Steelcurtain22: Soil, GSC - 2022

Day 41: Veg, day 36 Geeze it was cold working outside today brrrrr! Already miss staying home in 75 degree weather with my girls! So both are getting close to needing a watering, will keep an eye out and thinking it’ll be much later tonight or tomorrow at lights on, no work tomorrow as construction season here is just getting under way. Won’t be long and no days off through the week but that means more $$$ :) Couple of pics after a little snippity snip! Stay safe all!

Day 41: Veg, day 36 Glad to be done the wifey’s “ to do” list (actually had few of my own things on it, shhhh). Timing was also good as I had just enough time to add Cal-mag too my bottles before lights on! Girls look nice, Shirley is really starting to look good, she’s so flat and even, Laverne is great, bigger looking and so different compared to Shirley! Judging by weight is on par with my view that their both not ready for a watering yet. Gotta make them a little irritable before they get anything and pics show they are not irritable yet, lol! Happy…Tuesday?

I believe I’ve covered all for now, will be my 4th grow but first time with new light. I know some will say I should have two of these lights for my 4X4 tent but only doing two plants, scrogging in a 2X4 space to accommodate flowering space for one light. Will be updating as often as possible, probably more than less, get addicted once I’m going, lol. Hope some will follow as I am always learning and already have a few questions regarding my new light, lol. I’m feeling confident so let’s hope all goes well, enjoy the ride folks!

Recommended is 24-30 inches 50-75% but I figure if they plants like it I’ll increase a little as more light isn’t a bad thing until plants tells you it is right? Just plugging away and always thinking or reading! Lol

Steelcurtain22, I top once if a fem photo above 5th node to train 10-12 bud sites. Depends on how long you want to veg and desired plant shape and size. I haven’t fast forwarded yet. Cheers

Well, I have a bit of a dilemma, I’ll be moving but not sure when. It’s either May1st, June1st or July1st. If I knew it was for July 1st then I’d flip real soon and harvest right at moving 10-12 weeks. Feel like that’s my best option, just trying to get wife to commit to July and use the 3 months we have due to the situation.

Then I would flip now then. And dark them out flip. Cause if u just move them into 12/12 they will take two weeks to show. Dark them out 36 hrs and 4 on then 12 off. U can get them start show early

So from what you say, if my lights go out at 7am tomorrow morning (Wed) I should keep lights out until Thurs evening 7pm (36hrs off) then leave on from Thurs 7pm-11pm (4hrs on) then start my 12/12 Thurs 11pm-11am(Fri morn)?
 
So both girls received their next feeding, again I am following the bottles and added in order recommended which at this stage is G/M/B and of course my cal mag before hand. Just like last feeding, both started run off after full 4L’s with the same 8-10% runoff. It’s been few hours and they’re already bouncing back. So due to my moving situation I am torn as to what to do or more when to do it. The earliest I’d move is May 1st latest is for July 1st. I’d like to commit to July 1st as I could flip now either just too 12/12 or as 7Dust2 suggested, force them to start showing early. Also need to have the wifey on board for sticking it out until July?? Grrrrr!

Well this just me. I noticed when I do that they just start alittle bitter mine set for 12/12 6 am to 6pm light on.. not then they turn off yes. Then time they come on is cause I turned it on for 4 hrs.. over a 3 days dark out. Usually ends for me on a 36 hr dark. I usually cut lights on second day for about 4 hrs. Then next days regular time. So yeah. Whatever benefits your schedule. Just dark them out two full days. Before lights go on 12/12 only reason I do 4 hrs. Is cause I what them to know light will return. Lmao. And give me little sun light. From sleeping.

Very true, moving if done right should be okay, I do have old lights I can used to transition them easier. Talk to wife tomorrow on what date we want to go with! Cheers man!
 
Day 44: Veg, day 39 So put in a 10 hr day at work, feels good really. So I didn’t see the girls until between 5:30-6 and they’re doing good. So I had mentioned moving and hoping for July 1st but that all changed today. We put in for a place and would ya believe we got it! Thus meaning I now will be moving for May 1st. Looks like I’ll continue to veg and lst until the move, then flip. I should be fine as long as I keep on the girls and do it right! Couple of pics after a bit lst removal of dead weight!

Thanks man, you and me both on a quick painless move, lol! I’ll be using some older lights to hold them over in new place whiles I dismantle and set up so thinking I’ll get through’er!
