again, you just woke up a sleeping elephant, lol, now that I know it could be done,i will combine my Teqniques, along with yours,if you don't mind?and grow some amazing autoflowers.I grew Think different, from Dutch passion, northern light auto, from nirvana seeds,,i kept all my autoflowers on a 24 hour light cycle, for 3 weeks, next time I'll go 4 weeks straight, their autoflowers, thay are going to but anyway, may as well hit them with as much light as possible, once the began to flower,,i would use 18/6 and set them outdoors on the hot days,I yielded almost 5 oz.in a 3 gallon geopot with think different,in 90 days, the plant was ready in 70,but I harvest in sections, ripest buds first usually start at the top, since the plant finishes in different stages, once I chop the top ripest buds,i wait as long as possible, usually between 7 to 15 days,im greedy,i love my buds with extra weight,by only removing the ripe buds, this allows the secondary level to fill in,and ripen faster,i just repeat the process till I get to the bottom then once the last level of buds are nice and tight, then I pull the entire staulk, and hang it upside down in a dark cool place..by trying your technique, along with my 4 weeks of light schedule,i will be GROWING AUTOMONSTERS,,in only 5 gallon geopots. Some one started the myth, that autoflowers can't be topped, because of the short vegging stage..once again I learned something new, thanks to this website,,thank you 420magazine,, we will be tripiling our yeilds, easy,I will prove it within the next few months..any suggestions on a high yielding autoflower strain before I place my order,i may go with,Think BIG from Dutch passion, its the exact same strain as Think Differnt, except it gets twice as big and cost a few more bucks,,think different, cost around,12 $ each and Think big cost 14$ each, trust me when I say.the strain think different is extremely POTENT,smells like l cherry COUGH syrup with CODEINE.. heavy afgani ,really nice smoke..HAPPY GROWING..

Interested to read your smoke report bloke :thumb:
No worries dude, I'll be sharing every detail of these ladies. Soon enough there will be clouds of sweet smelling smoke emitting from the garage. Can't wait! :thanks:

i think mos of them but especially leialoha tells u ''please chop me-cure me and smoke me'' she is beggin u....
I definitely great them calling SolarEc, they're all about 10-15% amber and ate awaiting their pre harvest flush. It's going to be a good month for Snid that's for sure. :thumb:

Great info on topping vs FEM. Garden looking healthy too.
Cheers
Thanks Millertm, I'm hoping to elaborate on these initial tutorials and then post them in an appropriate section. I think it's safe good start, so far reviews have been good :Namaste:

Thanks for your tutorials. Gathering lots of knowledge for my next attempt.
Awesme looking plants as always
:peacetwo:
My pleasure Mouser it's been a long time coming. I'd like to be more specific and have arrows to highlight things in the pics in the future. But I'm glad it's already being helpful for you guys. :thanks:

I have got to watch that girl grow through the whole thing. So awesome. I'm very happy for you Snid. Can't wait to see a photoshoot of her.
Here's your budporn you fiend... Hahahahahahaha. There's some with flash and some without. But they're all in natural sunlight. Enjoy!

As an outdoor grower, looking at your set up was starting to make me dizzy, lol, you really know your passion,I'm working on my small first indoor grow, thank you for sharing your ways,it makes it much easier for me to have an idea, of what to expect.indoor growing would freak me out, with all my cup winners,i wouldn't be able to sleep I'm purchasing a small generator just incase,im really paranoid when it comes to preventing something the could have been avoided.one nightmare I have is a major black out throughout the city during the flowering stage and all my plants die of shock, along with all my clones and mother plants, then I wake up in a cold sweat, check on my plants outside, kiss them all, take a nice bong hit of Somari.and relax lol,.HAPPY GROWING...
Funny you mention that Edzmedz, power went out yesterday... Must have been just a quick outage but worrisome to say the least. Last time it happened I panicked and started putting flashlights on the girls lol... then my genius gf suggested I put them in the window sill.... Duhhh! If I'm home when it happens evening is fine. But still I think about it at work for sure. Luckily in growing mostly autos and it won't ruin them. But now that I have photos it's different. I've read that a extra could hours of darkness won't really affect them. It's when you interrupt the dark time that you end up running into trouble.. Thanks for the comments, appreciate your thoughts man, come by the shop anytime.

Snid, I think your place is what heaven might look like! :circle-of-love:
My own little Valhalla... It is a dream, I wouldn't have imagined such a beautiful crop of ladies could be grown by my own hands. :thanks: Pinky :Namaste:

May 20th, Daily Update

It's finally the long weekend, here's to a great spring weather weekend... :yahoo: let's get out there and enjoy the sunny days. Got the new batch crops started for the auto tent. The next 3 are...
#1 sour bubbling crack (mephisto)
#2 Diesel Berry (autoseeds)
#3 hubbabubbasmelloscope(mephisto)
I'll be replacing them into pots that will be vacated over the next couple weeks. I don't want to buy more damn pots. My bad on the tardy update, busy day had me running around all evening.Let's check out yesterday's pictures...

Chloe is already matured, her buds are very well developed and stinks like a Stinky Snid plant should. Ariel is almost dry and will get her preharvest flush tomorrow (today) Trinity and the T.Special are going to get it next week. And Alani my little orange tree has gotten her first preharvest flush today. Counter down 2 weeks for her. Leialoha was out into 48h darkness this morning. I'll be chopping on Sunday morning.

