Stanks Switch It Up In 2019

Nope.....bath, bath bath. Why shower when a bath is so much more thorough. I figure 2-3 days of bathing and they will be fine to go in their own tent for some time under 24/7 until they monstercrop. I think I will keep them together and cull one of the weaker ones and do the two together.

Clone Update

Coming up on a month that we have had these gems. All three continue to grow well and are very healthy. Watered them this morning.....6 days since their last watering so I know the roots are doing well. That number will continue to drop over the next 2 weeks which will be when they get up potted to their respective final homes.

Black Widow - Mr Nice Seedbank - Veg Day 25

The Widow is the slowest of the three in terms of its side branching but in its defense its got the stiffest stem and the toughest of the three to bend without hurting. Lack of being able to do that like the other two clones has led to slower side branching. This one hasn't been topped yet and will probably go a few more days before I do top her. Aside from the slower side branching development, she's a peach.

Killer A5 Haze (KA5) - ACE Seeds - Veg Day 25

Next up is the KA5 which I find myself wanting to nickname KAZ. She is doing well and has really developed more side branching the last few days. I have been doing a lot of bending and twisting on her. She's very flexy!!! Going to likely give her a couple foliars with some Silica in it to see if we can't get a bit more strength to the stems. Plucked off several of the bigger fan leaves. Like the Black Widow, she hasn't been topped yet.

Sour Cherries - Crockett Family Farms - Veg Day 25

Last up is my favorite of the three clones at this point. Loving her look and the side branching. Will likely top this one this week at some point. She's got a couple weeks in this pot before up potting. I have a feeling she could grow big if I left her to it.

Seeing the side branching on the KA5 is impressive. Of the three I would have thought that one would want to be tall and lanky with fewer side branches.

I have been doing the most amount of bending and twisting on her. She is much more flexible than the other two plants. That bending is definitely stimulating the side branching. And I am doing a quarter twist each node to get both branches to be coming out of the side instead of one on top and one underneath (that would normally get cut off for not keeping up with the canopy). Its the first time I have tried this with bending and twisting only.

I would be doing the same thing with the black widow if the stem was more pliable. And since I am vowing off the pipe cleaners this round, I am slowly working her stem more to try and get some better flexibility to do it.

Looking good Stank. I love the side branching on the Sour Cherries I bet it will be a monster but all your plants are monsters.
Thanks Chief! I am digging it too brother! I am not intending to grow em as big for now, hence a bigger variety! When I find one I like, well thats when I might grow a big one!

Good thinking...xlnt strategy!

Onward & upward!

They're doing well. I call the Killer A5 Haze KA5H (cash). It tends to build a nice even canopy after 1 topping. She doesn't stretch much at all either. The Widow stretches about 20% and yes she's built like a tank.
Thanks for the info brother! That widow is definitely tank like in structure! Gonna definitely let the KA5 get a bit of vertical on her before I flip. Even then, I plan on keeping that one around for a while so I will likely have clones going as well here soon.

I like the KA5H (cash) name.

Update time. Did some topping and trimming on these girls recently and gave them a few days to recover. They seem to be doing ok, some better than others. The side branching is starting to develop a bit more since the topping so hopefully another week or so the canopies will look a bit better.

Labyrinth (S1) - Exotic Genetics - Veg Day 25

Starting us off is the Labyrinth. We got her up potted on day 23 so shes had 2 days in the new pot. She got topped the same day. She will probably have a few days of slow action while she gets adjusted to the new home and recover from the topping.

Hindu Kush (Fem) - Sensi Seeds - Veg Day 32

Up next is my night time sleep aid. I haven't been smoking much of the Hindu lately as I don't have much left. I smoked it the last two nights and man she hits like a hammer and does exactly what I need her to do. I really hope this one will be as bad ass as the last one. She got topped a few days ago. Side branching is slow for now on her but I will give her whatever time she needs to get where I need her to be before flipping. One thing I have noticed on her is the pronounced purple on the petiole. That is definitely genetic.

Skunk #1 (Regs) - Sensi Seeds - Veg Day 32

Last up for the day are the Skunk #1s from Sensi. The first one is showing much slower side branch development but it got topped a couple days ago so hopefully that will change soon. We haven't started looking at sex on these yet but will probably take a peek here in the next day or two.

The second Skunk is showing much more developed side branching and seems to be a bit more aggressive in its overall vigor.

Skunk #2 (Regs) - Sensi Seeds - Veg Day 32

Veg Tent Bonus Shot

Here is our little veg tent. Its being powered by the Fluence Razr which is an amazing little veg/seedling light. Its a bit bigger than a 24" x 48" light and only draws 91 watts from the wall and covers the entire veg/seedling tent perfectly. Its not overly intense so I am not seeing as aggressive growth as I do under the more powerful light, but its doing a great job of keeping the plants happy and healthy while we continue to address our basement issue. Hopefully I will have the basement ready to get the 5'x5' ready for some of these!

Nope....no pipe cleaners....or at least that is the goal. If I can't get the plants to do what I need them to do on some of the plants, I may use them occasionally.

I haven't ever topped and transplanted on the same day, so I figured it was time to test that action and see what the plant does in response. I keep hearing people say its a no no, so time to test it.

Thanks Shed!! And the eagle has landed!!! :thanks:

Yes indeed - we won! Go Eagles lol wait, maybe I missed your point??

All the little ones are looking great. Still hard to believe 2 main stems on the Slurricane. Thats some cool looking plant right there.

Sub'd for the Labyrinth flower pics. :surf:

This is getting exciting.

I use that green garden wire with rubber insulation pretty much everywhere and every plant. Just gotta do it.

Tie em down & wrangle em up. The girls need training. lol
