Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

I believe its Fast Buds if I am not mistaken. I will post a link to the group grow for anyone that follows us here to check out. I think we have a good variety of mediums and set ups so should be a little something for everyone.

soil with bio nutes like agae based give the best taste and flavor but plants will be smaller and yield less, hydro is on the other end of the spectrum with large plants and yields but with plainer tastes

I think one of these days I will set up a DWC grow bucket and take two cutting and grow them side by side..one in soil and one in DWC and see what the difference in smells and tastes.

I guess what I am getting at is that I want to find out if the different mediums will drastically alter to terpenes, almost to the point of making them seem like different smell strains or phenos even though they are the same.

ive read good things about fast buds and ive been eyeballing their collection of autos as well lol :)
Now is a great time to buy auto seeds from FastBuds through the @SeedsMan site. They are having their Gold Rush promo. When you buy a 3 pack you get 2 extra of the same strain free. Buy a 5 pack and get 3 extra of the same strain free.

And if you do the math it is cheaper to buy the 3 packs and get 2 free.

Hey Van...about 12 yrs. Or so ago i gave a friend some original Super Silver Haze seeds to grow. He grew them in dirt outside.....he gifted some clones to another mutual friend and he grew the same seeds in hydrophonics.
I tried both on multiple occasions.....the stuff grown in dirt outside had all the taste you could ask for ...really nice flavor effect ...etc. The same stuff grown in hydrophonics had ZERO taste..with NO flavor.....just something i will never forget.....couldnt believe they were the same strain!
Cheers bud!

I believe it. I have a buddy of mine from Physical Therapy that brings me samples of different strains he picks up in dispensaries.....they all taste and smell the same to me. No where near as smooth, and doesn't smell anything like my girls. I have tried the Stankberry, the Nukehead, and the Jack Herer and all are way better smelling and tasting than anything he brings over.

He did bring over a strain he said was Purple Tangent and its a really nice bedtime med but I can't even mind anything about the strain. I would have tried to get seeds and grow it out. It doesn't smell great or taste great but damn it man, it can knock out an elephant or me pretty quickly. I mixed some with some ATF the other night and I was freaking out!!

So beyond being the same strain, these were the same plant. I've always heard that you can take 5 cuttings off a plant and grow them outdoors in the ground in 5 different locations across the US and the plants will smell and taste differently. And I'm sure chemicals used alters the smell and taste from it's original.

JH looks terrific and the uniformity of the branches makes it look even better. 4 ounces ain't too shabby off an auto :). NL is a beast. And if you run autos again you're gonna have to bag your soil as StankSoil and StankLight! Tastes great, less filling.

Anybody know what causes the leaves to look like so? Its in a very well balanced soil, only having ever received a neem foliar and 1 sprout tonic foliar. Maybe it didn't much care for the neem dilution (1 tbsp/gal)? Or am I off about that completely? Thanks everyone! :ciao:

Haha! That's why I bought the GGa for the group grow!
:high-five:
I try to only order seeds when they are running promos. If ya play it right, you can normally get free seeds from each different breeder who is running the promo, then more freebies from the distributor for the overall $ amount spent. My last order was for 15 seeds and I got 10 freebies!
Score :ganjamon:

Morning all, hope everyone having a great week.

Spent more time out in the veggie garden yesterday. Almost everything is done, should be able to finish the last raised bed today and then get the carrots planted (I hate planting carrots.....the seeds are so flippin' small). Ms Stank is taking today off to help with it so we should be able to get it done today.

Then we spent time recouping all the used Stank Soil from the 5 plants we have harvested so far this grow. Picked up 3 more 18 gallon totes and have them breaking that used soil down now. Going to start throwing scraps in there this week. Will probably start moving worms into there in 2 weeks. We are starting to run into a food scrap shortage so we were talking last night and think we might do a once a week food prep specifically for the worm bins.

Ms Stank up-potted her Hindu into a 10 gallon pot last night. I figure 10-14 days and she will be ready for flipping. Not sure which one will be ready for flipping first.....the Hindu or the White Widow. I am thinking the Widow needs about that same time for vertical growth before I am ready to flip her.

Will be doing updates of the Widow and Big Blue later today.

I am very curious on the scent differences @Van Stank

Now my Jack is in soil, ffof, but dosent have the poop and worm stuffs yers has

Now I do have the Blue Balls, ACDC x GDP, one in hempy one in DWC, but they smell the same as well

I wonder if it's your soil base that saturates your plants and alters or steers the scent down a certain road

It's is very interesting indeed