Hey there Snid,

I typed out a reply to your topping tutorial and I must have had a few to many vapes and forgot to post it lol. This green poison is good medicine then hehe.

So yeah thanks for the pics and info on topping and FIM :thumb:

I have grown outdoors for many years and the only training I ever did to plants was tie them down a bit if they where starting to poke over the back fence. Now moving to inside at my new place I have learned that training the plants to maximize the use of my light is essential. So pics andd posts like that one are very handy for me.

Have a good long weekend Snid, happy growing to you.

Good luck Snid!

Love seeing Leialoha and the girls. Alani is quite pretty and something grabs me about ellabella. Her buds may not be as big but I get the feeling she will be some fantastic smoke. Who knows? Great work and nice choices of new beans!
Thanks a million ShiggityFlip, I'm sure Ellabella is going to be potent. I've had a good feeling about her since the beginning. It's in mine and God's hands now, I'll do my best to finish her up proper.

Glad you enjoyed the brief tutorials, I made them rather quickly, I'll be refining them over time. Stay tuned for more lessons in training.

Just making the rounds Snid! I REALLY REALLY like leialoha ... but that's not news to you! Can't wait to see what she gives you mate she is a stoncher of a plant!

It's a sad day, but luckily I've got 4 more to go. One is already being germinated. No tap yet though. :thanks:

Thanks for the read.
No worries mate, makes for excellent bathroom read material. Thanks for visiting :Namaste:

very nice snido :bravo:
Thanks for the help vlad, your support is very nice to have. Too bad my AG didn't make it. I'm brainstorming names to honour Explodey with... Something like Kapowla or Boomirrah... Any suggestions? :thanks:vlad

:rip: AG... happens to the best of us. Love the addition of the lighter for perspective. I would hate to think what you could create with some space. You would be cultivating monsters, I'm sure. Cheers Snid!!
Oldschool64 suggested it, I always forget to bring my lighter in.. I've also put up a tape measure for reference aswell. Bic pics are a little annoying when you got a dozen plants to check on daily. But when it's deemed necessary I'll be making the effort to show how BIG my buds are... :thumb:

Beautiful as always! :thumb:
Super big thank you mouser. Glad you are enjoying the journal and pics. Update coming up soon...

Feedings -
Ariel flush = 9 litres of water with florakleen

Notes ~ I've three autos in solo cups awaiting the day they see the light. No signs yet. Jawsephine is still stretching horizontal, I've added a stake to keep everything level. Chanel got a a few fans removed to allow bud stacking. Chloe is beautiful and is getting bulky already, fabulous! Ariel got her flush and Tyrone is not far either, next couple days it's flush time too. Alani is fading in hue already, she's halfway dry and should be ready fr harvest in 10 days or so. Trinity is also not far behind flush is imminent.

Feedings -
Ellabella nute mix = Ph 6.0 @72°f w/ 2.1 EC or 1510ppm
>G/M/B@10ml, b52@6ml, bigbud/budcandy/xfactor @8ml, sensizyme/overdrive@4ml, calmag@2tsp, silicate@1tsp, all in 4 litres of water.

Mandy nute mix = Ph 5.9 @ 72°f w/ 2.2 EC or 1600 ppm
>G/M/B@8ml, b52/bigbud/budcandy/xfactor@4ml, calmag@1tsp, silicate@1/2tsp, kelpmeal@3ml, all in 2 litres of water.

Notes ~ I broke a branch on Mandy while watering her today, used a couple extra strength waterproof bandaids to seal her back together. Could be a 3-5 gram mistake... We'll see. The others are doing their thing, they all look great. 2-3 weeks for the widows and 4 weeks for the other two are my estimated harvest dates.

Leialoha Harvest Report

I got lazy and pasted my post from my contest journal. :surrender:
Here she is before she went dark.

Her underbelly is magnificent, such skeletal structure.

I should mount this on my wall next to my deer antlers and turkey fan... Haha awesome!

Big buds from the topped end Colas are at the bottom of the pic, many many regular size Colas too.

I should have spelled something out, it almost says something there by chance.
20160522_0846571.jpg

Bud washing station, one bucket h2o2 and water, one bucket lemon juice and baking soda and one bucket rinse water.
20160522_084746.jpg

Super nice smelling buds hanging to dry. I can't believe the difference in smell compared to my Maria. These buds smell ready to smoke.

Root ball, you can see the solo cup root ball and then the ponytail root ball hanging down. Not sure if this is beneficial for autos. Inconclusive tests so far.

So the total wet weight of the trimmed bud with enough stems to hang is 424 grams. I'm expecting 20-30 grams of extra stems when I clip them to put in jars. But for now with that included I'm looking at 100g or so dry. Let's wait and see.

Thanks for everything guys this little Leialoha is my gift to the community and is dedicated to Beastx for having administered the auto topping thread that gave us all a second opinion on topping autoflowering strains.

Cropking seeds northern lights automatic, Leialoha my darling child has been harvested. Thank you:thanks:

Well that's quite an update hope you all enjoyed that one.Till next time...:ciao:
