Yeah I just rip it off....used to be a pain but now it's a breeze.
Just got back some pigs from the butcher...opted for some pork belly (as opposed to bacon) to try out a few recipes on the Pit Barrel.
Damn dude, those look amazing! I've never been able to master ribs. I've since given up and buy the packaged pre-cooked baby backs and just throw them on the grill to heat them up. Pretty damn good for 20 minutes or so on the grill. I know it's not the same but they taste good and don't take all day. Someday though I will try it like you pros again. My hat's off to ya, they look really F'n good Van!
I boil mine in coffee for 30 minutes or so until they start to get tender then throw them on the grill to sauce them up good and carmelize it.
I just googled this to see if you were pulling our leg (you aren't) and I also saw you can add Kahlua to the sauce for similar effect....daaaaammn.
Coffee is an old school trick lol
Do you get jacked from the caffeine? Not wanting to get my kids hooked just yet!

I raise angus beef, grain and grass fed, I recently traded 75# of burger for a whole pig smoked, cut and wrapped. Delicious. Been researching the best tasten pigs to raise. Clients are always asking and I know nothing about pig breeds.

Hawaiian Mayan Gold Clone Day 42
Been a while since I updated this girl. She has taken a while to pull through the crud she got after her Neem bath. Growth is still coming out funky at the top so I topped her today. Seems like it outgrows the funk after the initial funky leaves. She has some weird growth for sure but I am going to grow her out. She is a 1 gallon for the time being. Going to try to keep her a little while as we clear this bit of a back log in the veg tent. She ain't pretty but thats all due to my screw up on the Neem bath a few weeks back.
