Yes, do partial chop. Start from the top colas, and then wait few more days for the rest!

Congrats on the Grape Dogs C.

Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys

Thx for all support, guys! I went to check on AUs today, and they were leaning to the ground, but no damage. I staked them all! I also caught a worm here and there, had to scrape one cola, but otherwise they are healthy and strong, and can flower another week at least even with these buds going down under weight. Trichs are mostly cloudy on these plants so they're almost there.

Ultra Dogs will be pulled next week for sure, I'm just waiting for some more weight, but seeds are actually ready, cause I've been collecting them for the last few days. Heavy shit, guys! I smoked 2 samples already, and yesterday I couldn't finish a joint although I've been sucking on it all night. It knocked me off every literally! Incredibly potent creeper indica with strong body stone and some sativa zip on the top. Quite confusing but perfect nightime medicine, works great for my back pain and provides relaxation no matter what :tokin:

Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys

It was scary yesterday when all the plants fell over so close to harvest, but I'm gonna pull through. Temps are dropping slowly, but weather should stay sunny for the next two weeks, and that's all I need.

Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys

Big chunk of photos taken at The Sunny Spot! Colombian Punto Rojo, Jarilla de Sinaloa and Ultra Dogs! I'm happy that there is less and less bud worms, they didn't touch Jarilla and only penetrated one stem on my Colombian lady, mostly they were busy eating Ultra Dogs, but as the harvest is getting near their activity is diminishing. Tomorrow I'm starting the harvest there, I'm taking Colombian and OG phenos of UD first as theese are ready, and later on I'm chopping my pollinated ladies. Around 10 days for the slow UDs and Jarilla de Sinaloa.

Colombian Punto Rojo getting purple now due to the night temps, absolutely amazing mandarine/lemon/grape with a touch of piss smell. I have some bud in the jar already and it shows a lot of resin! Big, heavy colas, and not much leaf!

Jarilla de Sinaloa. Solid landrace strain with spicy incense smell and nice long colas. Not a lot of resin here but that was expected. No mold, no pests.

They all look great!
It looks like most of them have a ways to go - like another month. How much longer do you think until you can harvest?

Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys

Conradino, thank you for caring so much about us that you'd take the time to process all those pictures. I know how time consuming that can be. You fill a primitive craving we all have to be able to grow them wild and free. You make it easier on us by the overload of photos. They are amazing specimens. The colors in the Columbian....sweet.

I always try to imagine the thrill you must get as you come around the bend to the first patch of the day and how you have to swell with pride and awe to stand next to that beautiful Jarilla de Sinaloa. I've enjoyed sharing your joy of the wild gardens. Your haul this year should be quite respectable.

Amazing stuff there conrad :goodjob: :adore:

Thx a lot, man!

I'm starting tomorrow as I said, Major. I can assure you there is no indica on this planet that has to go till the end of October, and Ultra dog is not an exception. It could've been harvested a week ago and it would make for pretty good smoke, cause I've tried it. Trichs are going amber now, and most of these plants stopped pumping weight, so this is the window when they have to be harvested. The slow phenos of UD and Jarilla will have to go some more though, but that's ok I expected that.

That's going to be a huge haul con. All look beautiful. Does that Columbian PR have some indica blended in....asking due to how buds look & indica influenced leaves? There's goin' to be some heavy duty trimming sessions coming up. Great growing!:Namaste:

Yes, it definitely looks like a hybrid, but I'm gonna be able to say more about what it really is after I try the bud. Oh yes trimming, back to the drying room for a month or so :laughtwo: But I won't trim them wet this time, I'll go the dry way 100%.

I am proud as much as I can be. Thx, Sue :tokin:

Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys

I just figured I'm gonna have to double my capacity if I want to harvest all of my plants this week or push the next chop few days. These are just 3 plants, and they weren't really big :)

Gongrat's conradino!
Most excellent. I can't wait to see the entire haul. :circle-of-love:

Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys

yeah man, just those three and you've already incorporated the ironing board and TV tray...lmao.

Next stop....A few nails in the wall and some twine stretched like a spider web in Conradino's "drying room".

Yeah this is my storage actually which becomes a drying room once a year :laughtwo: I've put another line already, and I might have to do another one. Nails didn't hold very well, I had to use screws instead. I took out a lot of seeds already, I can see a lot of freebies for fellow growers :cheesygrinsmiley:
