you bird watch? notice it doubles as a bird bath? see the diff brands, diff colored birds who come to visit, throughout the various seasons?Just a commercial tarp $60 at ocean state I bought a pack of straps and just let the tarp act as a bowl and fill with water evenly to freeze, I’ll pump about 6 inches off that’s it and it will be debris free in spring
god, I'm old.
just occurred- i see no fencing... maybe ur watchin bears, deer, squirrels (run on mine), skunks, coons n everything, huh? how cool.

Thanks Sparechange.....We do our best to give the ladies everything they need to be happy. I am a bit of a weed snob though....I do love my top shelf organic stuff!
Wonderful journal, Van Stank! I just started tonight and I'm stilling reading at 2:25 am. Be back, got to get some sleep!
I have wondered that many times when I see struggles that some go through. But I also realize that not everyone has the room or desire to play in dirt. Honestly man, I just love and appreciate the way mother nature works. The power of microbes and worms, amazing really. Think about it....things we rarely ever see....but if they didn't exist, neither would we.
But I am a bid advocate of people experimenting with different growing styles and mediums and find what works best for you, be it coco, soil, Docs kit, or DWC. If it gets you what you need, and it works in your situation then its a win! There is no right or wrong....just right or wrong for each person's situation. That being said.....it really doesn't get any easier than soil and rain water (not counting mixing up the soil...cause that shits a pain in the ass brother). Cheers and thanks for swinging by PT....good to see ya brother. Oh and don't forget....a lot of my success goes to my Fluence Spydrx Plus. Its a fantastic light!

Morning everyone else....hope everyone is having a great weekend. Been on firewood collection mode for a bit along with the fall cleanup. Hoping to enjoy some football today as well (as a Dolphin fan...its been a real tough year....so go Jaguars! LOL).
Did watering of the most the flower girls last night. Have to do the Skunks, Jacks, and Stank Surprise today. Need to mix more soil.....been pushing it off for way too long, can't afford to push it anymore....gotta get that stuff knocked out! Going to do a double batch....a bit over 100 gallons....wish me luck!

how r we even able to grow? u have a bunch of heads, who stereotypically lack ambition and motivation... who procrastinate every flush, every cleanout, every THING... and we come out with these gorgeous, golddiggin, ladies?! some things, are inexplicable. paranormal files, may wanna look into this phenomenon.

i see (enzyme cleanser) i was usin this florakleen, i think it is... still, a lil left, but i haven't used since maybe last winter. i figure the cocktail of bleach, dish soap, iso & peroxide, is "enough"... dunno what's in the enzyme cleanser, but i have a quarter (.25 cents), that says the cocktail would kick its ash.
as to prison fare... that chipped "beef"... i don't think gunslinger hippy, had the heart to relive, "S.O.S.". rhymes with shyp on a shyngle... sorry, hippy. i had to say it.
they come out with macrib, from time to time, to mess with some of the population, usually, in February... (ripped off from the comedy channel).

Well it hasn't quite lit the spark I needed.....been watching the Jaguars get thumped by the Texans. Just got done taking some pics for an update.....will get to mixing the soil after the update.
Ms Stank is out harvesting broccoli....we still have some in the ground thats going good but its supposed to be really cold tonight.

Flower Update
Alright Alright Alright!!! First game of the day went just like most of my football season has gone....with my team losing. Been a tough year if you are a fan of Florida football teams. My Noles lost to the Hurricanes yesterday
. The fins will probably lose to the JEST.....
Anywho.....the tent situations are much more favorable than my sports teams....thats for sure. Watered all the girls in the 5 gallon pots last night and they are the ones getting their update today. Still need to water the Skunks, Jacks, and Stank Surprise.
Stretch is going well for that Panama Haze....she is getting some legs on her for sure!! Reminds me a lot of the way the ATF grows with her haze background. The rest of the ladies are staying really manageable height wise. I am wondering if the cooler temps and lack of very much temp difference is driving that. Highs in the tents in the basement are staying in the 70 degree range and dropping down to 63 at night. Not ideal for that range....would prefer another 5-10 degrees if I could get it.
Panama Haze (Fem) - ACE Seeds - Flip Day 18
The Skyscrapper continues to rise! I raised the lights another inch or two earlier today. I have a feeling this will continue until I have raised the lights to their max height. I am very impressed with how stout she is for being so tall and lanky. I have given her a couple additional waterings with a little silica in it to try and give her a bit more reinforcement. I top dressed her with a tablespoon of goodies last night with her watering. She's a little slower than the other strains to start setting her bud, but its to be expected with her 100 day flowering time.
Black Widow (Clone) - Mr. Nice Seeds - Flip Day 18
The Tank continues to impress! There will be no need for support with this lady...she is strong like bull. She's stretching a bit more than i expected but I will welcome that for the longer colas! She got a top dressing and watering last night. Her buds are a bit on the slower side in setting but with her being a more Sativa pheno it isn't really surprising.
Hindu Kush (Fem) - Sensi Seeds - Flip Day 18
Everything is rolling along nicely for our nighttime lady. She got her watering and top dressing last night. Buds are forming nicely and she is going to stack nicely. I really need to do a proper Hindu pheno hunt....i love how this strain grows.
Sour Cherries (Clone) - Crockett Family Farms - Flip Day 18
Loving this one. I think I have been saying she's a favorite of mine for a while but she continues to impress me. I started seeing signs of frost on day 16 which is always a good thing! She got a watering and top dressing last night. Still too early for smells, but I keep trying to get something off her.....she's just not ready to show me what's in store! Definitely going to keep this one in the stable for a while!

LOL....I get lots of sleep. I keep saying on here that I am lazy grower. No nutes, no pH'ing, water only along with IPM foliars to keep the bad guys away. All my work is done when I mix the soil....like today. Just finished mixing 50 gallons. Have another 50 gallons to mix either later tonight or tomorrow. Mixing the soil kicks my ass and is the only part of growing that I am not a fan of.....but only because of my bad back. I really don't spend a lot of time with the ladies....give em good soil and good light and get out of their way!

The plants are looking top notch Van! You might want to start pulling the tops of the Panama Haze over now, just in case. I gotta feeling you're going to love the Sour Cherries. I plan on keeping for a while. The feedback has been very positive. Here's a little preview for ya

Thanks Neiko....I have a feeling that she will stick around my camp for a while as well. I love the way she grows. For me...sometimes you just get plants that appeal to you visually and she is one that is that way for me. Everything is just beautiful about her to me.The plants are looking top notch Van!
