This is so much nicer and quicker than firing up the torch to heat the nail of the oil rig. But I stayed really messed up all day....

Oh Jim..... The vapor pen has to be my favorite toy. It's difficult to keep up with demand. :laughtwo: I ran out of wax way back and have dreamed of more ever since. Lol!

So glad to hear the hurricane got downgraded and damn! Your garden looks wonderful. :high-five: Enjoy the buzz.

So yesterday is like a blur. I got into this batch of shatter and this pen. Spooky how high you can get. I'm already twisted pretty good today from my wake n bake. :bongrip:

I stitched together two photos this morning. Both of the Blue Dream from Sept 2 and Sept 15. Interesting what two weeks of growth looks like even with the pruning I gave her yesterday. I topped BD of her two longest branches and those two cuts went to the cloner.

I pruned something the day before but I haven't a clue right now which one it was. My plan is to just keep cutting the terminal end of a branch to promote new branching. I'll keep repeating until I'm ready to put them in flower.

Nice contrast shot of the Blue Dream Jim. It's startling how much they change in such a short time. Lots of great color in this batch, but that's pretty much the norm for you.

The main reason I don't have one. I would be puffing away all day....LOL

I don't do portable devices for that exact reason.

I am actually leaning more towards a Storz & Bickel Mighty or Plenty. They are pricey, but I like the option vape Wax or Flower.
I am not a fan of the volcanos.

I guess it was PeeJay or Atrain that used to do a before and after at one week intervals. I'm going to prune again today.

I have a portable Flowermate but only for dry material. I've never enjoyed the Flowermate this much.

Doing dabs through a vape pen is so unique. Too easy to over do it. I struggle when I'm too f*&ked up to drive.
 
Back in early March I made my first batch of Concentrated Cannabis Oil (CCO). Most of the CCO was mixed with Grape seed oil and I use that sublingual. I scraped the rest of it into a small pyrex bowl and put it in my freezer. When I got this vape pen that oil had the quality of shatter so that's what I used to dab. Frozen, the oil is scraped from the bowl. I used a flat screw driver, razor blade and dab tool to collect it all into the little cup that came with the pen. All pretty neat.

It looked pretty ugly but most of the oil was amber. Gravity will move the impurities to the bottom. Tastes great, less filling.

Shatter

At room temperature, a portion of the substance could be pulled from the blob and will snap off. In the following pic, you can see the crystallized partially frozen stuff at the left of the glob at room temp.

Only problem here is the skillet of this pen is ceramic and gets all gooky and pen company recommends that they be changed every month. They declare them consumables and charge $15 + shipping for the cheapest. It's like a razor. Buy new blades and use same handle.

Hi Dennise. It depends. Some vaporizors equipped for only dry material. Others have mods for dabs or e-juice. You'll need to consult your Operators Manual or seach internet or ask someone who owns one.


Panama cuts/clones

So I'm sure you remember the Panama cuts I took on Sept 8 and put in the DIY cloning bucket. Here's a pic of the most advanced cut with roots coming out. The rest are not showing or have only nubs. I might have to clean or replace the little sprayers in there.

I'm certainly not claiming any victory here but things are looking up for the cuts. Another couple of days and we should have some 4 inch roots to work with.

Magic Man is right D, my vape will only do dry bud. No option to be able to use shatter or liquids at all. Of course, it's a cheapy though.

You should definitely check into yours and give it a try if you can do it.
