Yes I think it's a good rule of thumb for sure. I like to do major stripping and in-between strips do light defoliation, I have def noticed a benefit to regular heavily defoliation. It really does something!! I just don't know exactly what ? My theory is the regular stripping causes plant to become more and more efficient and competent at replace plant matter !! Idk but that's my unrefined thought process to describe a very real result ! Do you have a similiar method blueter?defol is typically 2/3 of the way through veg, then once in the 2-3wk window of flower.
