Stanks Switch It Up In 2019

Hey is Pamelina a real slow growing strain or what? I am not complaining mind you, I needed one or two plants that would cooperate with me while I clear some room, but she is definitely taking her sweet sweet time! I need to get her in a bigger pot though. She's been in the half gallon pot since I got her.
No, she is usually average speed. I have noticed though that sometimes I take clones, and some move along faster than others. Not just with Pam, but all my strains. Like it takes one or 2 a bit to get moving and others take off in the solo cups. I am guessing maybe you got 1 that stunted on me. If you clone her, I bet she will move faster for you next time. That would be my only guess.

You may have answered this but I can't remember now...is the iso/water mix okay to spray in full flower? Y'know, because alcohol melts trichomes at a certain strength...
I don't know....I have managed to keep any pest issues very isolated. I don't spray anything in flower anymore. I have the time to look the plants over and pluck any leaves with any signs of anything on them. I just harvested the Hawaiian reveg and that was the last plant I have seen any (though very minor) mite issues from the poinsettia gift. Its been a pain but with the big tent I have been able to keep space between every plant which really limits their ability to spread.

Ok.....I will try that....though again, I don't mind her going slow right now. I will up pot her to a 3 gallon soon, and see if that gets her going. Then I will take a clone off her and see if she gets going faster. Cheers brother!

You got it brother!

On a side note.....we have action on the beans, peas, cucs, squash, zucchini, and taters! Lots of stuff sprouted yesterday....and I have a feeling with this warm weather, the rest will be joining real soon.

Started digging the fence trench around the garden yesterday. Gotta say man, that mattox is a hell of a tool for digging trenches. So much more effective than a shovel. Still gonna be a lot of work to get 15" trench around the 50'x40' area.

We are going to be rolling into "No Till" out here from here on out in the veggie garden. All about the compost. Will start adding raised beds into the equation starting next year. Will also be ramping up our Bio Char production for the outdoor garden as well. The goal will be to run off all our own stuff without any store bought inputs. Might take a while to get there completely....but thats the goal.

It will go faster than you think. Compost for the win!

Thats some nice looking soil porn right there. You're sooo lucky to have good soil to start with. That's already black.

When we started out here years ago, the soil for what its worth - was not really soil. Some sort of clay and rock. With some elbow grease and some love and some worms. It came around.

We did mainly raised beds. Not very high sided but high enough we filled them with some mushroom compost and some other goodies and soil. Just kept adding in compost over the years didn't take long, we didn't have to do anything other than plant and weed.

Looks like you got a nice source of leaf mold too. lol

You've been working hard brother and it shows. Man that soil looks nice!

Rake, shovel and a wheel barrow. FTW! yeah you right.

I run 3 electric fence wires to try to keep the cridders out
The fence will come up 6' high above the ground to hopefully dissuade deer from attempting to eat our stuff.
Try adding something visual as well such as ribbon...deer need to see it and feel it :)

I run white electric wire specifically for deer around our orchard (@7').

Just noticed the other day that you had this new thread. Playing catch up right now, interested in the darkstar's progress.

I received some as freebies and recall a member here saying it was known as the cancer killer strain.
Hey OK, good to see ya brother. How have ya been?

I just flipped one Dark star that I let go naturally. She's in a 5 gallon pot. I just up potted the other one from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon for a halfway home. She will stay there for a month or so and then go in her final pot. Hope the smoke is good, it's been an easy plant to grow.

Thank You,
Have been very busy at work, whole new crew over the last few weeks.
Our medical is getting ready to be in full force, so have been kind of waiting on that. I did pop out some NL from Southern Oregon seeds in a non-brix octopot grow. They turned out nice over all, but am debating back & forth on if I want to try another non brix run scrogging a sativa.

I may try brix in the octo, regardless I am getting that growing itch again.
