Stanks Switch It Up In 2019

I think you would realize a nice harvest with the Jellium if you were to put four clones in a 10 gallon pot. This is the one I'm currently growing and I patiently topped it several times before flowering. The footprint of 4 in the same pot wouldn't be all too terribly much bigger then one in the same size pot as they tend to go up and not out.

I think multiples in single pot would be the only other way to get the yields up. But in lack of having 4 clones to do....I think the spiral method is best way to get the number of tops up.

In future runs, I might take multiple clones and give it a try. In the mean time, I will keep bending and twisting on the spiral girl!

Always beautiful over here :yummy:
Thank you bud! Appreciate it!

Ok, its getting to the time of the year where the weather is shit and its rainy and cold and I don't want to go out and work in it all the time. SO, I decided to break out the old DSLR and start trying to figure that thing out again. I threw on the micro lens and took a couple shots down there with no idea how they came out.

Transition Tent Update

We are continuing with the daily reduction of light in the transition tent. Just switched down another 20 minutes for tomorrow. The girls are currently running under 13.7 hours of light and 10.3 hours of darkness.

This is the first time I have tried this and right now...we are just observing and seeing how the plant behaves to it. I will likely do this to the BCP and the Grampa Glue as well.

The cooler temps in the basement definitely effect the water consumption rate. Both the transition girls are still a couple days away from needing watering. Room wise, we are getting tight in the transition tent (not the tent the pics are taken in), but they should be ok until its time to move them.

Labyrinth (S1) - Exotic Genetix - Transition Day 7

Slurricane (Fem) - In-House Genetics - Transition Day 7

This one is getting big. She is definitely taking advantage of the extra space in the 10 gallon pot. Very happy with how she is growing going into the transition!

Cooper Update

Quick update on the pup. He's growing like a weed. He' up over 50 lbs at 5 months old and still growing fast. We try to take him out for a daily walk when the weather permits (unlike today...windy, rain, sleet, ice) and that walk is generally 3-4 miles depending on which route we take him.

Its hunting season here so we make sure he wears his safety vest cause he really blends in with the leaves very well. Without the vest on, I generally can't find him unless he's moving. Even when we are just out working in the yard I try to keep the vest on so its easier for me to find him.

He was supposed to snipped a week ago but the vet had to cancel, so his boys got a stay of execution. Now we read something that was talking about it actually being better to wait until they are a year old to get them so we may do that instead.

That dog is absolutely gorgeous! Love him! Aren't dogs the best! Don't know what I would do without mine. Trying to talk myself out of getting a new puppy at christmas. It's not working well. Lol

Thank you Gutter......and nice to see you here. Don't think I have seen you here before...welcome!

Yeah I love my dog, though this one is something stubborn! He tests me for sure....more so than any other dog I have had. But as soon as he does something good....his enormous size pain in the assness disappears and life is good again. If I could just get him to stop bitting.....he's a teethy little bastard! He's lost most of the puppy teeth though so thats good.

Hey Stanks! Very nice up in here all around. This climate controlled basement sounds too good to be true!
I'm a fan of safety vests. The doggy looks like he's obidiant nice work so happy for you thanks for sharing this. :thumb: :high-five:

Thanks Lowded! I am really looking forward to getting a good environment to grow in again. Didn't realize how extreme the weather conditions were going to end up being here but we will get it dialed in.

As for obedient....well thats debatable. Take yesterday for example.....I let him out to go pee at 11am or so....and I was standing on the front porch watching and waiting for him to finish. A hippie looking van drives down the road and stops at the mailbox and I realize that the van is collecting thanksgiving food (they dropped plastic bags off the previous week)for the girlscouts. Cooper....seeing the van, runs over to the van despite me screaming at the top of my lungs to STOP, SIT, NO......anything and won't listen at all.

What does he proceed to do? He hops in the freaking van to visit with the people collecting the food. I had to run out there, in my long underwear (keep in mind this is a girlscout van LOL) with my long hair and beard flapping everywhere right after smoking a bowl. I am sure that I made a very positive impression LOL! "See girls, these are the people we tell you to stay away from!"

Damn dog....I tell ya. Never a dull moment. He pantsed me in front of a cop driving by one day too. True story! I saw a cop drive down the road and it was the first one I have seen since we moved in. I walked out to see him and maybe talk to him (had a couple questions for the town) and was waiting on the road (we live very rural and there are only a couple other people on our road) for him to come back. As he is driving back up the road towards me, I can see he is scrolling on his phone (go figure right....that would be a ticket for you or me but I digress) and doesn't even see me. Then right as the SUV gets up to our driveway....Cooper jumps up on my butt and pulls down my shorts (wasn't wearing any drawers under it either) and exposed me to the Po-po. THANK GOD the cop was on his phone!!

I was telling Ms Stank about it when she got home and as I was doing telling the story, Cooper pantsed me again. Damn dog!

Cooper is one good looking pup!

Thanks Penny, I agree....but then again I am a bit biased. I think he is absolutely gorgeous and love the fox red color. He blends in so damn good out in the woods. If he sit still you lose him in the leaves.

Weekly Flower Update

Halfway through week 6 since flip things are looking really good (knocks on wood). Incredibly pleased with the appearance of the Hindu Kush and Sour Cherries and I apologize in advance for the upcoming photo bomb. Gonna divide it into two to meet the photo limit :p .

Temps are really starting to draw out some colors in the tent. Can't get over how dark the Hindu Kush is getting and how quickly the Sour Cherries is changing colors.

Everyone is going to be getting watered tomorrow. I will likely top dress a little something into some of the longer flowering strains since they will still have a good ways to go (yeah Panama Haze....we talkin' to you girlie!! and Black Widow too).

Really digging the spirals on the Black Widow....she is stacking really nicely. That plant is such a breeze to grow!

You can see where the Panama Haze colas are getting up in the lights. Still not gonna supercrop anything ;) . The two top colas are a good comparison.....one is off from out of the foot print of the light far enough that she isn't showing too much stress....but the other one is about 2 inches away from the light and you can see the leaves protesting. It be what it be!

Flower Tent Flip Day 39

Panama Haze (Fem) - ACE Seeds - Flip Day 39

You can see right away which of the two mains is too close to the light lol. If she protests too much I might try and slide the light an inch or two towards the opposite wall and give her some relief.

Hindu Kush (Fem) - Sensi Seeds - Flip Day 39

Check out a couple of the close ups on the flower pics....can really see the purpling happening throughout the flower. She's also praying big time!

Black Widow (Clone) - Mr. Nice Seedbank - Flip Day 39

Will be top dressing this lady on her next watering cycle. I moved her to the center of the tent for her turn there for a week, staying true to the plant rotation schedule I have. Love the stacking on her though. No real smells on her yet.

Sour Cherries (Clone) - Crockett Family Farms - Flip Day 39

Continue to love this sexy lady....and how dank smelling she is!

The Hindu Kush is a cool looking plant.
And she has turned straight skunk smell to me.....almost like Body Odor skunk (think back to high school gym locker BO smell). That mango smell is a distant past with this one. Just rank BO now LOL.
