Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Everything looking steller as usual Stanks! But that DTF looks insane!!:welldone:
Thanks bud! Its really growing out nicely. Waiting to start identifying smells but she's not really giving me anything distinct.

Lets see I used an ounce of Northern Lights from the seeded plant (NL x Harlequin) and an ounce of my fluffy White Widow bud, along with 7-10 grams of Harlequin, 10 grams African Meltdown, 10 grams of Tangie Ghost Train. I used all buds, no trim this time (trim will be used in the bubble hash machine I have yet to use. So a bit over 3 zips with my two cups of coconut oil. I was going for mostly indica and hybrid with some Sativa that has some THC-V. I have found the capsules when using a Sativa with THC-V in it really help as an appetite suppressant. Its helped me lose 40+ lbs in the last year. I don't eat nearly as often or as much.

And you know the great thing about being away from the city? You are away from the city!! You can always drive into a city and see a baseball game or anything else I want to see. You can't wake up in the city every day and look out to see a deer, a bear, a moose, bobcats, coyotes, a fisher cat, or have the view I have! We have hundreds of oaks, maples, birches, beech, white pine and other gorgeous trees. Boston is an hour if I want to see anything it has to offer (which I don't LOL).

I think this morning at -11f it would freeze before it hit the ground. Damn cold out there with the horses this morning.

Thats not too bad. We are at -3 with wind chill of -28. Thats a bit cooler than I like for going outside. Gotta get the wood stove going, thats for sure. Basement got down to 57 last night....might need to invest in one of those heating mats afterall.

And they can be near those places! I don't want them out here anywhere near here or me lol!
I am from the city. Born and raised. I moved to the country about 10 years ago. Now I hate driving in to the city fighting traffic. I love it in the sticks!

Hey I know the life we choose to life isn't easy. Cutting wood to stay warm isn't easy. Growing and harvesting your own food isn't easy. Convenience is nice....but it leaves and emptiness that doesn't get filled the same way doing things for ourselves does. The less we have to go to the store for, the happier we tend to be.

I don't need a play or the newest movie to see.....we have trees and animals and nature to watch. We don't need to go to an opera or concert, the animals and trees and wind and streams give us a concert every day. No thanks, we are good here.

Amen.

I'm with you 1000% stank! Not sure if you saw the story in my journal, last winter, at my lakefront camp, I watched a lone coyote chase down and kill a deer, it took its time eating it and pulling off hunks to bring to its den or whatever, while away 2 bald eagles swooped in for a meal, at one point the coyote was almost off the lake with a big hunk of deer and a fisher cat strolled by, the coyote dropped the hunk of deer and went after the fisher, guess who swooped in and grabbed that hunk of deer, you got it, one of the Eagles, being no match for the nasty fisher the coyote came back just a few minutes later and was looking around for the hunk of meat which was gone.

And to think, I could've been watching some crappy movie, fighting traffic or smelling the urine soaked streets in any given city.

I have a creek in my back yard at my main home, a few weeks ago I saw a king fisher land on a branch right above the stream so I pulled out my cell phone and started taping, sure enough it took a dive and grabbed a pretty nice sized fish, tried to eat it but wound up dropping it, kept recording and got another catch on tape, this time it was able to eat it, pretty cool stuff.

:high-five:
Good place to be!

:passitleft:

Yup, I will take looking at trees and nature over concrete and skyscrapers anyday for my "good view".
Took me a minute to get used to the idea that huge Rat snakes aren't there to eat me, and you won't die from scorpions....once I got used to the critters, I was good to go. LoL
