Did a lot of work in the garden today and actually took some time to take a few pics of some stuff in veg. Its been a while since I have really done much with the indoor girls in regards to updates so these are long over due. I will try to get better going forward, especially in the winter months.
Last night I did a few up pots which will be covered in the update today, but I snapped a couple shots of the roots. I know roots don't get the same love that the rest of the plant does but I am really big on roots if you haven't figured that out yet.
I found a few seeds in some buds that a buddy sent me and I really liked the smoke so I popped 4 of them and all 4 sprouted. I have 4 different phenos of it out of the 4 seeds. Three are growing normal to fast while one is kind of a slow poke. I didn't up pot the slow poke (or take pics of her yet). I tried pulling her out of the pot last night but the roots where ready so I will give her another week or two. Here are a couple of the roots of the ones I did up pot.
This strain is a cross of Jellium and Wifi which was pollinated by a mystery plant, so we'll just call them Jelly WiFi +
Of the three that we up potted, I went from half gallon pots into 2 gallon pots on two of them, and on the other one I went from the half gallon into a 5 gallon. I will flip the 5 gallon in 2-3 weeks. The two gallon ones will get a month or so in the two gallon and then go into their final home most likely. Of course I might also decide to flip one in the small pot if I have openings in the flower tents. I always try to have multiple plans in place depending on how the plants grow.
Jelly WiFi + #1 - Veg Day 50
This one is the shorter tighter node pheno. She needs a trim, which I'll get to in the next day or two along with a sulfur burn.
Jelly WiFi + #2 - Veg Day 50
Number 2 is a taller pheno, with similar nodal space to #1. She needs a trip to the salon as well!
Jelly WiFi + #3 - Veg Day 50
Number 3 is another tall pheno but with longer nodal spacing than #2. Thought I took more pics of her but apparently I didn't LOL, oopps.
