I am not sure Bobby. I have a list with a few possibilities. We might run a DTF and then something from Nirvana, possibly the Blackberry.Good looking plants Stank. What's next?
Can anyone recommend a manufacturer of a good quality (doesn't have to be the best or most expensive) grow tents? I currently grow in a 2x4 Vivosun. I am considering gifting that one to a friend and getting a taller one (mine is 5') and I'm having to bust a lot of main stems cause they're getting too tall.
I was admiring those structures as well Shed - beautiful stacking VS!
Screen shot taken thanks grizzThought I'd have a mosey over what ya doing... Looking good man....
Kingjoe, id be looking at genetics and more so early strains and breeds, early pearl eQueen eSkunk ehaze et cetera lol
Great thanks for the advice I will consider this next year if I greoHey Joe, I would probably stick to some of the older strains that have actually been worked. Most of these new strains coming out aren't ever worked for stability and reliability. I would stick to Afghani, Hindu, Northern Lights, Skunk, Big Bud, etc that have been breed to be hearty and resistant to cooler temps and the tougher climate that you experience up there brother. I would stick to hybrids or indicas up there.

Such a packed perpetual grow

I use Vivosun for both my 2x4 and my 4x4. Never had a complaint with their tents at all.
Can I ask you guys a bit about this light-proof thing and tents please?
I’m usually an outdoor grower so new to the indoor caper.
Many folks say it’s absolutely crucial and the tiniest light leak is not ok. Others seem more casual. Recently I returned a tent (midrange price wise) with lots of holes (mostly in the stitching but some in the actual fabric). I got a Gorilla instead, ok. So this Gorilla is awesome - super sturdy and the zips are so easy I can move them with my fingernails practically.
Thing is, there’s bigger holes in some of the stitching than the cheaper (returned) one had, and one really big leak at the side of one of the windows - like it wasn’t lined up properly during manufacture. The window on the other side doesn’t have it.
I don’t know what I should do. It’s such a pain. And maybe folks would tell me not to stress about it, but these are not cheap and this one doesn’t seem lightproof - in terms is “leakiness”. How much should I be just putting up with here? There aren’t as many leaky spots as the cheaper tent, but a few of them are quite a bit bigger.
Any advice appreciated.
With the cheaper one, some folks said I should just put up with it and fix the leaks myself. The retailer was happy to refund tho. I suppose I really thought the Gorilla wouldn’t come close to having that issue.
I suppose one question is - how much of an issue is it?
