Staker's 2017: SSSDH, Killer Purps, Dolato, Candyland & Breeder's Test Grows

Thanks friends, it's been a long day. :thanks:

Definitely mites, I had the microscope on them. Thrips are a walk in the park... the Chlamydia of pest diseases, I'd welcome it lol.

These things will be on my radar for a long time. A good excuse to throw out a bunch of shit that's been gathering around the house, a handful of years of crap. Almost threw out my mite spray haha... fucking universe.

Phase one done, all organic. I'll certainly burn it all and treat the clones that I don't plan on flowering with floramite if I have to, but I usually escalate only as needed. I saw maybe 20 eggs, maybe 15 of the borg. Mostly on the 707, but pretty even between the Veg and Flower room. Clones came in almost 2 months ago, so it really couldn't be that. Only thing that came in was one bag of soil about 10 days ago, so I'm kinda shaking my head at the cause if it wasn't that.

Hoping to open the tent tonight to see some still healthy plants. The Monteray leaves a film with the Spino which will dissipate. I'll foliar with water tomorrow, then again with Spino on Sunday. Then I'll watch and wait. I'll spino the top of the soil every day, and around the fabric. It's only a tiny patch, so multimodal organic may work. Topping with Diatoms after the next soil drench.

The 707 have about 4-5 weeks left, I'm not sure if there was a light leak or not early on, but they are stacking up nice finally, and might go longer than expected. There are 2 SSH to take their place. The D were looking great too, going to be fat and fragrant. :)

Nah..
Like I always say, Better living through chemistry.”

There’s a Right Way & a Wrong Way to use pesticides. The trick is, knowing which way is Right.

I'm not opposed to chemicals. I used tetradifon to get rid of the mites I had recently. (along with neem and spinosad)

I was offered floramite at that time. Did some reading on it. That is some hardcore stuff.

i looked up that floromite its a neurotoxin scary stuff!

I haven't looked it up but yeah, it's nuclear. I don't rule it out though, but only for the clones, not for plants that would be flowered out.

I'd give them months though, and take cuttings from new growth, grow those, and then take cuttings from that, to plant to be sure. :)

I don't smoke anything but my own at this point really, and the key reason is that I know it's safe (and potent af lol) and I don't have to smoke a bale of it either. Anyway, the organics seem to be working well. I found some leafs with some movers on them still...but they looked see through, so very young. I found a couple mature ones still moving, but they might die soon, or I'll get them on the next round. I will spray the soil line every couple days, these guys are going down. :cheertwo:

HarkaMectin – Spot On Treatment for parasites
Good for organic and doesn't hang around, non systemic.. google it..

Just gave it a look. Pigeon spray lol. I'm probably to order another line of offense, so I'll add this to the list. There's some threads bout this, so I'll just do some reading. OK, coming back, this looks like it could be the winning ticket as line #3, I'm going to order it, cheap too. Thanks Grizz :Namaste:

Whew lol, still looking good. Group.

ChemD is in front, Day 19 of 12s, Day 12 Flower. If you look, you can see the STSD in the rear, just starting to stretch a bit after a prune and flip. She went in yesterday, cuz... well, I've been lazy. So STSD is day 2 of 12s, she went in 11/8.

And starting to really push it out is the 707HB in the back, she's Day 34 of 12s, Day 25 Flower.. she's real lush, you can see some of the variegation. The ecsd has it, and this girl has a double dose of her. She's much like her too, in the way she grows. Trichs are turning slightly gray/pink and railing up. Pale green calyxes, deep green leafs, gorgeous plant.

I read them for you... U.K. Growers threads.. all I know that everybody uses here is propargite omite, but I wouldn't recommend. Don't know enough about it.. never had them here (bongs crossed) Rather start again than be worried of cancer poison type of shit. Airborne, in plants, on plants etc no thanks.. every bong or toke that tasted different I'd be wondering.. seal it and co2..

Still looking extremely healthy, so you must have caught those mites very early!

Beautiful plants CS, and I don't doubt you will get the mites under control.

That's really the thing isn't it. Sealing. I could, but the tanks ... meh, but I could go generator lol, and get serious for real. Mite are real recent, so I'm pretty sure it was that last bag of dirt, unless the guys downstairs are growing again and caught some. They aren't making any headway (fingers crossed). Winter here too, that'll help. That mectin has to ship from UK. Oh, well, worth it. Spino and a cleaning out though, for 9 days, 3 days between sprays, and then we'll see where they are. :passitleft:

They aren't even bothered by them, there's no marks. I've gone over so many leafs, and while I did find a couple of spots that looked like dung, I couldn't find any spots that were eaten. I thought maybe the corner of one variagated leaf, but really there's no damage above ground that I can see at 60x mag. Flowers will be real real nice. :)

Agreed. :high-five: I'm just happy they took it well. They'll be up for another dose or two. Mostly the lower leafs on the 707s which are the only real stinky ones as of yet, so it makes sense. Viglance. I gotta keep at em, but I think the flowers will still be real nice. :Namaste:

So, on another forum that won't be mentioned here, I see a few of the old timers running HSO 707 HB. They swear blind, that whatever else HSO may or may not have done, they got the breeding on this one right. Some of them are also breeders/pollen chuckers. I ordered some of those beans now to find out for myself. Even though I vowed never to buy from HSO again. LOL! Did I mention that the blue dream was really nice smoke? :cheesygrinsmiley: Especially the ugly one you said reminded you of the clone doing the rounds in your area a few years back.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Anyone here ever run HSO's 707?

I've had some good stuff from them. It won't be the original, but I'd bet there's some decent plants to be found. I'm not a huge fan of HSO, I've run a bunch of there stuff, the 707 Truthband, which incidentally was my fave plant they had. It had potential to find a keeper, but I had a shitty run at a friends garden, and I lost the few I was working with. Anyway, I'd run it if I didn't have this one, which looks like it won't yield as horribly as I thought :)

I did not like their BD that much. It was good if you found a nice haze leaner that still had some low end punch, but I ran more than a couple full packs of that and kept nothing. Might have been the run, but it wasn't what I wanted. Hell, my StrawD cut uses a SD cut that isn't the read deal, and I love the shit out of it, so it's not about the name game. :high-five:

Yeah for sure. A champion is where you find it.

Apologies for the short reply. Daughter is sick. Nothing serious...

I've grown a few HSO strains and loved the 707 Headband. My favorite was their Chemdawg. I also loved their Og Kush, and Amherst Sour Diesel. I got a couple of their Black Dogs vegging that NCW rated as a 9 out of 10 which is saying something! I also got a 10 pack of their Blue Dream that I've been dying to pop so I hope I get some fire out of it.
