I have 2 of the same pheno so reversed the branch on one plant and ill pollinate a branch on the second plant.

Vertical stretch has pretty much stopped so would defoliating the lower fans help the girls or slow them down? I really need some opinions on this guys.

Unless the fans are shading other buds, I would leave them be.

Some people do get carried away with defoliating, but for me, the whole point of defol is to allow light to get to shaded growing tips or buds. Apart from that it makes no sense as these are the plant's solar panels.

I defoiled everything under my net already going into day 21 this weekend
Thats when im going to defoil everything shading a budsite

I think theres going to be a slow down of production regardless but the outcome of unshading a budsite as opposed to a fan that is minding its own business will be much better in the end.

Thats why i defoil

if i was able to grow outdoors (i never have)
i wouldnt defoil at all
but indoors it just makes sense

I got lucky and most of my budsites are in the open so ill just resist the urge to "do something" and let them do their thing.
