Yeah it'd take a bit to get to the bottom of things, but start here. Basic Mendelian principle is pretty straightforward, but it won't work in the world of cannabis breeding.

Well start here:

Mendel's principles of heredity - Access Revision

Mendel's version is incomplete... but it's what everyone uses these days.

It doesn't account for mutants (natural selection)... which WAS the basis of genetic change for a few centuries which turned out to be wrong. I'm liking symbiogenesis because Lynn Margulis.

Of course we all know there's mutants .. but there's no science to say "where" those genes came from (until recently). Only that it's how we "evolved". Kinda counter intuitive, for me anyway.

Mendel is correct in his vision... just not complete. Leaves out how we "evolved" and I feel that's pretty important. We are constantly evolving.... but why?? It's not "natural selection".

Sticky.. plants are getting REAL nice looking!

For this discussion, Mendel is the man. I just wanted to point out there is more on the table and the idea and science behind evolution is well.... evolving.

Do sugar leaves have different colour than fan leaves? It looks like that from the photos.

Can mean anything, but it's just a photo :p

Good morning, sticky!

So I finally started the UD breeding journal. lazyfish breeds Ultra Dogs

Come on by and check us out sometime. Not much going on yet but spring is here and it's starting to warm up. UDs will be 100% outdoors. Most likely will run 10 or 12 and hopefully pull at least a couple strong females.

See ya on the flip side!
