The clone thing sucks. But what really sucks is I have 5 nice bagseeds germing and not one of them has popped. These gals had a couple of nice outdoor plots waiting on em. :hmmmmm:
The 3 Bubba Kush seeds have tho. :) I May be forced to stick one of them outside. Time's running out for Spimp to start an outdoor adventure...

I chopped this morning and did Doc Bud's Bud Washing on them. I blogged his method if anyone is interested.
I was very nervous about it since I had never done it before, but so far so good! :thumb:
I have some pics of the buds drying and I also took a pic of a little bud after the washing so you can see the trics. I was nervous because even Doc Bud admits there will be some tric loss (1-5%) but as you can see, The results make me very happy. :) I inspected the leaves of this and another bud and see no mites or mite eggs. Thats gonna allow me to save the trim for some kief. :slide:

Im gonna head out of town for a day or two. Right in the middle of a few grows :rofl:
Im leaving the Sour D in dark for about 30 hrs, and my BK beans will be under CFL vegging til I return. Its kinda funny how it went down...
Mrs Spimp had been wanting to take a little trip with the Kiddo Spimp's. Last night we were debating as to if we should go or not, what with all the farming I have going on.
We decided to take a Bong Break in the middle of the discussion. When we returned and sat on the couch, a commercial was just finishing and it flashed on the screen-- "Go and Smell the Roses" :geek:

So we are off :rofl:

I returned from my trip to find a few good things and a few bad. The Sour D is growing swimmingly. As are the Bubba Kush Sprouts (although one seems to be a mutant). I wont be updating pics on those girls here, As I plan to start a new journal shortly.
With my change over to HPS I feel a new journal is in order. Kindaa Pre/Post kinda thing. Once the GDP is dried and weighed this journal will be complete.

In other news, R.I.P. Clone-abees. :rip:
Well, almost. Im down to 3 and they have been moved from medium/bubble cloner into a shot glass with SNS604A+tap. Basically Im making them comfortable before they pass. ;)

All in all im very happy about my bubble cloner. I took some flowering scraps that sat in dirt for 3 days after trimming and was able to get roots on them in the cloner. Yes they are basically dead now, but It was further than i have been before. And the plant they were taken from was sickly, revegged, and root bound.
Hopefully with some healthy veg-ing cuttings this cloner will show me the roots!

I have not weighed it, And I may not. :) Its pretty fluffy and a lot more clear/cloudy than I prefer. But due to My negligence I had to cut out some rot and I thought my best chance to save her was to pull before she got worse.
The combination of the reveg + CFL's produced way way too many leaves and I was never able to trim her properly enough to keep the moisture down. The branching so was clustered that what would appear to be a bud may have been 5 branches so close that the inner leaves were deforming and causing major problems.

I will say it appears what I do have will be some pretty decent smoke and I learned some valuable lessons about reveging, plant structure and what happens to neglected plants.

I have decided to Close this journal. This started as a CFL only journal and I think its only fitting that with the change of my lighting, I let this Girl be the last one.

I have received so much help from everyone here--whether through instruction or just good positive vibes.This place has been nothing but good to me and I hope to return the favor as much as possible. I will start a new journal shortly and I will either post a link back here or you will be able to find it in my signature.

Anyone who has posted, 'liked', helped, or even just lurked, your presence was greatly appreciated. Thank you from the Bottom of my Spimpy Heart guys and Gals!!
