Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Should be easy with all those beans. The hard part will be staying at plant count.

The flowers on the JH look a lot like OG flowers.

I was thinking that too. Smaller buds but very dense and full. It is a beautiful plant.

Impressed as always.... Don't know why...you always pull great results (mostly)..... :thumb:

Real nice outdoor garden. So neat & organized. On those "tamale" style wrapped buds......how do you avoid mold? :Namaste:

Well according to Sue and the experts that have been doing this for a while, the vacuum sealed bag prevents the mold. I have one that is beginning its 1st week of cure (30-90 days is recommended cure time), 1 that is on day 2 of its 7 day fermentation stage, and that one in the picture is about 18 hours into its 24 hour 'sweat' stage at about 109 degrees.

Will continue to do this will every harvest I do until I find a go to strain or I don't care for it.....but going off the reactions from @SweetSue and @neikodog I don't think disliking it will be an issue. I can't wait to try both smoking and eating it.

Yeah thats the biggest issue. But we have another 20 or so strains we want to run before we will really start pheno hunting on the Stankberry and DTF. Looking forward to it though!!

Congrats on the harvests, Stank family! Seeing Ms Stank's harlequin and then reading the stats perked me right up. Definitely on my wish list, so please update us with a smoke report when the time comes!

I'm curious about the cobbing too. I'm a newbie with everything it seems! Except the smoking part. Old hand at that lol. Anyway, how do you get the temps up to the low 100s? I assume you're talking Fahrenheit. My oven won't run that low, and it's "only" in the upper eighties and nineties outside here. (Of course, if you live in the Phoenix area, you could leave it in the garage during the day!)

Sounds like a great problem to have :p

Do any of you fine ladies and gentleman know if lacto bacillus serum will speed up or possibly ruin the process of a fermented fruit juice (banana FFJ in particular)? My LABS are only a day away from being finished up and im looking to make up another bottle of "magic" so to speak. :slide: I'm sure ive heard of LABS helping get a fermented plant juice going but wanted to clarify and be sure, as its going to be my go to for late veg/early flower boost! Thanks everyone!

I dunno anything about LABS but @Amy Gardner might be of some help (if she has the energy/time of course) as she has made it and used it.

Hey all, you caught me during an ‘alert’ period! @LaquerHead youre right that you’ve read the LABs will accelerate any FPJ, definitely. I can’t see how it could ruin it unless you use way too much, maybe. The only time I’ve ruined one, it spent too much time in the sun plus I had added sugar to the labs for storage. I no longer add the sugar. It’s not necessary and can lead to a higher quantity of the less desirable bacteria. These days I leave out sugar at the end of the LABs process and store it in the fridge. I think it’s much better :thumb:

So yeah - LABs will accelerate your FPJ. Too much sugar is bad (so considering it’s banana I would advise against using any sugar in the LABs). And don’t leave it in the sun!

One day I’ll make it back to your journal to check it out L’Head! Haven’t been up to date with this one for awhile either! Hi VS and Ms S :ciao:
Now that Shed has catapulted me to the current page... I’m sure I’ve probably missed some action with the Blue Dream... (and the rest...)

Happy weekend everyone :ganjamon:

@Amy Gardner, getting ready to upload the update for the Blue Dream as I type this. Been wondering where you ran off to as I hadn't seen you through here in a bit. I know we move fast sometimes and it can be tough to keep up. Hope things are well with you sista!:passitleft:
