Thank ya kindly Bode!!! I appreciate the kind words. I hate trimming.....really really hate it. I gotta up pot the cutting I took off her today along with a few of the other outdoor girls we ran.....the Blue Dream, KBTF, Stankberry, DTF, and Super Lemon Haze. Gotta get the next batch in their final homes and prepped to flip in a couple weeks.

Heya Van, it's been a while since I came for a visit. Your outdoor girls were outrageous this season! :welldone: That Super Silver Haze was a beauty, and that wind-blown DTF in the garden looked wild. I hope you're out of trim prison by now. I've still got one more outdoor plant to do myself. Gonna get started maybe Friday. Will probably take me 3 or 4 days, depends on how much help I get. :peace:

Hey Beez, great to see ya bud!! Still not out of trim prison, but thats my fault, I've taken 2-3 days off from it to let the neck recover. I'm going to switch tactics until I finish out what I have left. I'm just going to shoot for trimming 4 zips a day until it's done. That way I have a clear goal and a clear end. Much easier and much less stressful and draining doing it that way. Satisfaction of hitting the goal, knowing that I'm one day closer to being free.

I have all of them except 2 all snipped off the branches and at least curing in 5 gallon buckets until I get to them.

Good luck with your last one left standing. We got about 5-6 inches of snow last night so I don't think the ones I have left outside are going to make it LOL. No big deal, I wasn't counting on one of them and the other two are in small 2 or 3 gallon pots so there wasn't much. We will see what's left tomorrow.

:bravo:
Well done, Van. Makes me feel green just looking at it.
Are you going to try to reveg the DTF with the anise notes?
Hey DD!! No reveg on the DTF with the Anise notes.....she was the only plant that was grown in the ground.

I will say this....that DTF is the most hallucinating like high from anything I have ever smoked. Dare I say she might be a bit too much so, or even too potent. She's a straight up hammer and have you disoriented for sure....at least me anyways. I can usually smoke anything and barely bat an eye, but she smacks in the face and gets my attention. I wish I would have taken a cut of her. Of the three DTFs I flowered outdoors this year, the anise scented one was easily the most potent.

Both of my friends that smoked her sister said that both DTF #1 and #2 were really strong, almost too much so for maintaining focus. #3 hits even harder and has much stronger visuals and sensations of distortions in the visuals. I haven't tried her with music yet....perhaps Monday LOL. Good to see ya brother!!

Final Outdoor Yields are in on all but 2 and I have to say I am thrilled to death with what we got.

This was my first real year going outdoor so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I rarely do anything without some sort of goal or expectation and I had set the bar at 100 ounces total for the group. I was factoring in weather, crop loss, pests, etc that generally aren't considered when you are growing in a tent indoors. I figured if I got half an ounce per gallon of soil, I would be happy.

Here are the results plant by plant

Deck Girls
Jack Herer - 16 ounces
Sour Cherries - 22 ounces
Afghani - 22 ounces
Lemon Haze - 11 ounces

Fence Patch
KBTF - 17 ounces
Stankberry - 16 ounces
DTF - 15 ounces
Sour Pineapple - 10 ounces
Super Silver Haze - Still doing final trim but over 16 ounces at this point
Blue Dream - 0 ounces (She got hit by the weather before she could finish)

In-Ground Girl
DTF - Still working on final trim but over 26 good ounces so far with more than 8 ounces lost to bud rot and another couple ounces that I never got harvested off her that got caught in the ice storm. I'm guessing a total of about 30 good ounces when all is said and done.:thumb:

That puts us over 170 ounces for the season. Gotta say that we are extremely pleased with what we accomplished. A lot was learned and I will be putting together a leason learned that I will post here. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!! :ciao: :Rasta:

That's pretty much what I did on my last plant as well. Took me 6 days to trim her.

Wow! Congratulations on a very successful grow season! :high-five:

By the way, your Sour Cherries plant of the month entry looks amazing! I guess I'll wait until next month to enter my plant. :laughtwo:

Excellent job man. That's quite a haul. :bravo: :welldone:

Thanks MJ!! I appreciate it. It greatly exceeded our expectations. A great grow season certainly helped. Not all years will be this good, at least until I can get the greenhouse going and growing in it. If anything I will need to provide some sort of overhead covering on inclement weather periods during the late season at a minimum. This season we had very little rain and I was still battling bud rot so I can't imagine what it would be like in a cold wet grow season.
That's fantastic! Nice work! I'm thrilled for you that the DTF yielded so well! I'll be sure to put one in my outdoor run next year. Woof! thats a sweet yard grow!
Thanks Otter!! The difference on in ground vs potted plants was crazy. Next year I think I will do two plants in the veggie garden and see how they do. The craziest part of that whole DTF plant was I didn't water it once after the 15th of August. I kept waiting for it to show a sign of wilting before giving her some H2O but it never happened. So the full flower cycle with zero waterings LOL. That part is still the most amazing thing to me. I know how much effort it took to water the potted girls throughout flower and how much water they drank. Baffling as hell to me how I didn't have to water when we weren't getting any rain. I really dig the no watering LOL. Don't get ANY easier than planting it, get the roots to take and let her do her thing!

That's pretty much what I did on my last plant as well. Took me 6 days to trim her.

Thank you Beez. A LOT of effort went into the Sour Cherries. Its the only plant I did any training on outdoors. The rest were just set em and forget em. Took a lot to get her into that shape and to have her be able to completely support herself. I think of all the plants I have grown to date, the Sour Cherries is the one I take the most pride in. That doesn't even talk to the quality of smoke off her. She is an amazing smoke.....one of my favorites.
:thumb:Very impressive Van, outstanding job:theband::woohoo:
Dynamo, thank you bud! I appreciate it and the visit! Hope all is well in your neck of the world.

That's a lot of doobies! Great job.

Highya VS,

Wow! Those are seriously frosty buds!! Gets me drooling just looking at them!! What is BCP?

Don't you like the warm feeling you get thinking about all the bud stashed away, all trimmed and ready for another winter?!? I think about that after every harvest.

Congrats on excelling past your goal with the outdoor growing. I so enjoy my garden plants!! Happy Smokin'
