I find it interesting the smells we come to love in cannabis aren't necessarily what one would think of as intriguing aromas. Road kill skunk! The uninitiated complain of an offensive rotting-dead-body-skunk odor.
that's one heck of a report im with you jim I cant describe smells and flavors unless it something im a custom to he makes it sound good I just went over to the plant a sniifed it I will say what I always say it smells really good cant tell ya what the smell is I will say that I don't detect any of those smells he mentions but thanks for sharing that it does give me some encouragement about mine!I looked around for some information on the Copper Chem and found this description from a fellow who was pheno hunting a package of Copper Chem seeds for a breeding project. Since I lack a sense of smell and the ability to describe what I've smelled I just thought I'd share it. It's from guru at Higher Thought blog.
"Aroma: This is the epitome of Chemdog. Notes of gasoline, motor oil, gear grease, pinesol cleaner, sour lemon rind, rotten lime peel, diesel fuel, nail polish remover, acetone, and sour rye bread are prevalent among the different phenotypes. Each plant displayed its own biases--one was very much a sour lemon pinesol cleaner with nail polish remover, while another phenotype heavily expressed gasoline, diesel, and sour rye bread. I had a very hard time picking a keeper, as all phenotypes were something to be desired. Very stinky herb, it is even more potent when combusted. This smells like classic old school dank when it's burned. The uninitiated complain of an offensive rotting-dead-body-skunk odor. The nose from this one is incredibly powerful, loved by veteran potheads and abhorred by republicans. "
its getting stronger everyday!Love the looks of them buds. She looks so healthy yet also so it should be adding some nice terps yet.
that's a good way to wash your buds I wash all my buds I would love to do it the natural way!All natural bud wash this morning, i woke up to rain and a soggy girl left outside. Brought her in and showed her how i felt about her...
I just went over and gave one of the buds a little squeeze to get some smell and to me it smells good but the wife curls her nose at it my fingers were sticking together its sticky af!I find it interesting the smells we come to love in cannabis aren't necessarily what one would think of as intriguing aromas. Road kill skunk!
Gotta live stinky! Lol
