Sticky's Almost Perpetual Grow

Hey there Sticky - congrats on your seeds!

Your PC looks yummy.

Getting colors and heading down the back stretch.

You GR looks like there's a few nugs in there!

Smoke'em if ya got'em. What I say. :passitleft:

ive got a few pics to share rite now its blowing 40-50 mph and its been pooring all night its 55 outside its raing in Tahoe the snow is melting and all the creeks and rivers are at flood warning that's what is going in here!:)
then these other two ts one of them is heading down the same path as the pc a little premature fading I gave them all a good cat drench today if I would have done it a few weeks back I wouldn't be having this problem its just the one the other two are green as hell they still got drenched!

:ganjamon:

The exposure and/ or processing on the 4th pic is great. Detail in the high lights and in the shadows too. I've always liked slightly higher contrast pictures but not stark and over dramatic. Just what I like. Ansel Adams had quite a way with pictures but that's a discussion for another time. Great and gettin better Sticky!

Looks like there is a chill in the air. :thumb:

I here ya lo I have my parka rite there at the door brrr!

ive been using the tripod and trying to use my light instead of the flash trying to stay more natural Ive noticed when you don't use the flash you need a lot of light if you want a clear pic and yes ansel adams did have a way!

What kind of lights do you have. I'm guessing you're shooting under florescent lights. By 'clear pic' do you mean brighter or sharper focus? We could talk about how to light subjects, but I've found that each situation is different and will require a little more here and a little less there. Of course our subjects don't change too much. I like flash for very specific situations and using it the correct way is also important, especially if it's not your primary light source.

I had to come back I didn't answer your question by clear pic I mean sharpness no blur and I have been playing with using one light far enough away to allow the flash to work automatically!

Nice pic sticky! Sticky's weed photography studio. Kinda has a nice ring to it :high-five:

that's pretty funny dank stickys weed studio ya come on in youll never be the same lol!
Could not resist. See that sugar leaf right in the center without trichomes on the end? Ya, I may have licked them off.
you no for the life of me I couldn't figure out what happened there now I no my next question was it any good lol!

you no for me I get one of those real nice ones about 1 every 10 or 15 pics you no when everything is just rite!

That's a great ratio! When I was a Freshman my average was 1 great picture for every 36. Multiples of 12, wth... Anyways, as I progressed my average increased and by the time I was a senior and using a tripod for absolutely everything, that average increased to whatever my subject bracketed was. Pretty good, I learned to spend more time on the composition first and then move into the finer details.

Keep doing what you're doing, I see you're pictures getting better.

I should mention that's using a tripod and the timer as you said it makes a big difference!
