Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Morning Van and Mrs. Stank:) everything seems to be in order here, as usual!
My wife's mother was a Newfie. Newfies are really good people. Some are goofy as can be. She has uncle's that I can barely understand when they talk
I love NL and all the wonderful people that live there. I go visit my besties out there every couple of years and just love that province...so many of my longest term friends are from the east coast. I feel like part of my heart is in Newfoundland:)

She has about 2 inches left and she will be at the 6" mark from the light. I can always bend her outwards a bit. Give her a little "flare"

How are plants reacting to that close distance? Just wondering since we use similar lights. I've been going at ~16-18" from top of apex cola & ~20-24" from most of canopy. Always tempted to go closer but man these things are bright & intense so seem to do ok w/ a little more distance. :Namaste:

Yup...they sound too close to me too. Best way i found is to put lights at the very top, leave them there, adjust plants for desired height with boxes , empty pots etc. I never have to though ,..just let the plants grow into the array. Budmaster 2 is my only light on right now , for about a month , and it's at the top, about 4feet to plant tops. Too much /too strong lights , on young plants is NOT good. They are simply not developed enough to properly handle it Demands on all other limiting factors increases a lot cuz plant has to try and use all that light...just sayin OK!

Thats what I did with this light Duggs. Its at its highest position barring me figuring out what else to do with the fan and filter.

The tips are showing some stress signs but I am going to kind of watch for a bit longer before I start bending the tops too much. She just keeps on stretching! Fook me LOL. She is closing in on a 100% stretch LOL. Good thing I flipped her early!

I have spoken to the folks at Fluence (excellent customer service by the way) and why they say all strains are different, we should be able to run the light as close as 6" with no issues. Well we are gonna test that claim with this damn Stankberry plant for sure!!

gotta say though ...the weather.....bahh!....

that is an understatement! need a thick skin to live on the rock lol its nice in the summer when it isnt raining

only info i can give on poop, is horse poop, and you want it composted for a minimum of 3yrs if its mixed with straw or shavings... Dug into the back of the pile on farm we lease for my veggie gardens last spring, probably 10-15 years old... used it as the base and put triple mix and sheep manure on top.... 4x8 bed, figured 5 tomato plants would have lots of space... Until their roots hit the good stuff... 7ft tallx6ft wide tomato plants, actually had to get the ladder and bring steel rods home from work for support... A tomato jungle lol
