I was noticing the other day, because I have two different kinds of lights in my tent, that if I hold my hand over a plant to cast a shadow, I can get some cool lighting effects from the other light. For example, I can get purple shadow areas if I block out the whiter light. I decided to take some pictures with the lights on and using my flash and Macro lens. Let me know what you think.
These bud pics are from both plants, can you tell the difference? Dolly was much less developed when this process started.
Edit: Hey can you tell if these trichomes are clear or cloudy?

Very nice shots, Age. I zoomed in on the trichs, but couldn't really tell if clear or cloudy. I didn't really see any amber, so you still have a ways to go, but man they look nice and frosty

Cool, so im just looking for a 50% or so color change? I can use my macro for that. Ill post up some higher res pics when i get back to the Lighthouse.

Are you looking for couchlock? To me, 50% amber is far too much. I prefer 10-20% unless it's strictly for insomnia, and even then don't go any higher than 25-30%.
It's really a personal choice though. Kinda like "Dial-a-Stone"

25% got it. I like to be able to think, move and be mobile. Most of the time when I smoke I'm active, throwing the frisbee or playing ping pong. We usually mix in some nice beers as well, you get the idea. I don't like to be a couch potato when I'm high, I save the vegging for the come down.

Damn those are some beautiful buds man.. i can see the trichromes in the last set of pics they look mostly clear to me. Very frosty though, they look dense too. I would do 10% amber if you are wanting to move around more, that is what i am shooting for with my day time smoke. After you harvest more turn amber during the cure so you dont want too many if you plan on not smoking all your weed right away lol

My friends wife was telling she wants all the clippings so she can make butter. I just started laughing at her. I may not share anything with her after a comment like that. Im going to see Roger Waters on June 21st, hopefully i'll have cured nugs for the show.

I got to see him at Desert Trip, pretty much in my backyard. Then i found out hes touring and releasing a new album. I got tickets for $70 each.

Hes gonna be in Detroit, on August 2nd 2017. And plenty of dates up in Canada for all the Floydians up north.

It's my friend Dave around the corner. We ususally snap a bowl and then go throw the flat bird. Occasionally, his wife will be around when we bong n pong, she's started smoking again since I've been going over there. I think she feels the need to impress me or prove she's 'cool.' It's funny when she smoked her first bowl, after a five year 5 break, I was there and she was talkin shit to me. I started laughing and then started fucking with her. You know how you can just talk directly to someone and take over there high? I did that to her it was great, me and Dave were just laughing our asses off. It was like she was hypnotized...
Maybe I'll leave some of the lowers on extra long just for her. You know those 90% amber/ cloudy buds you guys were talking about, just put her on couchlock, nighty night, dreamtime for the evening.

The best part is when she decides to be a net judge during bong pong. Dave serves and i just hit the ball at her, i put it right off her forehead, it took her a couple seconds to realize what was going on. Good Times!
