Squiggle Is Testing The Sylstar GL4000a: Multi Strain Grow, In A Brand New Set Up!

when it was illegal to grown in canada thats usually all we did was clones, a group of us had a few moms we kept and just swap clones. now it's legal i have huge seed collection and just do a few strains 1 seed each then clone them for extra plants for my mates.

i've almost given up on the auto's a few times because i don't find them strong enough stone. but i've started buying from companies that specialize in auto flowers and got some killer smooth smoke from them so happy. i also like the auto's because i can do a few in my mom room and they change so fast they add a little more excitement to a grow.

cheers mate and stay green :peace:
It’s illegal here. You can’t even import Barney’s Seeds.

It’s super annoying.

Howdy do guys.. how's it growing?

Just a quick picture update.. everything is still chooching along nicely..

No issues at all with the plants
Oh!! This new AC infinity fan has changed my life..
It will automatically come on and suck the hot and humid air out when it reaches the parameters I've set and then it shuts it's self down.. it will come on every other minute to exchanges the air and then shut down again..
No more exhaust fans blasting away 24/7
Highly recommended..

Oh!! The plants. Heres the white widow auto. She's done well considering that she was a lanky seedling and I knocked her pot over twice and exposed her roots..

The Blue Berry OG has one of the nicest green colours I've seen.. she hasn't been trained, as I wanted to see what shape she naturally is..
Here she is

She's just starting to let me know she needs a drink.

And here's the Sour Diesel. Same as the others, happy and healthy

Heres a group shot

That's it for tonight folks.. they will be getting a dose of organic nutrients tomorrow and I may give the White Widow a PK boost..
As always, thank you so much for popping in and showing your support, I really appreciate it.

Oh!! Funny story..
I had a weird dream last night that my plants had a deficiency; and to rectify it, I had to Pee on my plants.. well,, good job I woke up when I did; I had sleepwalked into the tent and I had my knob in my hand, ready to give them a golden shower..
Never trust dreams..

Anyway thanks again

I like the way you have the picture links right in your update as your reading, and funny thing about your sleep walking story, got one similar! I use to sleepwalk in my twenty’s, after drinking and lived back at home for a bit with mom and dad. One night I got up and went into my parents room instead of washroom and came way to close to peeing on my parents whiles they slept! Awkward moments to say the least! Happy smoking! Oh, plants look great and cool to see the Blue Berry OG grow naturally!

How embarrassing:laugh: imagine if you hadn't if woke up at the right time. Now that wouldve been awarded.
Thanks for the compliments mate, really appreciate it.
When will your grow be up and running?

Wet, dry cycle and over watered plant in soil; in pictures.

Hi guys. Just thought I would do a pictorial for new growers; on how to read your plant and when it needs watered or when it has been over watered.

This is a BlueBerry OG, just showing the first signs of needing water.
Notice the slight droop of the leaves.
Picture 1
Screenshot_20210724-173921.jpeg

Picture 2
Screenshot_20210724-181112.jpeg

This is the same plant (picture 4) a day later, she is as dry as i like them to get. I weighed the pot to feel how lights it was and I also have a little door at the bottom of the pot, that I can check the base of the soil.
Screenshot_20210710-230000.jpeg

Notice how the lower and mid leaves have completely dropped and look lifeless. This is the stage I water at.
Picture 4
20210724_075544~2.jpg

Now this is the same plant a day later and fully hydrated , it was watered to a 20% run off.
Pictures 5
20210724_172539.jpg

Picture 6
Screenshot_20210724-173032.jpeg

Now this is the same plant (Picture 7) that has been heavily over watered. It's been watered to run off every day for 4 days..(do not do this, this was for experimental purposes only) it has a similar look to a dry plant. But the subtle difference is the colour and weight of the leaves.. they are a darker green and feel heavier than that of the dry plant. Do not let your plant go this far. If you have over watered by accident, tip your pot on its side and drain as much excess water out as possible.. then leave it for at least 4 days, untill the medium becomes dry again.. blowing a fan directly over the soil can help to evaporate excess water.
Picture 7
Screenshot_20210724-173208~2.jpeg

I would not recommend letting the plant get any dryer than picture 4. The new growth would also be drooping. The soil gets compact and hard. It takes staged watering to get it fully hydrated again. You have to give 100ml at a time and wait a few minutes for it to soak in. I believe it can also damage the roots
Hope this helps...

Hi guys.
I could do with any input on this post. Have I missed something? Have I got it totally wrong? This method has always worked for me. But is it the correct way? I just thought it would be helpful for brand-new growers to have something to compare too..
Be honest, my feelings can not be hurt.. thanks in advance

When will your grow be up and running?
I’m ready to start now, just debating on putting in a window a/c in first as right now it’s quite warm, making in the tent really warm! Won’t be long though and will be starting a Grow Journal when I do.

Sound as mate.
Very informative and easy to follow..
I always shiver a bit when I see droopyness( Bud word) in the tent. I’ll not worry so much anymore:)
Unless of course somebody else chimes in with ‘ do worry’ :)

Ha, droopyness. Yup. That's what I look for. It's always worked for me. They seem to bounce back stronger. But is it right? Glad it has settled your mind a bit.. thanks for the compliments
