Solo Grow Challenge 2014

Yee Haw! And it's on. Who will get the first sex organ showing? Stumped, you probably know more about most of the strains running in this contest. Any idea which might flower first?

I'm guessing my AK as the thing in veg looks like constant pre flower the nodes are so tight. Seed people I'm guessing 2 weeks and they will show sex.

My mod cups are a bit boring mate, a half filled 1 litre air pot & a cut down nute bottle with lots of holes in =/ Hopefully the Osram LED's will be the difference

Here is a look at my MOD Class contestants day one of 12/12

The short fat cups have the lead to the moment. I think getting into the tube was a little more traumatic than the cups, but I also think the tubed widow will come back with a vengeance!

If nobody minds, I would still like to play along with photo updates only I will be a couple weeks (maybe less) behind. I am new to growing and to me following behind will help. So the seeds were taking forever and one made it to the surface but didn't last. I got some killer mexican weed from a new source and pulled the seeds out of it, they've been in the water, opened and now on paper towel. These seeds are much faster in germination. Maybe there's a comparison in starting late somewhere? idk

I wanted to get weird with this contest. I was inspired by the baby bottle! Took me a couple days to figure out what I was going to do, once I saw the tube I giggled to much to not try it out

The standard solo is in the lead, closely followed by the airpot & the nute tub is lagging behind but it has always been that way.

My clones barely have roots, but here we go. The ones on the right were transplanted into 0,5 l cups (slightly larger than the 0.4 l I used for the seedling, still under the limit).

They are northern lights, white rhino and papaya. And then there's the unknown seedling, looking all sativa like and fine as hell.

So, i figured out why mine spent 14 days doing apparently jack.
She's been growing her roots out:

Tonight i gave her a full strength nute feed so she'll either lap it up or die lol
