Step By Step Blueberry & Northern Lights Autos By Farside

Day 28 - Its been a couple days since I did an update. I let the girls dry out real good to get plenty of oxygen to the roots. The Blueberries showed their first bit of blossoms so I switched them to the Bloom feed. The Northerns are starting to stretch. They have put on 2 inches in 3 days. Everyone got a 1 gallon thorough watering. That should last them a couple days.

Nice to see real color pics of the ladies, so many people afraid to turn their lights off for a couple of minutes.

Nice to see real color pics of the ladies, so many people afraid to turn their lights off for a couple of minutes.

I happened to catch them during lights out one afternoon when I was off work. To help with tent temps, my lights out period is from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. I work nights so I sleep during the day, which is also when my plants are in the dark. Turning off my lights involves me crawling on my hands and knees while wedging myself between the wall and the tent. Its a small space and I'm a big fella, so that's not on my list of favorite things to do...lol I suppose I could take them out of the tent for a photo shoot more often, but most of the time I'm snapping a few pics on the way out the door to work.

Day 31 - The Northerns keep stretching. They've put on 3 inches in 4 days. They're currently 15 1/2 inches tall. Blueberry 2 has just started budding and stretching too. Blueberry 1 is a nice mound of leaf but is a little behind the others in the flowering department.

Day 32 - Last night the Northers got a gallon of Bloom feed and this morning the same for the Blueberries. The stretch continues and in the morning I'll probably have to raise the lights again. The tent is getting full and it's harder to take individual pictures if I don't take them out.

Hope you dont run out of vertical space, how much more stretch do you have to go?

I'd like it if they top out at about 2 foot which would be 1/2 inches a day for the next 2 weeks, but only the plant knows. My last grow got to about 4 foot and I had to change my light hangers out to gain extra room.

What nutrients are you feeding you plant?

I use Dyna-Gro nutrients. My feed schedule and product mix is in post #40 on page 3 of this journal.

I supercropped 2 of mine last night to even everything out.

I've never tried it on an auto. This is actually the first time I've topped autos.
