Sticky's Almost Perpetual Grow

I got a refractometer last year, but I'll be damned if I could find a method to squeeze enuff juice ...what did you use Sticky?...cheerz... :high-five: :Namaste:...h00k
well what I do is take a leaf off and pull each leaf blade to the middle and stack them up snip off the stem and fold it up to fit on a quarter then another quarter on top then I use vise grips and I have it adjusted so it squeezes it almost all the way together you want to leave a small gap and squeeze it and most likely its going to squeeze out the sides I undo it and sperate the quarters and fold or ball up everything and do that process again and when it sqeezes out lightly rub the sqeezens onto your window it takes a little practice and you want to take a leaf from the middle of the plant in the afternoon on a day when you've watered hope that helps hookster :)
Conrad must be in a cool area to have local soil that rich. Very nice :) My local soil is crappy clay or washed out sand. I've got half a dozen acres with a mix of both depends on what end of the yard. The dam moles love the sandy side  I'm amazed at how fast they dig
he has wonder soil my soil is red clay or decomposed granite that's why we buy soil I have thought about going to the sac river and get some river dirt I need to get some of that and try it out

heres some ud close ups im watching the trichs trying to decide if I want to water it again but I decided to hold off on the water let it go a couple more days and chop on Tuesday im going to take a bud off and dry it and try it out in a few days :)

About the Brix. The measure has been used for a long time by wine and beer brewing industries. The scale is based on optical law of refraction (you can google it). It shows you total dissolved solids in a solution, which in this case is leaf sap. The denser it is and lighter in nitrates the higher the reading. What is responsible for higher brix reading is mostly sugar content with addition of dissolved minerals such as calcium, but those only show as blurred line. Plant uses sap to transport everything up and down, so effectively it’s like a blood in human. Brix reading might be compared then to simple blood test: white cells count, red cells count this kind of stuff. It’s the cheapest way to find out how your plant is doing without tissue analysis, which requires lab and will tell you the same thing basically just with more details.

ok the ud is in a dark closet for a couple days before I chop her these are the final pics of this frosty ud she reeks of sour lemon mmm :)
