Stumped, I'm the same with fabric pots mate, I'll never buy anything else. CO Finest did a video ages ago showing the roots he had on one of his monster scrog plants. I think it was a 7gal pot & it was just a solid mass of roots,no soil, just roots. He kicked it & it was a big solid pot shaped mass.
For the modified class, can I use a water res to sit a pot in?

Haha yes I've seen his grows, and probably subliminally made me do smart pots lol.
I just tossed out a pineapple mother plant and the rootball was the whole pot.
The modified class and regular I believe its fare to allow bottom feeding. Just no pumps because the tubes can house room for roots is the only main reason. Bits of roots here n there are fine.
What does every one think? Bottom feeding allowed? I think yes but if anyone has a reason why we shouldn't let me know.

I'm thinking of it as a method to make waterings less frequent rather than an advantage, top feeding will be relentless :/

How many judges do things usually have? I've only been in one place with a judge Hahahahah and it was only 1.
Should we make it 5 and ask a mod? And someone else? Or we good with 3

I guess with more judges you get more opinions, so it could be good. I'm fine with 3 or 5 though. And I see no problem with bottom feeding, as long as there's no pumps or timers, no electronic assistance

i was rethinking im going away for the first part of the month. so hempy is a no go for me this round.
im just going to have 2 entries. 1 stock 1 modified.
here is a pic of the comparison. i used hydroton because its non compressible at all. obviously its going to be hard to get exact. but ill sew the brim down tomorrow and this looks to me about the same size in volume. 18 oz.
