thanks dankman I always love a nice harvest you no!Beautiful plants! Your gonna have fun at harvest
thanks ghost im pretty happy with these girls!Looking good Sticky ✌
hey woody if I couldn't kill them when they were little im not going to try it now at least the three at my sisters are good and yes ive heard good things about the liquid bone meal thanks for stopping by bud!Green cleaner... or the tried and true, safers soap... It's a hard battle. Sucks. But sometimes better to shitcan them. Really hard to kill off bugs on larger plants. Best to deal with them when the plants are small... But you have to really spray the shit outta them if early enough to spray period.. I'd take the top 6 inches of soil and shit can it come next year if you reuse soils. Come winter if you get a good freeze going,,, add water and freeze it into a block of ice. Them rebuild your soil. That bone meal is an excellent food source for your microbial life
Hey dude... I was scoping out in the back 40 and found acouple little ugly white things crawling across the field on a secondary leaf from the interior. I've lost afew plants over the last couple of years...
Russet Hemp Mites,,It's the plague of the outdoor grower... Supermites????? Yep.. and they can winter on the ground and in soil, if you don't get afew good freezes to kill them off...
I found 2-3 may be on acouple internal bud sites... Which is where they start... and spread outwards.. They actually bite and inject poisons to the plant and it becomes systemic. buds fail to mature and turn brown and look seeded.. And then work it's way up the stem... But even the tops of the main colas never be all they can be with that poison shit in it veins.
But on mine they are far and few. But they are there. And by harvest? Well, I had a thought,,, we know mine are kind of big,, but I took Miss J's PlumHaze tonight and wore a latex glove and sprayed her with this stuff called ''''Big Time Exterminator'''''',, I think,, was a few oils and some citrus acid in it. Along with a yeast enzyme. Stuff is supposed to dissipate in 4 days.. And target Hemp Mites. 60$ and makes up to 100 gallons, I say 60 so far without burn...
But I was thinking,,, bad idea, the headaches I suffer later,, but if someone used a thin cloth'''''' glove,, thoroughly soaked with whatever your spraying,, and you rubbed, well stroked up each branch,, it wood have to work your shit into everywhere... Just need a product you can waste enough on to saturate it dripping, And enough to spray a coat on everything you can... Of course, do this AFTER the max defoliation you dare do.... especially the center area...
The dirt scares me always... Why as a rule,, I don't reuse dirt. Hell 12 bucks for 2 cubic foot is cheap.. The hard part is getting rid of the old soils..
But it is easier to shitcan them,,, unless it's a really special one
I'm outta here... Keepem Green
thanks guys there gone chopped them yesterday im not about to go through that again with these bigger plants I still have 3 of them at my sisters that im pretty sure they don't have any on them they were always separated away from the others hopefully this will be the end of them at my house im going to treat those pots of soil kill them fuggars!Good luck killing those hemp mites, always something isn’t it!
I had those leaves on the black dog & the #5 the jh and sd just had some they weren't infested yet but I have weed so Ive got smoke I really don't like chopping them but at this stage im done! These mites are the worse curse one could deal with.. They are so small,, and you never see them coming. Plants great,, but somewhere you got 4 or 5 of these bastards,,, your infected come harvest. They never were here in Oregon till the last 5-10 years they started popping up everywhere..
@Pennywise I don't see a problem up there.. You get a solid ass winter which wood be a kill off for them... From what I've read,, they are really common in the clone farms down in Cali. And the trading of clones helps spread them future north to their maximum limits.
. Once you get them,,, they are so small,, they live in the hairs where all the leaflets come together and form the leaf stem... These spots repel water and oils. Even around the bottom of a leaf where that main vein is,, it's round,, and leaves a dry spot in that crevice where it meets the leaf. We are talking really small spots and the plants' natural defense keeps water out from these spots.. You'll also see the tips of the new leaves get distorted and stunted. The only way I found was a complete treatment,, spray, wait two days,, spray again, wait two days, spray again,, and once more after that should kill them off. Stuff like neem don't do alot,, as heavy as one must spray,, neem wood suffocate your leaves with to heavy of oil residue.. Safer Soap works great as one in a part of a switch up the regiment. And if you use it right,, it will leave your leaves extremely happy and soft.. Just spray heavy and completely, then rinse it after 15-20 minutes with plain water afterward..
I found a picture of an infestation I had acouple 3 years back. The taco effect,, well the edges of these tacos,, that white,, is bunches of little grubby looking mites..
