Classic Clones - Flower Day 54

The Classic Clone Team got watered yesterday and looked good this morning. I just sat there and gazed. Chemdawg is my wake n bake this morning. It's sort of a get-her-done effect with a little sit and gaze. Lalalala

One ASD has some very slight amber. I didn't get to look at the Panamas or Chemdawg with the loupe.

I finished all the trim and pressed another puck. This time I managed to do it properly. I'm getting a little excited about collecting some more kief with all the little buds I have in jars. I also need to make some more oil and some wax and whatever as I now have overflow jars stored in my dresser drawer and a cabinet. I thank God for my abundance but this is getting crazy around here.

I bought a collapsible mesh 6 layer dryer that I think I'm really going to like for small buds. This thing was packaged in a plate size zipper bag and they fly out like a jack-in-a-box and expand like 3 or 4 times the original size. Scared the crap out of the cats. :thedoubletake: Scared me. I haven't a clue how I would get them back in that little bag.

Cold here this morning but I may go out and attempt to rake up all the Sweet Gum balls that the wind last week brought down. What a mess!

Have a great day folks. I sure appreciate you stopping by. Get out there and vote in the contests too.

Classic Clones - Flower Day 55

Chemdawg is in my pipe again this morning and that first toke was sublime; filled with chem/fuel/lemon tastes and the freshness of a spring shower. Whew! I get excited about my own product. The kicker: I was smoking a bottom bud. Back down to earth now as the last toke was not quite as good. I think I'll load my vaporizer today.

The clones are requiring less water. Growing in small pots is interesting yet I don't recommend it. I think to do it properly would require just a bit less perlite in my mix. Just guessing there considering my watering habits.

RH jumped up overnight (58% in tent) as clouds covered us here and we had an angry red sky at sunrise this morning.

My day is not planned so I need to figure out what I should do. 76.4 is the average life expectancy for a US male per CNBC just a moment ago. I guess I better begin planning my next grow.

Have a great day! Congrats to all the winners out there.

Good morning magical one. :hugs:  I'm working my way to my yard, and you were on my way. :kisstwo:

Thanks. Another hug? :hugs::hugs::hugs: *giggle*. This'd be a tough day to be down, if that were even a possibility for me anymore. Lol!

Jim, I find the lower buds to be extraordinarily potent. I think the bias against lower buds is misplaced. Ever compare the rate of trichome production going on at the bottom?......of course you have. Who do I think I'm talking to? :laughtwo:

Let me get a move on here. I'm going out to breakfast with a friend to celebrate. :slide:

The Classic girls are just growing in there - I guess. One doesn't see much growth at this stage. New pistils down low on the largest Panama. There is a smattering of amber trichomes throughout the Amherst Sour Diesels. These could come down at any time.

I did include one very resinous picture of an ASD bud and the main colas on two Blue Dreams. Pretty in my mind; although my mind is clouded with Blue Dream this morning. :bongrip:

I'd love to remove all the crispy leaves from the Panamas but if I did that I might as well harvest those.

Enjoy your day folks. I'm going to try to get to all my subs today.

The Amherst is looking amazing Jim.
I would be very interested in how she smokes.

Cheers.

I wasn't excited by the ASD when I harvested the mom. It was much better than street weed but I was comparing it with the others - Blue Dream, Chemdawg and the Panama (green). Tough comps!

I will revisit this situation after a short cure. I bet it got better.

Cheers.

Major PITA gave me the idea and this is how I do it. If this doesn't center you in the proper spot, it's post #965

Fun In The Sun 2016 - Tiger - Ape - Pitbull - Gorilla & More - Run Wild

So, you used Major's technique? What plant material did you use to make that pellet of hash? How much plant material went into the making of? I've been freezing bits and pieces for a while now, and I have the materials gathering, I still need the screens, but that's it. I want to try this. Did you have fun with it Jim? How long did it take you to make that puck, and lastly, will you be doing it again?

Chew tells me the Blue Dream was one of his best euphoric experiences. Arctic Bowl once said if they could grow this one would have been their first choice. I need to track down the wayward seed vouchers from last month's contest and get some ordered.

How would you rate it against your incredible stash Jim?

I still didn't hear how Panama smoked or I missed the report. If that's the case I'm sorry.

Hi con. I think I have found the Blue Dream to be so much to my liking that the others have taken a seat in waiting.

Panama is one of the mildest smokes as it seems I exhale quite a bit more than goes in. I only taste the exhale and it's very tasty as I've associated it with a sense of being around floor wax or perhaps floor stripper. My sense of taste and smell are deficient.

Hits the top of head pretty hard, is speedy sorta zippy. Would probably be deemed psychedelic if consumed in large quantities. It bet it would make a great wax or rosin. A little dab will do ya. It will make one feel relaxed in the arms and perhaps the legs. I'm trying to remember if I felt a bit wobbly but that could have easily been over-consumption. You will appreciate your music.

I wish I were better at this but that's what I get so far.

Did I hear the words "zippy" and "possibly psychedelic "??????? This sounds like a sales pitch in my direction, oh Magical One. I believe I'll have to get me some of those seeds. Maybe it'd be easier if I just relocated to the neighborhood Jim, and helped you smoke up that incredible stash. :battingeyelashes:

Good morning Jimmy. :hugs:  I've been wandering around catching up. It really is time to roll out of this bed. You know, for a while I tried leaving the iPad in the other room, but then I simply picked it up on my way back to bed after a drink, so why not give in and keep it next to the bed? Then I get to wake up laughing and ooooing and awwwwwwing for the first hour.

Times up! Into the steamy shower. Later buckaroo. :kisstwo:

The material was dried trim and fans from the harvest of all the Classic moms plus all trim from my closet which had been stored in paper bags. Amounts.... I don't know but I have all the remainder material so I'll weigh it at some point. Battery is dead in my kitchen scale. So weight I don't know. So I suggest using dried material since that's what I did. I know I've a lot of fresh green stuff frozen in my freezer but have not used it for frozen dry sift. Here's what the trim looked like after marble pounding.

I did have fun doing this as you only really work for about two minutes at a time. Shake shake shake. I had the best result using the 100 mesh screen from the site Major suggested. In addition, I also scraped anything that stuck to the screen inside. Some might consider this contamination if they were full melt connoisseurs. My stoner standards are flexible.

Blue Dream is incredible and I think I can grow it better. It's at the top of my favorite strains right now. I have a new challenge. I'm going to create a mix of a few strains here and then see what happens.

Well, based on that, if I were going to choose between the two strains I might go with the Blue Dream. It's getting the highest marks from everyone who's tried it. This may be one of the regular medicinal strains I'm seeking.

Since I won more seeds, I may be able to score both strains though. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Thanks for the hash rundown. I may try defrosting some of those leaves and see what I may be able to get from them. I don't know if that's possible to do, but then I haven't tried any yet, have I? I'll take some out today and see what happens. I do have some trim lying about. I'll keep adding to it and at some point I'll be ready to give the technique a go.

Hey.... sweet little slide show. :high-five:

You hit the right spots for a sativa... and all yourbud will get even better if you go High Brix.

Classic Clones - Flower Day 58

I was wondering if today would ever get here. All the ASDs have some small percentage of amber trichs so I'll take them down today and hang 'em in the barn. I thought the Chemdawg would be close but it's just starting to get milky. So that's my plan for the day as soon as I get some breakfast.

Enjoy your day folks. Clear skies finally arrived after a couple days of clouds and rain. :high-five:

Here's a pipe full of Blue Dream for ya :bongrip:
